Reissue of the 2011 album Tao of the Dead by American alternative rock band ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of The Dead. First time available on vinyl since its release year. Features a replica of the original comic book insert.

Tao of the Dead is their seventh album. The band stripped down to its core four-piece lineup for the record, deviating from the past two records that featured a filled-out six-piece band. This resulted in a stripped-down record with heavy emphasis on guitar. It’s a two-part record, each side with a specific musical tuning; Part One in D and Part Two in F.

The album can be listened to as 16 different movements or two lengthy tracks. Part One: Tao Of The Dead is split into eleven tracks, whereas Part Two: Strange News From Another Planet is five songs combined into one. Lead singer Conrad Keely described the album's composition; "It's the way I listened to albums when I was a kid, seeing as some of my favorite records were Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, Yes' Relayer and Close to the Edge... I always liked listening to records that were just a continuous piece, like an orchestra or a symphony."

Five long years have passed since the New Jersey psych-rock squad dropped their last album, but the wait is finally over. Ruby THE Hatchet have reached a new peak of writing music as a collective that was hard won through sacrifices and an iron will to get better and to reach a new level each time. The album title, "Fear Is a Cruel Master", duly epitomizes the mood of the lockdown period in which it was written. Accustomed to working together as a group, singer Jillian Taylor, guitarist Johnny Scarps, drummer Owen Stewart, bassist Lake Muir, and organist Sean Hur were forced to spend more time apart than they normally would. "I read a lot during the pandemic, when I came across the phrase 'fear is a cruel master'," Taylor explains. “At the time, you could see the fear and how it was holding people back. The title resonates with being in the music community, because it was shaky for everyone – from bands to booking agents to venues. Fear was in the air.” Recorded at New Future in Jersey with Paul Ritchie from THE Parlor MOB, "Fear Is a Cruel Master" wasn't as meticulously mapped out as Ruby's previous albums. The band purposely left space for spontaneity and magic moments. Ultimately, the main theme of "Fear Is a Cruel Master" is self-reflection. Although these songs were forged in the crucible of world-stopping pestilence, they come with a timeless quality that transcends the moment of their creation. Who am I? This is the essential question that PENCEY SLOE explore on their sophomore full-length "Neglect". In 1997 a brother and sister climbed into the third floor attic of their Southwest Detroit family homestead and bashed out a primitive cover of David Bowie’s “Moonage Daydream.” In an alternate reality, it’s all they ever do musically. The brother leads a spartan life as a dutiful upholsterer and the sister finishes culinary school and continues to make heartwarming food.

But that doesn’t happen. Something sparks in both of them. They take their simple guitar-drums-voice approach to a local open mic night on Bastille Day. The performance was just good enough to keep them going. In what feels like a whirlwind, they record and release two 7-inch singles for a local indie label. A not-so-local indie offers to put out a full length album.

On March 4, 1975, Jim Sullivan mysteriously disappeared outside Santa Rosa, New Mexico. His VW bug was found abandoned, his motel room untouched. Some think he got lost. Some think the mafia bumped him. Some even think he was abducted by aliens.

By coincidence–or perhaps not–Jim’s 1969 debut album was titled U.F.O.. Released in tiny numbers on a private label, it too was truly lost until Light In The Attic Records began a years-long quest to re-release it–and to solve the mystery of Sullivan’s disappearance. Only one of those things happened, and you can guess which…

Light In The Attic’s reissue of U.F.O. introduced the world to an overlooked masterwork and won Sullivan, posthumously (presumably), legions of new fans. Those new admirers are in for a real treat: a lavish, first-time release of a previously unheard 1969 studio session.

If The Evening Were Dawn contains 10 acoustic solo recordings that have never seen the light of day. Whereas U.F.O. was bolstered by legendary sessioneers The Wrecking Crew, this is Jim Sullivan on his own terms, stripped down and soulful as ever. Recorded at a Los Angeles studio circa 1969, the session contains acoustic versions of a handful of U.F.O. tracks alongside a half dozen previously unheard songs. This, then, is the closest thing to those fabled Malibu bar performances at which Sullivan was first noticed.

According to his widow, Barbara, this was the album Jim always hoped to record. It serves as an unprecedented glimpse into the mysterious, larger-than-life figure who’s become the stuff of legends.

While Sullivan’s disappearance remains unsolved, his music endures and is finally gaining him the recognition he deserves, albeit long overdue. This recording serves as an unexpected missing piece of the puzzle; this is Jim Sullivan’s true swan song.

Tamás Kátai has a vision that extends far beyond his native Hungary, but Thy Catafalque’s twelfth album is tied to the past in more ways than one. Whereas his previous album returned to the heavier days of Thy Catafalque, XII takes Kátai on a more figurative journey. The album unfolds like a dark night of the soul, whisked away by the dreamy-yet-haunting opener “Piros kocsi, fekete éj”. “Run with me, life / Whisper the tales”, Attila Bakos sings in Hungarian. His cleans soar over the airwaves, reappearing with ease 15 years after he first joined Thy Catafalque for the project’s underground breakout Róka Hasa Rádió. More old friends join Kátai on this journey. A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek features 20+ guest musicians, including familiar faces from inside and outside of the Hungarian metal scene. Violins, cello and clarinet bring the comforts of home. Still, the road can be quite harsh. “Mindenevő” is consumed with humanity’s self-destructive appetite, fueled by mechanized blast beats and distorted downpicking that recalls the fiery black metal from which Thy Catafalque was originally forged in 1998. Hungarian history looms behind the album’s most crushing moments. The coal blackened chugger “Vasgyár” is named after the rusted-out ironworks that once fueled the country’s economy. In the video for the album’s title track and lead single, Kátai runs through not only his hometown but surreal scenes from past and present issues that lie beneath the surface of the countryside. But his flair for the avant-garde still shines like the dawn. The synth's minor key melody glows with the faint but familiar reassurance that the beautiful dreams are yet to come. 1. They named themselves after Ken Russel’s legendary movie The Devils (1971).Their third album, Beast Must Regret Nothing (2021), was produced by Alain Johannes (qotsa, Them Crooked Vultures, Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey) and features Mark Lanegan on lead vocals for ‘Devil Whistle Don’t Sing.’ Their upcoming studio album still features the multifaceted musician Johannes in mixing, mastering, and performing guitar solos for ‘Horror and Desire.’Let The World Burn Down will drop via Go Down Records in February 2024. The same label released The Devils’ first live album in January 2023. The band has toured with great acts such as The Sonics, Jon Spencer & The Hitmakers, Boss Hog, Mudhoney and many others. They have also performed at several major European festivals, including Azkena Rock Festival and Helldorado

This King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard ‘Live In Austin’ bootleg album is comprised of two performances recorded at the 2014 and 2016 Levitation festivals in Austin, Texas. Capturing a historic moment for King Gizz, the 2014 set was the band’s first ever North American show and includes raw early versions of fan favourites from the ‘I’m In Your Mind Fuzz’, ‘Oddments’ and ‘Float Along - Fill Your Lungs’ LPs. The 2016 show on discs 2 and 3 captures their return to Austin two years later hot off the heels of the release of ‘Nonagon Infinity’, and also sees them storm through Gizz bangers from ‘Paper Mache Dream Balloon’, ‘Quarters’ and ‘12 Bar Bruise’. This bootleg is remastered exclusively for Fuzz Club and arrives as a triple LP box set with new and exclusive artwork by Elzo Durt. Each box-set also includes a 62cm x 62cm poster.

After 40 years as one of the longest running and most prolific groups in American Punk music, one could suspect that ANTiSEEN might be pretty close to running on E ... but this couldn’t be further from the truth. With their latest full length offering, Great Disasters, they aim to silence the doubters and unbelievers, and they hit their mark dead on. Their first LP since 2017’s Obstinate, Great Disasters is a filler-free, 25 minute tour de force that perfectly exemplifies the qualities that have made AntiSeen such an enduring presence in the underground. The record’s nine urgent, lively, and expertly-composed tracks range from motor-charged rippers to anthemic stompers, all brimming with the band’s ever-present Southern swagger and grit. After four decades and dozens of releases, the band is somehow sharper and more vital than ever, with all energy and twice the personality of bands half their age. This is feat is in no small part due to the band’s newly minted “ultra Line-Up," featuring mastermind Jeff Clayton, longtime collaborator SIR Barry Hannibal, and known associates Malcolm Tent and Walt Wheat. Tent’s long track record as a paragon of American outsider music both running the label Tpos and as a member of Broken Talent and the Bloody Apostles, among many others, make him a valuable asset to the new line-up. Likewise, Wheat’s decades-long stint as the guitarist of Mississippi’s Before I Hang earned him a honed edge ready-made for ANTiSEEN’s razor-sharp style of homegrown Southern Punk. And with none other than Scott “wino” Weinrich (the Obsessed, Saint Vitus etc.) lending his talents to the phenomenal cover of Steppenwolf’s “Who Needs Ya?,” Great Disasters boasts a roster whose combined credentials guarantees an absolute barn burner of a record. Where lesser bands are hobbled by the passage of time, AntiSeen only see it as an opportunity to perfect their craft. With four decades of practice under their belt, it’s no surprise that they’re masters of their trade, and Great Disasters is simply the latest piece of evidence to back their rightful claim to the throne of Destructo Rock.
