Here's our next drop, "Smokey Ways To Chill" by Paris-based producer Aywee Tha Seed. 16 driving tracks full of headnod breaks and drums, always with that certain Aywee groove that we instantly felt in love with when we heard his demo's for the first time. Features are provided by fellow producers Tech Flips, ØDYSSEE and Alcynoos.

“Drivin’ Far Away” is not a way to avoid reality, but a process of going further to find your own paths, especially in harder times. A trip you don’t necessarily need to take alone. B Dom, Brous One and Greco Murillo found the route together in the search of a unique sound, crossing borders and finding travelers with different perspectives along the way.
With “Drivin’ Far Away” the three Chilean artists put together their first EP, a six-song selection with influences that ranges from Jazz, Funk, and Soul to Hip-Hop with a Lo-Fi aesthetic. It all began with Brous One looking for a team of musicians to create the perfect soundtrack to let you feel and release your emotions. A very intimate project with deep sensations and at times sexy feelings.

To round it all up, every single track was remixed by some of the best European producers at the moment. FloFilz, Psalm Trees, Philanthrope & Leavv, Retrogott, Spaze Windu, and Misha gave their own touch and perspective to make a good project even greater.

Seven years after the release of his first solo album Kabul Fire Vol. 1, Hamburg-based producer Farhot is now taking listeners on a journey to his biographical roots with the follow up Kabul Fire Vol. 2. While the previous album already included references to his Afghan homeland, this 13-track album completely centers around the country from which his family had to flee when he was still a kid – musically, but also thematically through the selection of samples and quotes. For the sound of this project, the beat nerd went on memory lane to his family roots in the Middle East, digging up the sounds of his childhood. He also embraced the classic Golden Era sound of hip hop in the 90s, the music of his adolescence. The result: organic hip hop beats with elaborate and dreamy melodies, infused with elements from traditional Afghan music that take you to the dusty streets of Kabul. Figub Brazlevic is one of the most respected instrumental hip hop producers in the world. His boombap bangers paved the way for the renaissance of the new Golden Era sound, especially in Germany, without sounding old-fashioned. In the meantime, the subgenre has developed further and is established under the term Jazzhop. And the maestro himself has also developed, as his new "Kaseta De Ouf" impressively proves. The smooth songs are excellently produced and perfect for relaxing and nodding.
