Strobe it shows circular arranged dashes that are assigned to speed and frequency. Please remember the ring that matches your desired speed and frequency (33 1/3 rpm with 50 Hz and 45 rpm with 50 Hz are valid for Europe). Put Strobe it on the turntable platter and start the turntable. The tonearm remains in its initial position. Align a mains powered light source directly to the turntable with Strobe it rotating. The dashes of the previously pinned ring should now give the impression to stand still. If they seem to move slightly forward or backwards, the speed is either too high or too low. Please note: Use normal mains operated lamps. Daylight, fluorescent lamps (energy saving lamps) as well as flashlights and LEDs, which are operated with direct current, are not suitable.

The X1 is based on the same concept as the P1, but improved in every aspect thanks to modern materials and new production methods. Built-in Phono Stage & Electronic Speed Switch – Made in Europe

The stylish CNC-machined plinth of the T1 features no plastic parts and is carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside, therefore avoiding unwanted vibrations within the chassis. Carrying this philosophy through the design, the glass platter is also a heavy, zero-resonance design. Finally, the purpose-chosen turntable feet also do a good job of isolating the T1 from ambient vibrations around your hi-fi system. In the T1 the motor drives a belt-system, attached to a newly designed sub-platter, which is mounted into an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing. The tonearm new tonearm has an effective length of 8.6”. This one-piece aluminium tonearm also features low-friction bearings for absolute accuracy in use. The T1 comes with a pre-adjusted Ortofon OM 5E Moving Magnet cartridge and is ready to use right out of the box. Also super shielded, semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance Pro-Ject phono cables are included.

Compared to the base T1-model, the Phono SB version includes a built-in, Pro-Ject designed, high-quality phono MM stage and an electronic speed switch between 33 and 45 RPM. For the drive system, where most alternative products may use unregulated DC motors with wide speed fluctuations, the T1 Phono SB features our proven system of an electronically regulated, precision-speed AC motor.

Normally, Reco-Clean alone is effective enough, but we have developed a special additive (cleaning booster) as a countermeasure for stubborn stains that cannot be removed easily.

How to use
1. Apply a small drop of Reco-Clean PLUS to the required area.
2. Wipe off with a Reco-Cloth, pressing it lightly against the surface of the record as if polishing it.
3. Clean the entire surface again with regular Reco-Clean.

The transparent acrylic plinth stands on three individually height-adjustable TPE-damped aluminium cones and carries the motor and the sub-chassis. The sub-chassis, made of Corian, rests on three magnetic fields. A magnetic sub-chassis suspension system avoids parasitic noise normally caused by conventional spring mechanism. A supplied spirit level allows easy adjustment of the sub-chassis. A quiet running AC motor unit drives the platter’s outside edge via a belt. A good motor by itself, is already very quiet. To get the best performance out of it, we have improved the motor suspension. The X2‘s motor chassis is carefully balanced and suspended on a precision tuned TPE belt - this way the motor chassis is effectively decoupled from the main plinth for optimal performance.

The Tonearm - 9'' Carbon-Aluminium Tonearm
Finished as a one-piece, with no resonance-inducing headshell, the X2 can also be set for azimuth and VTA adjustment. The tonearm is then supplied with a TPE-damped counterweight.
Compared with its little brother the X1, the tonearm is longer - 9“ in length - and the tube has a wider diameter. The carbon/aluminium sandwhich construction results in better internal damping. The increased mass makes the tonearm an excellent fit for low compliance MC cartridges.

The stylish CNC-machined plinth of the T1 features no plastic parts and is carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside, therefore avoiding unwanted vibrations within the chassis. Green terminal will always be used for grounding the cartridge housings or motor-system, whenever connected inside the cartridge.

We recommend to connect lead wires to the cartridge and headshell before mounting the cartridge on the headshell. Please remember correct orientation of the leads. Ortofon SH-4 headshell and Ortofon cartridges' terminal PINs diameter is 1.2 mm, whilst Ortofon headshells' PINs diameter is normally only 1.0 mm.

Using LW 8N with the SH-4 headshell requies the LW 8N shell side clamp to be widened a little bit to fit on the SH-4 PINs. If shifted around, it may cause over-tightening of the assembly. Being aware about this detail, you will avoid the risk of having the cartridge's terminal PINs fall out.

The Pro-Ject Pick it S2 MM is manufactured by the cartridge experts at Ortofon and voiced by the design team at Pro-Ject. It is equipped with a special elliptical stylus tip. It provides detailed sound reproduction and expansive imaging. It is a no-nonsense performer with fascinating musical resources. Attached to a strong cantilever, used in DJ cartridges, this cartridge will not just sound great, it is also very strong.

rtofon DS-3 - a high precision digital stylus pressure gauge
DS-3 is a new lightweight compact digital stylus pressure gauge model. The DS-3 is a miniature ultra precision non-magnetic instrument that tunes your tonearm to the highest possible degree. The DS-3 scale is factory pre-calibrated for high accuracy measurements with the tolerance of +/-0.01 g.

How to use the DS-3
• Turn on the device by pressing ON button. The display will show 0000.
• Press the UNIT button to select the measurement unit. The default setting is gram/g.
• Place the stylus on the measurement plate on the right side of the device. Display will start blinking. It will stop blinking when the measurement is completed. The value displayed on the screen is the stylus pressure.
• The display screen will automatically dim to saving mode after 5 seconds of inactivity and turn off after 60 seconds of inactivity.
• When a battery runs out, a LO indicator will flash on the screen. Then replace both batteries.
• PCS button balances count by calculating the average weight of one piece-weight called a unit weight, then applying it to the total weight of what you are trying to count. Firstly, weigh one PC, then weigh the bundle, then push the PCS button and on the display you’ll get a number of PCS.

However, the RP-7000 MK2 is also cable of a wider, DJ-friendly +/- 16% pitch range and a massive +/-50% ultra-pitch. This allows for increased creativity when modulating the playing record's tone. If quartz lock is active, the platter speed will remain unaffected by the fader position and will spin at zero pitch (0%).

HIGH-QUALITY CONNECTIONS AND INTEGRATED PHONO PRE-AMP
Thanks to the recessed rear connection panel, the RP-7000 MK2 can easily be mounted in a flight case and seamlessly positioned next to other DJ gear. The switchable integrated phono pre-amp makes it is possible to use the gold-plated RCA connectors for both phono and line output signals. An optional ground terminal offers additional protection in club environments. All cable connections (RCA/mains) are detachable and easy to exchange, which also helps with transport and storage.

ELAC’s Miracord 50 Turntable is designed to deliver exceptional vinyl transcription, inspired by the iconic Miracord name from the Golden Age of Stereo, when turntables reigned supreme. The Miracord 50 is carefully engineered with a belt-drive motor and die-cast aluminum platter. A precision static balanced, straight-tube tonearm with removable headshell features a factory-mounted MM phono cartridge. Designed with convenience in mind, the Miracord 50 is equipped with a built-in defeatable phono preamplifier, allowing you to add this turntable to virtually any music system.

Goldring E3

The Goldring philosophy is to promote the accurate replication of the original record production, maintaining the creative nuances, musicality and rhythm the artist intended you to hear. With the versatile E Series, this is easy to achieve; each is designed to be simple to fit to the majority of budget to medium priced turntables.

The E3 cartridge, representing the top of the range features the same aluminium cantilever as the E2, but benefits from a superior, bonded, super-elliptical (0.3 x 0.7 mil) stylus. This gives it better high frequency detail retrieval over ordinary elliptical (0.4 x 0.7 mil) or spherical (0.6 mil) types due to its smaller front-to-back radius. The main effect is the reduction of sibilance, especially in high level vocal recordings

Magnetic Duplex Technology™
All cartridges in the range feature Magnetic Duplex Technology™-a 'dual magnet' generator assembly with an identical geometry to that of the original cutting head. This means it can more accurately reproduce the stereo information in the record groove, providing better channel separation and a more involving and musical sound stage.

Expert Adjustment
The E-series cartridges have been designed to allow micro-adjustments to be made during production using a special adjustment screw. This means the cartridge can be safely installed in a typical turntable because the angle that the stylus makes with the record surface has been pre-set. The result is an optimised channel balance with zero degrees of horizontal tracking adjustment required. This ensures a consistent and reassuring performance for the life of the product.

Featuring spherical styli with a choice of cantilevers, the E1 and E2 models are ideal as an upgrade to any budget, pre-fitted or obsolete cartridge. The E3 model with its re­fined super elliptical stylus is a worthwhile upgrade for those wishing to squeeze even more information and detail from the record groove.
