Label concept Born in April 2014, Midgar is a Berlin based label that aims to bring innovative features into modern techno, and to deliver a new and meaningful sound loaded with positive energy. Leaving the trends behind, Midgar has a wide range of interests spanning from Deep Techno to Ambient and Downtempo. A sound that tells stories as people dance. Artist’s biography Ruhig is the new project of Luigi Cicchella, also known as Audiolouis , Dj/Producer and founder (together with Synthek) of Natch Records, respected techno label based in Berlin. Ruhig (real name Luigi Cicchella) musical background has deep roots in drum and bass, trip hop and ambient, which through the years he naturally extended to techno, but still keeping a really peculiar approach to it. Ruhig debuts on Midgar in 2014 with the deeply atmospheric (mdg002) ‘Lost In The Instability EP’ followed by a remix pack (mdg002x) from the likes of Edit Select, Luigi Tozzi, Wata Igarashi and Synthek. After one year Ruhig comes back on Midgar with a double Ep, which the first installment (MDG005.1) Particles EP is scheduled for mid december 2015.

The Hague based producer ''Deniro'' is responsible for the 3rd installment in the ''Oblique Music'' series. This time around the 12'' consists of 4 club cuts that all showcase a different ambiance throughout. Label owner Ben Buitendijk is carefully curating the sound for his recently established imprint and Deniro's (extinct) Penguin inspired package definitely matches with the label's previous escapades.

''Kairaku 1'' is a dubbed out whirlwind which uses emotive drum patterns and hazy reverbs that blend together in the most perfect way and cause for a inspiring atmosphere to occur instantly. ''Kairaku 2'' is a more classic sounding cut which maintains originality through ''Deniro's'' signature drum patterns and the constantly changing chords that make this effort one of the more special ones.

The B side opens up with ''Kairaku 3''. This is again a dubbed out cut that is drenched with percussive sounds that would suit perfect in the more adventurous settings. ''Kairaku 4'' is filled with interesting textures and progresses in a minor but riveting way.

Dripping Acid is a series of separate 12"s exploring themes of melodic liquid acid. Part 2 of 6 limited releases by the Tin Man!! -- For Tin Man, acid endures. Like the lapping of a sizzling ocean on the shores of a distant planet, the peaks and troughs of expansive 303 basslines have been a constant in the music of the producer born Johannes Auvinen. He dedicated his mid-2000s early period to the sound, and even as his productions have expanded in scope and style - from the vocaltinged techno of Cool Wave, Wasteland and Perfume, to the intricate, classical-leaning compositions of Vienna Blue - he has returned often to Roland's indelible bass synthesizer. His plaintive, searing melodies have anchored Absurd Recordings' venerable Acid Test series since its first release, and they've punched through the mix in the club music of recent collaborations with Gunnar Haslam (Romans), with Cassegrain, and also with John Tejada. So it wouldn't be accurate to call Tin Man's latest project, Dripping Acid, a rededication. Yet his most ambitious project to date - six 12"s comprised only of new acid compositions - embraces the style as wholeheartedly as he ever has. While the brittle machine-music of '80s Chicago is the blueprint of any acid track, Dripping Acid refrains from revivalism, instead looking forward and inward as it harnesses the 303's psychedelic potential through sumptuous production and adventurous composition. When we started Ilian Tape 10 years ago in 2007, we were both basically kids at the ages of 23 (Dario) and 18 (Marco). There was no plan behind it, no concept, no promotion campaign or any budget, but just an early vision of where it could go. We wanted to build something that lasts. After a few years of playing at parties and producing music, it was the next logical step to start a label. You can clearly see us growing up through the label in terms of artwork, compiling the records and handling things. We made some mistakes along the way and there are surely things we could have done better, but looking back after 10 years now it all makes sense as it was a natural and human development with all its ups and downs.??It was always a very personal project, never about making money, but about creating a platform for music we believe in and building relationships with artists in a transparent and fair way. We really appreciate that we were able to work with so many great artists, who shared the same vision and trusted in us, over all the years. Both Roberto and his own Fossil Archive label continue to go from strength to strength. Roberto has consistently delivered at DJ bookings that have seen him return time and again to the likes of Tresor and fabric, while the label has fast become a favourite in DJ boxes and amongst Techno heads.

The label closed 2016 on a high with its first set of remixes from two Techno legends, Sterac and Rolando. And now for the first release of 2017 Roberto is thrilled to draft in the refined skills of Fachwerk’s Roman Lindau. Roberto has of course released on Fachwerk in the past and been featured on the bill on more than one occasion when the Berlin label have taken over Berghain, so Roman is a fitting and very welcome addition to his UK imprint.
Teaming up for ‘Nerinea Trinodosa’ on the A-side, Roman and Roberto’s production styles complement one another perfectly on this solid peak-time offering, bringing a depth and power that continues the Fossil Archive dedication to raw and unfaltering beats.

Roberto then goes it alone for ‘Triage’ on the B-side, a track which was already featured on Alan Fitzpatrick’s recent fabric mix CD. With its tough tribal sound and deep bass, there’s some serious funk in the groove, completing another essential release from the Fossil Archive camp.

Detroit Classic Gallery is a record label based in Buenos Aires, created in 2016 by Juan Ignacio Chiri and Guido Gabriel Sartoris, two young artists presented under the name of "E110101", generating a unique style that refers to Detroit Techno in it’s purest form.
Based on their musical approach and their artistic imprint when creating a record label, Detroit Classic Gallery brings an avant-garde look with reference to genuine roots of the Detroit dance floor.The Detroit Classic Gallery imprint is based on a classic sound, proposing a visionary but retrospective look, that unfolds a range of styles capable of
satisfy the most demanding ears. It works as a bridge between emerging producers and true legendary artists, leaving a faithful mark on it’s participatory link both on vinyl and
digital media.

Their vision is reinforced through amazing illustrations and artwork. Each vinyl release
includes a page from the official Detroit Classic Gallery comic book (also known as “The
Comic”): a fascinating story through the eyes of their two main characters, their rodent pet
and many familiar faces from the scene, that tells a different way of understanding music.
In addition, there will be also exclusive and original videos produced by a specialized
audio visual team.

"Back to Basics" is the first vinyl release of E110101 and a starting point for the Detroit
Classic Gallery. The title chosen by the Argentine duo works in response to a sonorous
disagreement that both share in the direction that Techno music seems to be being
directed. Thanks to this, they have gained the support of two fantastic artists: Orlando
Voorn, undisputed nexus between Detroit - Holland and Santiago Salazar, musician,
producer and fundamental part of “Los Hermanos” and “Galaxy 2 Galaxy”, from
Underground Resistance. "000056" is the dawn of this launch, illuminates a new positive road with warm tones, which delimits the outline of large buildings in Detroit. A hopeful look translates into music through harmony, melody and rhythm, fundamental characteristics of this composition.

"000056 Orlando Voorn" captures the essence of the sun and places it directly on the dance floor. "000052" shows the versatility of which E110101 is capable to. The dark side of the moon,
the other side of the coin, are only adjectives that promise to describe an easily perceived aggressiveness. "000052 Santiago Salazar", reinterpreted through Groove, a smooth and
friendly version for your ears. Hijacked AM recently incorporated E110101 to their booking roster as "Young Promises", sharing a worldwide booking team with renowned artists like DJ Pierre, Paul Johnson, Orlando Voorn, DJ Skull, Four313 (Blake Baxter, Eddie Fowlkes, Santonio Echols,

Expedition 1 is the first cut: a tight drum kit and sub bass frequencies come along resonant sweeps and subtle drones in a non break arrangement that automatically leads to hypnosis.

The Exium duo takes over Expedition 1, reforming the frequencies, working wisely with drones and atmospheres preserving the pulsating feel below. extracting the mental spirit of the track in a continuously evolving structure.

Expedition 2 is a more profound number, low filtered components, again drones and atmos as fundamental ingredient until shuffled hihats add the needed movement to keep things on place.

Expedition 3 fattens the bass, and has a more complex synth approach while preserving the ambiental factor, the elements come in and out of the game wisely creating a profound but still danceable track.

Carl Craig will present an album adaptation of his widely acclaimed "Versus" live performance.

"Versus" originally premiered in 2008, with a live debut at La Cité de La Musique, Paris, where Carl Craig was joined by Les Siècles orchestra conducted by François-Xavier Roth, Moritz von Oswald, and Francesco Tristano, who arranged and orchestrated all the tracks. The performance, one of the first of its kind to combine electronic and classical composition, received five standing ovations and had over one million views online of the original filmed recording. Produced by Carl Craig, the Versus album mixes both orchestral and electronically enhanced versions of Carl Craig’s music in a techno collection of eight tracks adapted for orchestra.
