The Tarvas Footwear Explorer is a multi-functional casual design that's bridging the gap between city and outdoor environments. This highly authentic reissue of the adidas Atlanta brings back memories of the early 1980s and all the classic runners that ruled the streets back then. With this running shoe, Norwegian runner Grete Waitz won the New York Marathon in 1983 - the same year, the adidas Atlanta was introduced. This replica revives the original silhouette of the Atlanta with extensive suede overlays as well as an OG colorway, complete with the webbing-wrapped EVA foam midsole. Additional features of the iconic adidas Atlanta include mesh upper with suede overlays, soft and breathable fabric lining, a comfortable, foam-padded sockliner, 3 Stripe apliqués at side walls, plus adidas Trefoil branding at the tongue label and heel patch as well as Atlanta lettering embossed next to the 3 Stripes tapes.
