Pictured Resort will release the 7-inch "Your Song On The Radio" on Japanese RSD Saturday, April 22.

Pictured Resort is a solo unit of Koji Takagi, whose sound passes through neoacoustic, AOR, city pop, dream pop, and disco. Last July 2022, they released their third and latest album "Once Upon A Season".

The A-side is "Your Song On The Radio," a mellow and sweet pop song with the melodic sense that is the essence of Pictured Resort, and the B-side is a soft 70s-inspired song that was released last year at the end of 2022 and has become a hot topic. The B-side includes "2012," a soft rock tune with a 70's vibe that was released last year at the end of 2022 and became a hot topic.

The cover of the album features a new illustration by Kachinatsumi, who has created many of Pictured Resort's works, and is a perfect example of Pictured Resort's unique style.

This classic live concert from 1976 was the last show of Peter’s first solo US tour, supporting the Legalize It album, which had been released four months earlier. The rhythm section on the tour, and thus on this release, consists of Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare. This first vinyl pressing, on double transparent yellow vinyl, comes to record stores for Record Store Day 2023.

From Washington DC group Chuck Brown & The Soul Searchers, the latin belter "Berro e Sombaro" has been sampled and re-edited over the years, but not issued in it's original form on the single side of a 7". It was first released as the closing track on Chuck's "Bustin Loose" album from 1979 where the go-go- funk title track was centre stage. "Berro e Sombaro" came through on the 80s rare groove scene. The 'b' side is an exclusive 7" edit of the Gamble & Huff composed masterpiece "Never Gonna Give You Up", also from the same album, and never previously on 7" single.

DEATH, the heavy metal institution founded, realized, and helmed by legendary guitarist Chuck Schuldiner, released the Individual Thought Patterns album (the follow-up to their watershed Human release) in 1993. Expectations were high following Human, but Schuldiner proved once again that he could rise to any occasion. Individual Thought Patterns further honed the forward-thinking and progressive direction birthed with Human and included “The Philosopher,” arguably the best song to ever come from the world of extreme metal and to this date the most widely-recognized.

This RSD Black Friday title is a previously unreleased complete album remaster of the original mix of Individual Thought Patterns by Alan Douches at West West Side, pressed on White Inside of Black Ice with Splatter vinyl.

What do you get when you team the weirdest actor in Hollywood (one Crispin Hellion Glover) with two of the weirdest guys in pop music (Barnes & Barnes of "Fish Heads" fame)?

Something, well, WEIRD! Like, really freaking strange. Fans of The Residents and King Missile might find something to groove to here, but really this provides a voyeuristic dive into the deep, dark waters of one of the true characters of modern times (Johnny Depp or Keanu Reeves rock and roll crossover this ain't). Glover reads from his books of poetry ("Auto Manipulator" is about exactly what it sounds like it's about) over B&B's demented musical excursions. The result is a true cult classic, whose brief 1989 vinyl release remains impossibly scarce and impossibly pricey. Thus this first vinyl reissue (with three tracks never before on vinyl), in light blue with crimson "clowny clown clown" splatter vinyl limited to 2000 copies for Record Store Day! 12" x 18" poster and CD booklet featuring Glover's deeply disturbed comic book scribblings, too! (Don't bother calling the home phone number Crispin put on the back cover, it's disconnected).

Formed in the town of New Mills, Derbyshire in 1980, Oi legends Blitz revitalised the UK punk scene of the era, their incendiary debut Voice Of A Generation a massive commercial success, but the 1983 follow-up Time Empire Justice had a different line-up and new wave orientation, pointing to fissures in the group; then, in 1990, guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Nidge Miller teamed up with former Attack frontman Gary Basnett for The Killing Dream, a studio swansong that revived the name with Nidge fully in control. Devotees will love the sterling guitar work on this final piece of the Blitz jigsaw.

A match made in heaven as critically acclaimed star and Jazz FM’s Best International Artist Lady Blackbird, joins forces with pioneering producer, Richard Barratt under his Athletes of God moniker to offer up two mesmerising and magnetic cuts that have never before been on vinyl. Up first the duo join forces with legendary Sheffield songwriter/musician Michael Somerset Ward aka MSW - the man behind countless chart hits for the likes of Alison Moyet and Take That. ‘Fontella’ is an ode and recounting of the trials and tribulations of being a female singer, in this case the legend that is, Fontella Bass. A soaring funk fuelled party jam that has major radio support already lined up and was previewed last year on 6Music by the man that broke Lady Blackbird as well as so many other acts, Gilles Peterson.

On the flip, a track that has been getting serious attention across the airwaves including 6Music playlisting, the ethereal, Balearic and instantly captivating cover of Randy Crawford’s mid-‘80s number ‘Don’t Wanna Be Normal’. A track that harnesses all of Barratt’s experience behind the production controls letting Lady Blackbird’s incredible voice sing to its full potential, over the top of a chest-rumbling chugger of a backbone. The heaviest of jazz funk grooves from the musical melting pot of New Orleans, The Dome City Rock Orchestra – Quiet Village is a super rare slice of tight-as-you-like talent, that commands prices of over £200 for an original 7 inch, if you can ever find one. Bursting with energy as synthesisers swirl around flutes, bongos dance over drums to create a cosmic whirlwind that enthrals any ear it worms its way into. Previously only available as a download and CD on the band's Bandcamp page, this is it's first appearance on vinyl. metal machine music... moody and alluring. edwin pouncey, the wire beautiful, chaotic and compelling - genres are unimportant, the telescopes pay pigeonholes as much attention as pigeons do immigration officials. the telescopes are truly transcendental, they make the music they feel moved to when they feel moved to do so. This is why they can record a perfect pulse drone backwash like 'another sky' and equally why legions of allegedly cutting edge bands will rip off and run out with a diluted version within the next year. this is why 'household objective#2' is the coolest and scariest piece of electronica to surface since the BBC's radiophonic workshop got dr who off to a flier. the telescopes light a torch under the arse of a depressingly homogenized world, but don't follow theirs, light your own, it's what they'd prefer.

Level Headed was without doubt the most distinctive album Sweet ever produced. It is both varied in itself and very different from almost anything that they had released before. In a lot of ways, it was Sweet taking a risk. It shows many aspects of the band that are easily overlooked on previous albums and unseen aspects for the first time. The album gave them their final Top Ten hit with the dreamy "Love Is Like Oxygen," a single that has become a staple for the band. This release includes never released alternative mixes and demos from the original release. Pressed on Clear Blue Vinyl.

Known to many for their uplifting hit song “O-o-h Child,” Stairsteps (formerly The Five Stairsteps) were The First Family of Soul, providing the template for family bands like The Jackson 5. Originally discovered by Curtis Mayfield, they were introduced to The Beatles by Billy Preston. George Harrison signed the band to Dark Horse Records in 1975 and put out the band’s final album, 2nd Resurrection, which featured one of their biggest hits, “From Us To You.” Billy Preston played synthesizer and served as co-producer alongside Robert Margouleff.

Released in late 2012, Odes was the fourth studio album from The Flowers of Hell. It is a covers record and the first release from the group to feature vocals and verse-chorus-verse song structures. Never available on vinyl until now. Greg Jarvis, front man of The Flowers of Hell, has created something very special; the artwork features a die cut outer sleeve, revealing the printed inner sleeve and when removed, revealing more artwork on the inside of the 300gsm outer sleeve. The music has been remastered for LP by Odes co-producer Peter Moore.Pressed in a red 180g heavyweight vinyl, the whole package is stickered and poly bagged, a real show stopper!

Two classic Jackie Stoudemire gems, ‘Flying High’ and ‘Guilty’ get a long overdue reissue, the former of which has never been available on vinyl before.

Picked up by Tap Records impresario Jeremiah Yisrael, Jackie spent the lion’s share of 1982 in the studio with Yisrael, the prolific Gene Redd and dozens of musicians, including purportedly Barry White’s Love Unlimited Orchestra.

Ten songs were recorded over the course of the year, and two of the standouts are pressed loud and proud on either side of this limited 7 inch. First up the funk-fuelled, slick and stylish disco number ‘Flying High’, pressed for the first time ever to vinyl. ‘Guilty’ takes the B, one of the last songs Gene Redd would ever pen and some of the finest production work in a career that spanned four decades.
