The first track is a killer dubbed out reversion by intrusion, for the dancefloor or the sofa, this is spaced out sonic submersion of the highest order. There's also 2 beautiful remixes from the brilliant Rod Modell (DeepChord), those touched by his recent output on Soma will have a lot to love here. Gorgeous plumes of sound all lovely mastered and mixed down from 1/4" analog tape, cut and remastered by bazza (Abbey Road Studios) at Alchemy, London. Sublime and beyond deep, another exquisite excursion transmitting from the other side of the galaxy. Pressed onto 160 gram crystal clear wax.

Since meeting in Vienna in 2013, Paul Walter and Frankfurt-born Felix Rupprecht have built a solid friendship that has resulted in equally solid musical collaborations over the years. One of the fruits of this collaboration was "Chitlin Circuits EP", the second release on Paul's Meduka imprint in 2015 — now available on vinyl again.

'Love Me' (a1) and 'Organized' (b1) are exactly what you would expect from all-night jam sessions together: a fusion of Paul's exquisite talent for creating twisted but straightforward minimal grooves and Felix Rupprecht's love for broken beats and electro. The result? A full-bodied, often quirky, mostly cerebral and bold EP of unconventional drum arrangements, quirky bass lines, snappy drums, modular squelches, granular samples and computational synth equations.

Remastered into analogue bliss from the original ampex tape masters conducted at the NSC mastering lab in Detroit by the legendary Ron Murphy (R.I.P.) Recorded from a live session near the heart of Detroit, using countless modular synths, analog devices and custom made effects producing a hypnotic state like no other; tugs right at the heartstrings!

Re-issue of the classic album by Heinrich Mueller. Originally released in the early 00's (2004 to be precise) which basicly was deep into the future for everyone born before 1980. Techno was still about innovation, stepping into the future, going ahead, updated technologies, exploring the new.? Like previous releases Heinrich Mueller takes inspiration from latest technologies and developments. For this album he had support from Biometric systems Gmbh in Bayern, Germany. He was allowed to visit their laboratories and gather information of biometric research (which at that time was the latest developments in human interaction with hi-technology). The results are 11 tracks that are a brilliant abstract reflection of these new technologies and the effective practical use of these techniques in our daily live. Heinrich Mueller takes his musical journey further away from his well-known early Dopplereffekt releases and several side projects and merges those early projects wit h hi-technology applications available for modern studio engineering. The full length album shows the dark emotions and also the energy and positive feelings which come with new technological applications. These 11 tracks are a selection of musical arrangements with and without rhythmical structures. It’s a collection of abstract interpretations and expressions of human emotions during a period of discovering the latest scientifically applications (in general) and finding new information about the possibilities of biometrical identification in 2004. Actually 3 years into the future if we consider 2001 the fruition of the idea of the future for the 70 and 80's generation. And it was just before or maybe even right at the moment that techno music lost its focus on the future and became retrospective. This album is the future.

UK-born producer Luke Standing aka Blue Hour has made a considerable impact since his emergence in 2013. A move from Bristol to Berlin precipitated a run of stellar self-released EPs that immediately won him an ardent following among techno's most revered DJs for a sound that offered a fresh take on classic techno and electronica, while always maintaining a supreme dancefloor functionality. Among those fans was Function, who included an exclusive track from Standing in his Berghain 07 mix and part I of its accompanying 12-inches.

Now Standing's self-titled outlet launches a new remix series, calling on some of those aforementioned fans to offer their own takes on a trio of the standout tracks from his label's first five releases. Ostgut resident Answer Code Request applies the driving hybrid techno-bass approach that has made him one of Berghain's brightest stars to Blue Hour 002 title cut Axis Motive; Paris-based Tresor resident Marcelus offers an ethereal take that focuses on Blue Hour 003's Reference 97's more hypnotic elements; and Ostgut Ton's Steffi is perfectly matched to the third EP's Moments, employing her signature sound that similarly offers a timeless anthemic quality to the original...

DJ Mo Reese excites crowds with his unique brand of House music. A Detroit native, his music is steeped in the tradition of his hometown and blended with his own soulful, funky style.

Influenced by such legends as Dennis Ferrer, Kevin Saunderson, Todd Terry, Derrick May, Roger Sanchez, and Terrence Parker, DJ Mo Reese has entertained around the world for over 25 years. Most recently, he performed at Tresor, in Berlin, Germany and Kitsch in Eindhoven, Netherlands. A crowd of over 100,000 was blown away as he performed his special four turntable set at the Detroit Movement Festival. He banged the box at the Cornerstone Event near Chicago before a crowd of 600+. DJ Mo Reese shined at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, and has been featured on stations WGPR, WJLB and won the Mixidome contest on WHYT. As a performer/producer, DJ Mo Reese inspires audiences with his uplifting and soulful style of House music.

Nearly 15 years have passed since the original release with all tracks lovingly remastered for this new remastered edition; which also includes STL's first ever remix and sounds just as beautiful as the day we first heard it! As Bleep so elegantly stated, "Deep, reduced dub-techno with ethereal production nuances from Stephen Hitchell and Rod Modell. Both original tracks here reveal the duo's obsession with the likes of Maurizio, Basic Channel and Chain Reaction. Features a dreamy, minimal house reduction from STL.

The Hague based producer ''Deniro'' is responsible for the 3rd installment in the ''Oblique Music'' series. This time around the 12'' consists of 4 club cuts that all showcase a different ambiance throughout. Label owner Ben Buitendijk is carefully curating the sound for his recently established imprint and Deniro's (extinct) Penguin inspired package definitely matches with the label's previous escapades.

''Kairaku 1'' is a dubbed out whirlwind which uses emotive drum patterns and hazy reverbs that blend together in the most perfect way and cause for a inspiring atmosphere to occur instantly. ''Kairaku 2'' is a more classic sounding cut which maintains originality through ''Deniro's'' signature drum patterns and the constantly changing chords that make this effort one of the more special ones.

The B side opens up with ''Kairaku 3''. This is again a dubbed out cut that is drenched with percussive sounds that would suit perfect in the more adventurous settings. ''Kairaku 4'' is filled with interesting textures and progresses in a minor but riveting way.

Turbo celebrates the 10th anniversary of Gesaffelstein’s seminal work on the
Montreal-based imprint with a long-awaited repress of all three EPs: Variations,
Conspiracy Pt. 1, and Conspiracy Pt. 2.
Every track on 'Variations' is a battle-tested bomb. Gesaffelstein’s sound is clearly
influenced by New Wave and the Gigolo-era electro (2001-2) of fellow Frenchmen
The Hacker and David Carretta, but it sounds like a fresh update rather than
pastiche, revitalized and refined down to a modern and versatile core. These tracks
work in Tiga's festival sets alongside some of the summer's biggest anthems, yet are
equally at home in a more underground setting, e.g. Von Party's 5am warm-up
before Ivan Smagghe at a London warehouse party.
The title track has the most attitude, establishing a palette of dark staccato basslines,
crunching hi-hats, hands-in-the-air cowbells and trippy synth leads. Selected Faces
and Atmosphere are arguably even more straightforward club weapons, their
breakdowns creating just enough 'insanity' without getting annoying, their grooves
dropping back in with a cool, restrained power that will win over hiss-weary DJs.
With remixes upcoming for Turbo and Institubes, a follow-up EP for Turbo in the
works... if you want an idea as to how big Gesaffelstein will get this year, just think of
him as 'Brodinkelstein.'

Tresor Records is fortunate enough to be sitting on a catalogue of past releases that no other label in electronic
music would turn down. Three of the nest in this collection were contributed by Surgeon: “Basictonalvocabulary”,
“Balance” and “Force + Form” all originally came out on the Berlin institution between 1997 and 1999.
Surgeon’s inimitable combination of Detroit techno and post-industrial sounds emanating from his British
homeland found its fullest expression in these masterful trio of releases on Tresor. Tresor Records have decided
that its high time to give these seminal albums another airing, and will present each in a staggered series of 2LP
represses throughout the year.
“Force + Form” is the last chapter of this re-issue series, centered around Surgeon and represents a turning point
both in the artist’s career as well as for the history of techno music. Tresor117 was remastered in 2015 by Matt
Colton at Alchemy Mastering, London.

With his friendly and sometimes melancholic manner, DJ Koze is one of the most remarkable players in today's club landscape and one of the few internationally active DJs who are also relevant outside of dance music. For his 70-minute journey for the anniversary edition of the "DJ Kicks" series, "Kosi Kos" manages to give the mix its own timbre despite the various styles represented: be it the pared-down hip-hop of Madlib, brutal Berghain techno, timeless songwriting, flowing indie pop and tracks that oscillate between absurdity and melancholy. "I didn't want to shine with knowledge," Koze says, "but rather bring together some gems that make sense to people who aren't necessarily music nerds." It should fit together harmoniously: "The idea was to create the impression of a radio show, like John Peel used to do. A huge cosmos of music rushing through my filter." For the second effort on his very own Oblique imprint, Ben Buitendijk returns to the sound he's only showcased through his well received Promised Land (Mosaic) and a recent remix through Subwax.

This more dubby approach is the general thread in the sophomore Oblique release called ''Past and Present EP''. Generally, this release is threading into deeper territories than it's predecessor but is therefor revealing different sides of the label owner's taste that are maybe being underexposed thus far.

Label head Setaoc Mass returns to his own fledgling SK_Eleven imprint with the much-anticipated Second Chapter EP. True to form, the release deals in bleeps and melodic Sci-Fi indebted elements, yet with a harder impact and a sense of urgency calibrated for the main room floor. B-side cut Thunder Bay ventures into new territory for the artist, diffusing coarse, broken rhythms over ominous call and response synth riffs.
