The breakout indie sensation has sold over 6 million units since its early access launch in 2017, winning Best Action Game at The Game Awards 2018 and picking up a Golden Joystick (Best Indie Game.) Its ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ lifetime Steam reviews rating speaks volumes, and extensive DLC drops, generous free updates and additional platform releases have kept players coming back.

Yoann Laulan has been associated with developer Motion Twin since the game jams from which Dead Cells was born. As the game has grown, so the soundtrack has deepened with Laulan creating longer and more progressive tracks featuring more electric guitars, piano and choral elements.

This triple vinyl features several tracks from DLC expansions Rise of the Giant, The Bad Seed, Fatal Falls and The Queen and the Sea. On top of that, there are score tracks from the brilliant Dead Cells animated trailers, an 8-bit ‘demake’ version of “ClockTower”, several remixes and other tracks from post-launch game updates (“Distillery” and “Corrupted Prison”.)

26 tracks have been specially mastered for vinyl by audio wizard Joe Caithness, and tracks will be pressed onto audiophile-quality, heavyweight discs in green, ochre and light blue. LPs come in a deluxe gatefold sleeve.

Composer Lorne Balfe's overall musical and philosophical approach to Black Adam was 'to get the emotion and darkness of the main characters back story across to the audience, whilst simultaneously intertwining the old themes and familiarities of the DC comic book world and introducing a new class of superheroes.” He further noted “One way to bring in the feeling of an ancient world together was to collaborate with traditional instruments from Latin America, India, Africa and the Middle East. A particular highlight for me was a percussion session I did where we enlisted several musicians playing various traditional instruments together to achieve this specific sound. Further, we had a large brass section across the score to give the weight and power of the main character’s past, which I balanced out with high tempo, more melodic sounds to give the audience that more familiar heroic feel. We also experimented a lot with choir on this project which was able to contribute a unique and classical sound that ties in nicely with Black Adam’s story.”

Born of the overarching World of Darkness and the tabletop phenomenon Vampire: The Masquerade, Bloodhunt is Sharkmob’s thrilling spin on the multiplayer action genre that sees players take part in a ruthless war between vampire factions.

Bloodhunt boasts a sonically rich score sired by acclaimed Polish-Bulgarian composer Atanas Valkov, and featuring the Sofia Session Orchestra & Choir. The city of Prague provided much of the aesthetic inspiration for Bloodhunt’s soundscape: classical and romantic, yet with many a shadowy corner in which a vampire might secrete themselves. Valkov enjoyed creating contrast between modern electronic musical elements and old world ones, as well as layering guitars and using irregular rhythmic structures. The overall soundtrack is both cinematic and brutal.

The deluxe double LP set features a deluxe gatefold sleeve (individually inkjet numbered) and printed inners dripping with stylish artwork by Sharkmob. 16 tracks have been mastered specially for vinyl, and pressed onto heavyweight, red and transparent LPs with a cloudy effect. With a gun full of lead and a fistful of witchcraft, Laced Records has formed a posse with Ice Code Games and Good Shepherd Entertainment to bring you music from turn-based supernatural westerns Hard West and Hard West 2 to good ol’ wax.

All music has been remastered for vinyl and will be pressed onto heavyweight LPs. Disc 1 is transparent light blue and features the full 14-track OST from 2015’s Hard West. Disc 2 is transparent orange and boasts 9 tracks selected from the Hard West 2 soundtrack. LPs come in printed inners, which are housed in a spined sleeve. Sleeve artwork for Hard West is by Grzegorz Przybyś, while Division48 Studio created the sleeve art for Hard West 2.

With Hard West, Marcin Przybyłowicz (Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077) set the mood for the series, employing twanging guitar, pounding drum beats, lonely trumpets and various atmospheric elements. On several of his more anxious cues, snatches of piano, guitar and violin emerge from the echoey fog to keep players on edge, while maintaining the heightened mix of fantasy-horror and Wild West aesthetics.

For Hard West 2, Jason Graves (Dead Space 1&2, Tomb Raider [2013], Dark Pictures Anthology) gets grittier and grungier, while honoring the sound world of the original. Through his spartan use of bass guitar, percussion, and spooky synths, Graves summons a more primal, earthy sound, while still layering in the acoustic and electric guitars we associate with the dark side of the West.

His work has earned him several awards and nominations from ASCAP, the Game Audio Network Guild, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (D.I.C.E. Awards), and others. Roget also co-founded Impact Soundworks, a successful music software company, and is an accomplished lecturer on game music. He frequently gives online masterclasses and tutorials on music composition and production and has a passion for teaching the craft. He is an avid multi-instrumentalist, performing solo flute, keyboards, world instruments, and guitar on many of his scores.

The story of Eyeshield 21 follows the protagonist Sena, the whipping boy of his classmates, who wants to earn respect by joining a club at the start of the school year. He crosses paths with Hiruma, head of the American soccer club, who recruits him for his exceptional running skills. They must quickly find 11 other players, as the inter-school championship begins in 24 hours. Numerous artists and composers were involved in creating the theme music and accompanying songs, including Kosuke Morimoto, who contributed to various theme songs for Fullmetal Alchemist and One Piece. Any fan of the series will have a strong feeling of nostalgia when they recall the music that marked them during their teenage years. The very Pop-rock and J-pop tones will remind them of those after-school afternoons watching episodes of this epic anime on Game One. You'll also be able to hear the voices of the Japanese cast, including the voice of the main character, Sena Kobayakawa, on many of the credits and accompanying songs. The manga turns 21 in 2023. To celebrate, the author wrote a 55-page one-shot called “Brain X Brave”, which appeared in early January 2024 in Weekly Shonen Jump. The anime has been broadcast frequently on Game One since September 2009 and on France Ô since September 2012.

Way back in 2001, we witnessed monkey mayhem unfurl, by way of a topsy-turvy gameplay mechanic that probably sounded pretty wacky on paper. Super Monkey Ball was totally bizarre and absolutely delightful then — and now, here we are 20 years later, writing about it in a product description. However, for as much love as the characters and the world receive, the unsung gem of this series is its music, which has never been better than in this incarnation, supremely titled, Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. It’s an evolution of the catchy tunes from the OG version, presented here as dancy, trancy, lovely and chill tracks that are incredibly enjoyable to absorb on a lazy Saturday afternoon. In all honesty we wouldn’t be surprised if a few of these ditties snuck into an Electric Daisy Carnival set — they’re that delectably bouncy. iam8bit couldn’t be happier to present this collection, in collaboration with Sega Music, presented with a nod to Andy Warhol’s legendary Velvet Underground album design and done up here with cheeky luster by fellow superstars, Little Friends of Printmaking. Waxwork Records is thrilled to release CHILD’S PLAY (2019) Original Motion Picture Soundtrack! Featuring music by EMMY® and BAFTA Award winning composer Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, TV’s The Walking Dead) in a special deluxe double LP vinyl edition. Directed by Lars Klevberg and starring Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman, Brian Tyree Henry, and featuring the new voice of Chucky performed by Mark Hamill (Star Wars), CHILD’S PLAY is the 2019 American horror film reboot of the 1988 film of the same title. The plot follows a family that is terrorized by a high tech doll that rejects its programming and becomes self aware.

Composer Bear McCreary’s music of CHILD’S PLAY is carried out with his assembly of a “toy orchestra”. McCreary uses his own voice to create an ominous “kids choir” and collaborates closely with legendary actor Mark Hamill who sings the track for the film, “The Buddi Song”. Inspired by Chucky’s toy origins, McCreary challenged himself by composing a score predominately with toys and handheld instruments, completely avoiding traditional orchestra. Toy pianos, slinkies, xylophones, rattles, ukuleles, accordions, kazoos, hurdy gurdies, and more are married with a variety synthesizers, percussion, violin, viola, cello, and bass to create a wholly original, terrifying, and dynamic score.

Album features include the complete film music by Bear McCreary, double 180 gram “Chucky’s Eyes” colored vinyl (Blue and Red), artwork by Phantom City Creative, composer liner notes, a 12”x12” insert, and deluxe packaging.

Johnson keeps intact the delicate balance that made Knives OUT such a clever score, never undermining the danger that is around every corner, but also brings an intoxicating romanticism to every gorgeous landscape. It’s playful, and sinister all at once. “I’m thrilled to announce the release of my score for Glass Onion on vinyl, but more specifically, I’m over the moon to be able to join forces again with the wonderful folks at Mondo,” says Johnson. “Everything they do is one-of-a-kind, but with this release they’ve gone above and beyond. Fire Walk With Me is an altogether more brooding affair than the Twin Peaks series soundtrack. Badalamenti won a grammy for the title track of this LP and it's not hard to see why- it's dangerous, and bursting with smokey jazz thanks to Jimmy Scott. We went back to the master tapes in the Warner Archives and had this recut to fit across two LPs as the score clocks in at 51 minutes. It sounds incredible and punchy, but super nuanced too.

From the brooding opening bars of the main Fire Walk With Me Theme, Angelo Badalamenti's gorgeous, eerie score introduces us to a cinematic experience which significantly begins with the smashing of a television screen. Just as the Main Title from Blue Velvet echoed the Hitchcockian hues of Bernard Herrmann, so here we have just the slightest touch of Taxi Driver, as Jim Hynes' plaintive, keening trumpet soars above a landscape of melancholy keyboards, drawing us into a world which is at once alien and familiar.

This release is housed in a 425-gsm gatefold sleeve inside a bespoke black die cut outer jacket with black spot varnish finish, complete with obi strip and sleeve notes by film critic Mark Kermode (approved by David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti The artwork got fully approved by the director as the audio got approved by the composer
The 180-gram „Cherry Pie“ vinyl 2LP got remastered by Tal Miller at Warner Archives, while laquers were cut by David Cheppa at Plush Vinyl.

It was as part of the European Demo Scene that Kyd first worked with the eventual founders of IO Interactive, going on to score their stealth-action debut. Despite the memory constraints of the DirectMusic system at the time, Kyd delivered a simmering combination of ambient and cinematic music. His concert works have been performed in over 25 countries, with ensembles as large as 1,400 musicians, located in venues ranging from New York City's Carnegie Hall to the Great Wall of China.

Wes Keltner Bio: Wes Keltner is the CEO and Studio Director at Gun Interactive. He has been a part of the video game industry since 2005 and consulted on video games including Doom, Splinter Cell, Star Wars, Madden, Skyrim, Ghost Recon and several others. With an inclination towards marketing and advertising his work has appeared in Fast Company, Forbes, The NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and Ad Age. During the pandemic he took it upon himself to learn a new musical instrument that could deliver the sound of Texas Chain Saw Massacre. He found this sound within the Apprehension Engine and he spent countless hours discovering and recording horrifying sounds that ultimately became the soundbed of the game.
