The trio consisting of Montreal-based Le Makizar and Paris-based brothers Parental & Lex finally teams up again to present their new album "Résonance". The vinyl includes 12 tracks in total with features by MC Grey and Shing02 plus 10 instrumental versions. Additional production support is provided by Parisian beatsmith Alcynoos.

After more than a decade respectively developing their solo careers, Le Makizar, Parental & Lex drop all new music enlighted by multi-layered instrumentals & lyrics in a deep-Jazz infused vibe. Once again, Parental’s dreamy powerful beats perfectly serve Lex & Le Makizar’s poetic and abstract mellow flows.

The original beat of "Battlecry," the opening theme of the anime "Samurai Champloo," known as "The Other Side of Phase," will be released.

The song was included on the compilation CD "Listening is Believing" released by Libyus Music, the label from which the albums "metaphorical music"
and "modal soul" were released. In physical form, it was distributed only on CD.

After a long time, "Rainyway Back Home" from "spiritual state" and "Horizon" from "modal soul" were recorded and released on analogue vinyl!

The cover was designed by Meguru Yamaguchi, a Japanese artist based in New York, adding vivid colour and dynamism to the music.

Bold is the new collaboration between High Ku (Chinese Man) and Supa-Jay (Scratch Bandits Crew). Born in 2021 in the Chinese Man Records labs, this new project synthesizes the passion for the forgotten samples of one and the melodic and compositional talents of the other. Their eponymous debut album, scheduled for January 2022, develops a universe where old school Hip Hop and Trip Hop collide, subtly sprinkled with more modern rhythms borrowing from Trap and Electro.

La Fam Ill is a multi genre, alt Hip Hop album, featuring a heavy dose of classic old school beats that weave their way from bouncy dub & upbeat guitar led funk beats, to modern electro infused hip hop underpinned with dirty synth lines. With a different producer on every track there is a plethora of musical styles all tied together with the T’s. Too Many T’s showcase buoyant playful tongue in cheek lyrics teaching us not to take life too seriously with their notorious back-to-back double-time raps, whilst sitting comfortably alongside much deeper and more reflective song writing.
