2 songs from each artist with an alternating front cover. "Dry Water" from Inspiring Thoughts, and "Sashimi" from Syntax Vernac are being released together on digital and vinyl ONLY. No CDs or cassettes will be available for this release, with the first 300 plates pressed on clear yellow vinyl.

After a welcome return from a lengthy hiatus, Dirty Hairy is back behind his MPC with a brand new release on Soul Dynamite records.
For those not in the know, London born scallywag (Mr) Dirty Hairy is a seasoned underground veteran on several jazz rap and funk 45 DJ circuits around the globe.
Whilst backpacking through New Zealand from 2003 - 2005 he was acquainted with a Maori rapper with a fondness for drum breaks by the name of Nat Lover.
10 years later ( and a few beats in between) Hairy moved to New Zealand and set up a recording studio in the lower North Island city of Palmerston North and the 2 began making music together.
After a few small, but nicely packed local gigs it was evident that the vibe they enjoyed creating was an up tempo funky feel with devastating flows and cuts.
Offered up on this 45 is new edition of a track called " Combat "( You might find a very old version of this on You Tube made with an MPC3000) This time around Hairy chops up busy drum break
saved on the trusty MPC 60 floppy disks with some pianos and horns and cuts in between the spaces.
For the flip side the tempo steps up a bit more alongside even funkier flows from Nat. His nod of respect to the early party rockers of Hip Hop is apparent whilst Hairy dips into
some more regional breaks and layers of jazz samples and cuts. A double sided dance floor burner
comprising of two funky joints giving you ' them early early Hip Hop ' feels. This 45 showcases the first of many collaborative efforts between the two ' once dubbed Dirty Lover '.

Ahhh yeaahh – here we have the J57 featuring Meyhem Lauren & Action Bronson “Main Event” joint and remix from 2013 as well as 2 new heaters from J57 featuring Exile, Blu & Blame One and J57 feat. Finding Novyon. There will be 350 copies on ONLY and we get some of the 230 on tradtional black wax.

'Seventy Nine' has been co-signed by DJ Premier, who refers to the merger of Planet Asia and DJ Concept as a 'Win-Win.'
