Thee Spivs are back with their second album 'Black And White Memories' in November, following their critically acclaimed debut 'Taped Up' from 2010. This is the lead single from the album called 'T.V. Screen', it's a limited edition 7" with anexclusive b-side, a cover of the Billy Childish classic "Don't Like The Man That I Am" which weirdly enough has also been covered by Pete Molinari and the Singing Loins, both on Damaged Goods! A special release signifying PPM50 and Post Present Medium as a label for ten years. Wives were a punk band formed in Los Angeles in 2001, they recorded, performed and toured until 2005 when they disbanded. After their last US tour and and before their (_rst and last) UK /Europe tour in 2005 Dean Spunt (bass and vocals) and Randy Randall (guitar) recorded these 7 songs with new drummer Roy Tatum. These were the songs, if you saw them live, Wives were playing, working on and perfecting at the time on the final tour.Recorded By Bobb Bruno in their practice space in 2005 the "Roy Tapes" were shelved and have not been listened to by anyone until they were decided to be released, nearly seven years later. It holds the fury and confusion of the live sets...

Zusätzlich liegt noch ein Kupon zum kostenlosen Download bei. Musikalisch wieder mal unverkennbar Heimatglück dürfte das Album nicht enttäuschen. Letztes Jahr gab es schon einen kleinen Vorgeschmack auf diese LP in Form einer super-limitierten Split-7" mit der Hamburger Band Herrenmagazin. Mit dem dort vorab zu hörenden Stück ,Leben deklinieren" sind auf der neuen LP zwölf neue Stücke enthalten, die in den letzten drei Jahren entstanden sind. Weiter angereichert wird ,Spass allein genügt nicht mehr" mit zwei neu eingespielten Versionen von zwei Stücken (,Eventuell Morgen" und ,Sahnemund"), die schon von Compilations bekannt sein dürften und zuletzt gibt es anlässlich des 15-jährigen Bestehens mit ,Carlo" noch eine Neuaufnahme von der ersten Split-7" mit Pankzerkroiza Polpotkin. Aufgenommen und produziert in Zusammenarbeit mit Ronnie Henseler/Alien Network (Kommando Sonne-Nmilch u.a.) in Hamburg, mit welchem schon das ,Können gebratene Tauben fliegen?"-Album und die Klartext-7" aufgenommen wurde. Das Cover ist von Pencil Quincy (bekannt ua für die Cover von Digger Barnes) exklusiv gestaltet worden und überhaupt ist die Platte, wie man es von Heimatglück gewohnt ist, besonders hübsch. Dazu gibt es ein Inlay mit allen Texten und Fotos.

Bringing together all of the recordings from seminal anarcho puck outfit Stone The Crowz - on stunning White Vinyl! Formed in East London / Essex, a mutual love of Crass and all things anarcho first brought Trevor Speed and Trevor Delasalle together and the band was formed. After several false starts with different musicians they finally found what they were looking for in Steve Beatty drums) and Matthew Sheath bass) and very quickly they had a set and made their live debut supporting The Subhumans. In just under a year the band were in the studio and recorded their first six track demo in 1985, a second demo with a much angrier feel soon followed and racks from both demos ended up on vinyl: Mortarhates We Won't Be Your Fucking Poor, Endangered Musics Relying On Us EP and Punk Lives, Lets Slam released by Slam Records.

25 years in the making the Dwarves Are Born Again features heroes from throughout the Dwarves saga. Blag the Ripper, HeWhoCanNotBeNamed, Rex Everything, the Fresh Prince of Darkness and a cast of thousands including Vadge Moore and Sgt. Saltpeter from the notorious Blood, Guts and Pussy record return to crush the ears of a desperate public. You get hardcore punk, ear banging pop and everything in between from the long standing masters of all styles. Damaged rock celebrity cameos mix with twisted phone messages and ear splitting noise all delivered with the pomp and circumstance that only the mighty Dwarves can deliver.

After only three months of playing shows, DAG Nasty went into Inner Ear Studios with IAN Mackaye. Dag With Shawn was recorded on Halloween Day 1985 and features the original line-up of the band with Shawn Brown on vocals. Initially songs from this session were to be released as a four-song 7-inch on Dischord, but shortly after the recording Shawn left Dag Nasty and the tape was shelved. In early 1986 the band re-recorded the entire album with new vocalist Dave Smalley and released it as Can I Say. Shawn went on to form the much loved Swiz and Dag Nasty went through several more line-up changes over the years, including another vocal switch when Dave Smalley was replaced by Peter Cortner. This original session has only been previously available as partial out-takes and unauthorized bootlegs and, until now, has never been released in its complete form. This recording, taken from restored master tapes, offers a unique view into the early development of one of DC’s most influential bands. LP includes a download.

Having formed only about two years ago, Lion's Law has quickly

Recorded over 6 months by Jon Drew at Giant Studios in Toronto, Year of the Ox is the band's fourth record in the continuing 12-year cycle and adds to its evolving retinue of guest musicians. The patient and building Year of the Ox features Nika Rosa Danilova of Zola Jesus for a guest vocal passage and Toronto's string quartet, New Strings Old Puppets. B-side "Solomon's Song," a gothic vampire love tribute to Twilight, features a 5-minute saxophone solo from Aerin Fogel of the Bitters and heavy synthing from Trust.
