Los Syn were born in 1966 in Chile, formed by four young lads from the US whose parents were working in Santiago at the time, and they released this sole 45 before all going back to the US next year. The record is practically nowhere to be found, and such an amazing example of teen garage folk-punk the way we all lose our head for.

Limited reissue of 500 copies, with an insert with liners by Gary Pilgram (bass player), and two postcards with unseen photos!

Originally released in 1970 in Norway only, and selling in ridiculously small numbers, this has been something of a legendary cut for lovers of all things psychedelic, just waiting for the right time for a re-release.

Formed in early 1970 by Deep Purple bassist Nick Simper, Warhorse began as a backing band for singer Marsha Hunt. The group initially also featured Rick Wakeman, but he departed the band in April 1970 to join Strawbs. The band’s self-titled debut album was released on Vertigo in November 1970 and is a fine example of progressive hard rock of the era. With a heavy Hammond organ touch the group was in fact leading a new way of thinking, fusing neoclassical elements with heavy blues. Compared to label mates Black Sabbath, Warhorse were in the end much closer to Atomic Rooster and Quatermass. A truly welcomed re-issue in gatefold vinyl !

Psychedelic hard-rock with occult overtones by this London based band featuring drummer Ric Parnell (Atomic Rooster, Spinal Tap…) This is their sought-after sole album, originally released in 1970 and housed in a cover designed by Roger Wootton of Comus. Horse formed in 1968 when former high school friends Rod Roach and Adrian Hawkins started writing songs together. Rod had previously played lead guitar with various groups (included a brief stint with Andromeda). Horse final line-up was established in early 1969 with Adrian Hawkins on vocals, Rod Roach on guitar, Colin Standring on bass and Ric Parnell on drums. Horse started gigging around London, sharing stage with acts like Deep Purple, Joe Cocker and David Bowie, soon establishing a large following due to their exciting live shows. After receiving interest from several record companies, they finally signed with RCA Records. The Horse self-titled album was recorded at Olympic Studios, produced by Rod Roach, and released in 1970. It’s a fantastic example of post-psychedelia and early hard-rock / proto-metal, dominated by Roach’s killer fuzz-wah guitar and Hawkins powerful vocals. Including tracks like the occult themed “The Sacrifice” and more!

Sensational reissue for the first volume of iconic compilation Simla Beat 70. A psych garage manifesto, the record consisted of groups who appeared at the All-India Simla Beat ‘battle of the bands’ contest held in two years (1970 and '71) in Bombay. The annual event and the records were sponsored by The Imperial Tobacco Company. Bands from all around India would compete for first prize. The album - indeed - was not recorded live on the stage but in a primitive makeshift studio using very little overdubbing or sound reinforcement. The sound is generally influenced by the proto-garage western movement of the mid sixties and later became a massive cult for all the 70s rock fans.

A key funk release from 1971, For The People was the 2nd album by interracial soul-rock band led by vocalist Milt Matthews. All the way from Wilson, North Carolina, Milton Ray Matthews was an inspired songwriter in the vein of master Curtis Mayfield and follower Lou Bond. With a series of excellent cover version – BB King ‘The Thrill Is Gone’, The Beatles ‘A Hard Days’ Night’ (stylistically related to the acid r&b Stax records was in charge at the time) and Blind Faith ‘Presence Of The Lord’ - the record is full of acid-blues chops and sensuous numbers. Filling the gap between modern psychedelia and afro-american consciousness, 'For The People' literally ascend to the title of black tinged rock opera.

The re-release of the 2 seminal psych/prog albums by SAN MICHAEL’s, the self-titled (1971) one and Nattåg (1972), overlaps not at all coincidentally with the appearance of Kaipa’s 15th studio album Sommargryningsljus, as the fabular universe of the latter revolves around counterfactual rebirth, that is, becoming (re)born as one is getting older. These 2 evergreen albums, essential for savvy collectors of Scandinavian psych/prog, showcase the smooth progression towards Kaipa’s sonic multiverse, bordering on the porous dividing line between psychedelia (with a Made-in- Sweden pedigree) and European progressive, and driven by Hans Lundin’s ferocious organplaying that alternates between swirling ultra-groovy psychedelia and imposing kraut-ish segments. Both albums, produced by Leif Mases, have been remastered by sound meister Martin Igelström for your maximum audio pleasure, and come in ultra-limited pressings of 200 numbered copies + 2-page insert with bio and rare studio and live photos, in splatter (1st ) and marble (Nattag) vinyl. It was released simultaneously in the United States, Canada, and Japan, and the single ""satori Part 2"" reached number 8 in Canada. Due to the trend of Oriental thought in Europe and America, his works are characterized by incorporating more Eastern and Japanese sounds. Japan at this time was also in the transition period from GS to folk, and there were still few people who accepted rock, but they continue to be supported by their advanced sound. Of course, it is very popular overseas and its popularity is still undiminished.
