To celebrate more than 20 years on the road, Laboca, iconic Spanish hip hop duo, releases their new single on Enlace Funk! Laboca takes a retrospective assessment, captures snapshots of the current moment and turns to the implications of being old timers after facing in front of the mirror more than twenty years in the world of rap. After a welcome return from a lengthy hiatus, Dirty Hairy is back behind his MPC with a brand new release on Soul Dynamite records.
For those not in the know, London born scallywag (Mr) Dirty Hairy is a seasoned underground veteran on several jazz rap and funk 45 DJ circuits around the globe.
Whilst backpacking through New Zealand from 2003 - 2005 he was acquainted with a Maori rapper with a fondness for drum breaks by the name of Nat Lover.
10 years later ( and a few beats in between) Hairy moved to New Zealand and set up a recording studio in the lower North Island city of Palmerston North and the 2 began making music together.
After a few small, but nicely packed local gigs it was evident that the vibe they enjoyed creating was an up tempo funky feel with devastating flows and cuts.
Offered up on this 45 is new edition of a track called " Combat "( You might find a very old version of this on You Tube made with an MPC3000) This time around Hairy chops up busy drum break
saved on the trusty MPC 60 floppy disks with some pianos and horns and cuts in between the spaces.
For the flip side the tempo steps up a bit more alongside even funkier flows from Nat. His nod of respect to the early party rockers of Hip Hop is apparent whilst Hairy dips into

"Gunz From Italy" by Realio Sparkzwell, produced by Tone Spliff, is a raw and gritty hip-hop album that oozes with underground flavor. Another highlight of "Gunz From Italy" is the track "Mambo," which features the album's only guest verse by Copywrite of mHZ. The two emcees spit verses over a recognizable Italian classic, showcasing their undeniable rhyme chemistry.

Tone Spliff's production on the album is top-notch, with each beat feeling like an homage to the Italian music and culture which they both come. It's clear that he and Realio Sparkzwell share a strong music-making synergy, with each track complementing the other.

DJ Jazz-T, owner of Boot Records, was the 1999 UK ITF Advancement champion. He has laced cuts on hundreds of tracks since 1995 and produces under the name of Jazz T and Boot Productions, which is Jazz & genius Dr Zygote. He was Tim Dog's tour DJ before he passed away, and he currently DJs for Gawd Status, Jehst, Micall Parknsun, Ramson Badbonez, Leaf Dog & BVA, Joker Starr and Diversion Tactics. Jihad the Roughneck MC started rhyming in the late 80's and was a member of one group before Third Sight (with Dufunk & D-Styles). He is originally from the city of Santa Clara in Northern California, relocating to the Los Angeles area in 2004. He has played shows in California, Nevada, Oregon and toured Japan twice with Third Sight.

Lex Boogie From The Bronx grew up as a kid around the jams in the parks. He carries The Bronx with him wherever he goes. His different chambers of production and raps have seen him work with the likes of Stahhr, Marq Spekt, Boog Brown, Vordul Mega, billy woods, Mike Flo & more. Originally from Brussels, now based in Montreal, Senz' first approach to cutting records up was on a pair of Technics 1200s, which he and his best friend claimed mutual custody over (1 month each) in 1998. After over 15 years spent producing on MPC ("War of the Worlds" was produced on a 2000xl), 2020 saw Senz switch to Koala Sampler app, by Elf Audio. Born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, two-time GRAMMY® Award nominated multiplatinum Compton rapper, songwriter, producer, actor, and entrepreneur. The Game locked down a place in the pantheon alongside greats of both coasts by a combination of bar-for-bar bravado, provocative observation, hard-hitting hooks, and sharp introspection. It not only bowed at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and garnered GRAMMY® nods in the categories of “Best Rap Song” and “Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group,” but it also emerged as a classic avowed by Pitchfork among the “Top 50 Albums of 2005”. The 2006 followup Doctor’s Advocate retained his spot at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and went platinum. Maintaining positions in the Top 10, he ignited a prolific string of blockbuster releases—L.A.X. [2008], The R.E.D. Album [2011], Jesus Piece [2012], Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf [2014], The Documentary 2 [2015], The Documentary 2.5. [2015], and 1992 [2016].
2018 saw a trio of recent singles achieve RIAA certifications with “100” [feat. Drake] platinum and “El Chapo” with Skrillex and “All Eyez” [feat. Jeremih] both gold as his total stream tally exceeded 3 Billion across platforms. Television and film credits span everything from Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! to the upcoming All-Star Weekend directed by Academy® Award winner Jamie Foxx and co-starring Robert Downey Jr. and Benicio del Toro.
