The original 2011 release is one of the first projects that globally focused on the golden era of Turkish popular music of the 1970s. Back then, both originals and a selection of remixes were released and created serious hype in collector scenes with rare (300 copies each) 7"s that have never been pressed again. Meanwhile, the Turkish psychedelic-folk-disco style got more popular and some collectors discovered it via this series.

Now at its 10th anniversary Nublu Records is compiling these 12 remixes under a special edition double-LP pressed on 180g purple vinyl.

The Endless Coloured Ways is a collection of songs by legendary singer/ songwriter, Nick Drake, performed and recorded by over 30 incredible artists from a range of different backgrounds, genres, age groups and audiences From Fontaines D.C. to Guy Garvey, Aurora to Feist, and Self-Esteem to David Gray, each artist has offered their own incredible take on a timeless classic "Nick Drake was not that concerned with promoting himself as an artist but I think he would have been overjoyed to hear his art promoted by so many vibrant and talented artists such as the ones we approached. Dawn is finally back in print after many years of absence. The songs were written in 2002 mostly while traveling alone through the United States and Europe and especially while spending the winter of 2002/2003 alone in a cabin in Kjerringøy, Norway, but these recordings didn’t happen until years later when they were recorded simply, quickly in one sitting, just acoustic guitar and singing, and released as an LP and also as a (now out of print) book/CD of journal entries from that cold winter.

For this current edition, the entire text of the Dawn book has been squeezed onto a massive folded double sided poster and included in the record jacket, along with a download card and a pretty white vinyl LP.

Recorded in Dali, Yunnan province throughout 2021, the record explores the power of intention through a variety of musical instruments that are perhaps unique to casual Western listeners. The yangqin – a Chinese variant of the hammered dulcimer – provides the ongoing narrative voice. This conjures a shadowy kaleidoscope of splintered melodic phrases, lithe rhythms, and weighty thrums thanks to an assortment of both Eastern and Western instrumentation, including guzheng, pipa, bawu, double bass, and piano.

The grandson of Egyptian actor/musician Moharam Fouad stormed the charts with the brilliant single 'Habibi', a song that envelops itself in a mist of melancholy and gloom.
