Er ist On Top . Die Rede ist von Kool Savas, der mit seinem letzten Soloalbum Tot oder lebendig nicht nur einen Klassiker geschaffen, sondern auch seine Relevanz in der Szene einmal mehr bestätigt hat: Von 0 auf Platz 10 in den Albumcharts und zwei ausverkaufte Touren inklusive Live-DVD (Platz 4 der DVD-Charts) sprechen Bände und zeigen, wer Deutschlands King im HipHop-Reich ist. Keine Frage, dass nun auch endlich ein Best Of Album den Weg in die Welt finden muß. Als erster Vorbote erscheint mit On Top ein Song, der bereits auf Tot oder lebendig zu überzeugen wusste.
Kein Wunder, schließlich treffen auf On Top wieder die beiden Schwergewichte Kool Savas und Azad aufeinander. Bereits mit One und ihrer Top-Ten-Single All 4 One bewiesen der Berliner und der Frankfurter, dass ihre gemeinsame Arbeit nicht nur kreative, sondern auch erfolgreiche Früchte trägt. Und wie bereits auf All 4 One , widmen sich die beiden auch auf On Top dem inhaltlichen Aufzeigen und präsentieren in einer von Melbeatz stimmungsvoll arrangierten Soundlandschaft die Kopf-hoch -Attitüde.

Following the labels’ ideals, you’ll get a cinematic artwork on top of that, collectively composed by Gordon , V.Raeter and The Binh .

In 2013, "Fresh & Umbenannt" certainly marked a new step for Retrogott & Hulk Hodn by introducing a new stage name, but the album still owns the remarkable sound of the duo. 23 tracks in total with a feature by Morlockk Dilemma.

Originally released in 2014, AzudemSK put himself on a wider screen in the German rap scene with "Classic". True school rap from front to end including a feature track with Slowy. The 20 Years HHV edition includes all instrumentals.

Ob ausverkaufte Tourneen, Gold- und Platinauszeichnung oder drei Nummer-1-Alben in Folge: Das sind nur einige Höhepunkte dieser einzigartigen Karriere. Die Vorhersage ist eingetroffen Savas hat Battlerap in Deutschland zum Leben erweckt. Doch sein Weg ist noch lange nicht zu Ende.
Mit Essahdamus wird nun die nächste Prophezeiung wahr. Denn damals wie heute gilt: In Sachen Flow, Stimme, Technik ist Kool Savas seiner Zeit voraus. Essahdamus beweist diese Dominanz in beeindruckender Form. Kein Imagekram, kein Pathosgehabe Fans dürfen sich auf reinsten Rap in Perfektion freuen.
Dem Rap-Orakel Savas steht dabei die Crème de la Crème der deutschen Raplandschaft zur Seite. Ob Pioniere wie Azad und Samy Deluxe oder Berliner Legenden wie Sido auf Essahdamus gibt sich ausschließlich die Elite die Ehre. Doch Savas wäre nicht Savas hätte er nicht ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön für seine langjährigen Fans in Petto. Eine kleine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit steht auf dem Programm und vereint erstmalig wieder die gesamte legendäre Berliner Crew M.O.R. auf einem Song. Essahdamus steht für Geschichte.
Für den passenden Sound sorgen unter anderem DJ Smoove und Abaz. Doch auch Mr. Melodie selbst sitzt wieder hinter den Reglern, um der musikalischen Eingebung den nötigen Feinschliff zu verpassen.
