Passing is the 2021 film directed by Rebecca Hall based on the 1929 novel of the same name by Nella Larsen. “Passing” references African Americans who have skin light enough to be perceived as white which is the case for the two leading women. Set in the 1920s, Passing follows childhood friends Irene and Clare as they reconnect and reckon with the different paths their lives took. Devonté Hynes creates the intimate air throughout the film and paints a love letter to Harlem.

During the maiden voyage into an expansive vat of unreleased music by Polish composer Andrzej Korzynski, Finders Keepers Records originally presented his previously unreleased electro / orchestral / experimental score for Andrzej Zulawski's surrealist '80s horror classic Possession in 2012. These 25 cues were written and recorded exclusively for the 1981 award-winning film starring Isabelle Adjani and Sam Neil, but due to the progressive, stark and modernist nature of the finished film less than half of them made it on to the actual director's cut—leaving many of the tracks on this package totally unheard outside of Korzynski's studio. The intended Possession score in its entirety marks an important axis in Korzynski's career where his various musical disciplines overlap. In one respect it marks his first forays into to synth driven electronics and disco drum machines, while other tracks epitomize the well-honed techniques used in previous Zulawski scores, such as Third Part Of The Night and The Devil, which rely on his inimitable orchestral arrangements and combination of clavinet, Rhodes, piano and electric guitar. Available once again on black 12" vinyl for the first time since its original release some 11 years ago, Finders Keepers' ongoing commitment to the important restoration of Korzynski's music aims to shed new light on the seldom manufactured productions of the composer whose vast cinematic catalogue warrants overdue global status alongside other golden era Eastern European composers such as Kryzstof Komeda, Jan Hammer, and Zdenek Liska—not to mention the best of the French and Italian soundtrackers, such as Roubaix, Vannier, and Nicolai. Duplicated and carefully remastered directly from Korzynski's original master tapes this album boasts the uninhibited studio experiments and retains the pre-cut ambience.

Since its creation in 2007, Hifiklub has led more than 150 collaborations which have allowed the Toulon trio to open its music to multiple artistic experiences revealing a constant desire for research and novelty. From unprecedented encounters to unique projects, Hifiklub has developed over the years a now substantial discography whose musical proposals range from pop to jazz through the most experimental sounds and even traditional music. One path, however, remained unexplored: contemporary music."Last Party On Earth" is organized around the association of three energies: contemporary composer Jean-Michel Bossini, singer Duke Garwood and the instrumental ensemble Hifiklub. Surrounded by mysticism and darkness, the creation has cinematographic dimensions. It positions the listener in a depth and disposition of soul where the voice - and the poetry - of Duke Garwood is carried by Hifiklub and Jean-Michel Bossini around cold and tormented atmospheres. As one of the most triumphant and beguiling directorial debut features to emerge from the fruitful Polish New Wave, Andrzej Żuławski’s 1971 film Third Part Of The Night not only earned the thirtyyear- old filmmaker a place next to other radical Polish directors such as Polanski, Skolimowski and Has, but also galvanised a creative bond with long running collaborator and composer Andrzej Korzyński, providing fans of foreign abstract/suspense cinema with a potent creative fusion to match those of Polanski/Komeda, Fellini/Rota, Argento/Goblin…

Featuring one of the heaviest psych rock movie theme tunes of all time, Andrzej Korzyński’s short and unreleased score matched the blueprint that adorned the drawing boards of conceptual French jazz orch rock composers like Jean-Claude Vannier, François de Roubaix and Alain Goraguer, creating a soundtrack that unknowingly begs comparison to Masahiko Satô’s Belladonna of Sadness and Billy Green’s Stone. As one of the first progressive pop writers to come out of the vibrant (but carefully scrutinised) Polish beat scene with his bands Ricecar 64 and later Arp Life (and composing for national heroes such as Czesław Niemen, Niebiesko-Czarni and Test) Korzyński’s growing passion for conceptual rock and jazz music soon led to instrumental composition and soundtrack scores. His cinematic debuts scoring two consecutive transitional new wave films for Andrzej Wajda (in collaboration with the radical Polski pop groups Trubadurzy and Grupa Abc) also provided Korzyński with another significant cinematic muse in that of the stunning actress Małgorzata Braunek, with whom they would both eventually achieve their finest performances under the direction of the ravenous first timer Żuławski. Third Part Of The Night (1971) perhaps epitomises that triangular on-screen unison in its vibrant youth and feeds it through a hallucinogenic mangle finding astonishing beauty (within a repulsive synopsis) against a bleak and shattered backdrop and accompanied by progressive, psychedelic orchestral rock music – elements which would intensify for all three creatives with the next film Diabeł, which was banned by the Polish government the following year until 1988. Third Part Of The Night also marks the public unison of Żuławski and Braunek whose later private romantic relationship is said to form the basis for another defining Żuławski/Korzyński endeavour with the 1981 film Possession exactly a decade later, encapsulating a period that bequeaths a previously unopened vault of some of the the composers finest and most inspired sonic adventures.

Cave Interactive CO., LTD., in collaboration with Limited Run Games and Brave Wave Productions, is proud to unveil the 19th entry in the Generation Series of video game soundtracks, DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou The Definitive Soundtrack for CD and vinyl. Originally released for Arcade (2012) and on Xbox 360 (2013) in Japan, DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou is the latest arcade release in the DoDonPachi series in the legendary hardcore bullet-hell shoot-’em-up franchise, long respected by dedicated players for its frantic action and rewarding gameplay. The soundtrack features 13 memorable songs by acclaimed Japanese game composer Manabu Namiki. Whether players are scrolling through a relatively simple section or fighting for survival as they’re assaulted by enemies on all sides, this gem of a soundtrack is seeing its first release outside of Japan for the first time on physical formats.

Zelda & Chill 2 features new remixes from Nintendo's beloved Legend of Zelda franchise. Mikel returns with instrumental arrangements of classic and modern Zelda music, and his signature lofi hip hop beats.

How To Train Your Dragon 2 was composed by John Powell, who has created the archetype for modern animation scoring. This soundtrack has never had a standard vinyl release, much less this deluxe edition which will be presented across two LP’s in a gatefold jacket and pressed on red mult-color splatter vinyl, in keeping with the theme of the green multi-color splatter on the How To Train Your Dragon 1 LP release, which was also produced exclusively for RSD in 2021. As with the first soundtrack, the theme song of the second film is done by Jonsi from the Icelandic band, Sigur Ros, and is unavailable anywhere else.

Carrion has emerged from the depths.

By popular request, we are releasing Cris Velasco's complete soundtrack to Carrion on vinyl. The game is a nightmarish subversion of the science fiction/horror genre, and the soundtrack is full of creeping dread and otherworldly terror. Naturally, we designed the vinyl album to be both beautiful and dark.

Only five songs here were featured prominently in Quentin Tarantino's rousing crime film ("Little Green Bag," "Hooked on a Feeling," "I Gotcha," "Stuck in the Middle with You," and "Coconut"), but the record includes Steven Wright's introductions from the film, as well as Tarantino's infamous interpretation of the meaning of Madonna's "Like a Virgin" and Harvey Keitel's monologue on how to rob a jewelry store. Padding out the rest of the disc are three new songs that were heard in passing in the film.

This limited edition of 500 units, pressed on audiophile 180 GM blood-red and black splatter, has been produced, restored and specially mastered for vinyl by Chris Malone.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of She’s The One, we are releasing a remixed, remastered and re-imagined version of this album. The original album included several songs that were left off the original Wildflowersalbum (recently included as the "All The Rest" disc in the "Wildflowers & All The Rest" re-issue), so this re-release is an appropriate ending to the campaign celebrating the Wildflowers-era.

Ryan Ulyate (Tom’s long time engineer and producer) has remixed the audio, and the song selection is designed to work as aTom PettyAnd The Heartbreakers album, rather than a soundtrack album. Four unreleased tracks have been added; the rocker “105 Degrees” (written by Petty), a cover of JJ Cale’s “Thirteen Days”, “One of Life’s Little Mysteries” (another Petty original), and an instrumental (“French Disconnection”) in the same vein as the instrumentals on the original album. An extended version of “Supernatural Radio” is also included.

The new title is a reference to one of the stand-out tracks on the album, for which there will be a video. The new album will have brand new artwork, and this version will replace the existing physical versions of "She’s The One."

Original Motion Picture Soundtrack / 140g. My Little Pony: A New Generation galloped its way onto Netflix with critical acclaim 9/24/21 and the music is an integral part of the film. The film earned the #1 spot in the Kids section on Netflix in 86 markets globally and the #1 spot for all movies regardless of genre/demographic in 20 countries. The first week of release, the soundtrack amassed over 25,000 Shazams and 3 million streams across DSPs. Its first vinyl release, on opaque purple vinyl, is for RSD Black Friday 2022.

The soundtrack features seven original songs varying across genres, with pony characters voiced by Vanessa Hudgens, Kimiko Glenn, James Marsden, and Sofia Carson. Original songs include “It’s Alright,” written and produced by Parisi and performed by teen heartthrob Johnny Orlando, and “Together” written and produced by Aaron Pearce and performed by Callie Twisselman. The soundtrack was executive-produced by Grammy Award-winner Ron Fair (Christina Aguilera, Keyshia Cole, Lady Gaga, Fergie, etc) and features four songs written by composers/lyricists Alan Schmuckler and Michael Mahler (Diary of a Wimpy Kid). The first single, “Glowin’ Up,” was written by Jenna Andrews (co-writer of the biggest song of the year, Bts’ “Butter”), and produced by Fair, with vocals by Sofia Carson.

Sega and Laced Records have formed a pact to present the music of Yakuza 0 (Ryū ga Gotoku Zero: Chikai No Basho) on vinyl.

The double LP set features 27 remastered tracks picked by the Yakuza team. Two heavyweight 180g LPs in light blue and green will come in printed inner sleeves, all housed in a wide-spined outer sleeve.

The game’s vibrant soundtrack includes a modern — yet often ‘80s-inflected — blend of pop, rock, and electronic dance styles. The vast array of composition and production talent was led by long-time Sega composer Hidenori Shoji.

Sacred Bones Records celebrates its 15th year anniversary by repressing this incredible debut by the one and only master of horror on vortex blue vinyl. John Carpenter has been responsible for much of the horror genre's most striking soundtrack work in the fifteen movies he's both directed and scored. The themes can instantly flood his fans' musical memory with imagery of a menacing shape stalking a babysitter, a relentless wall of ghost-filled fog, lightning-fisted kungfu fighters, or a mirror holding the gateway to hell. The music on Lost Themes is there for Carpenter's acolytes to visualize their own nightmares. As is Carpenter's style, repetition is the key to the thundering power of these tracks, their energy swirling with shredding chords, soaring organs, unnerving pianos and captivating percussion. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) is based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man and the fourth Spider-Man film produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Entertainment. Directed by Marc Webb, the film follows Peter Barker (Andrew Garfield) who is bitten by a genetically altered spider and gains newfound, spider-like powers. He ventures out to save the city from the machinations of a mysterious reptilian foe. The score is composed by James Horner. The American composer was known for the integration of choral and electronic elements and his frequent use of motifs associated with Celtic music. He established himself as an eminent film composer with his work on Avatar (2009), Braveheart (1995) and Titanic (1995). The latter is also the best-selling orchestral film soundtrack ever. Horner received a total of 2 Academy Awards and was nominated for an additional eight Oscars. The Amazing Spider-Man is available as a limited edition on translucent blue & red marbled vinyl. One Night in Miami is a 2020 American drama film directed by Regina King (in her feature directorial debut), from a screenplay by Kemp Powers, based on his stage play of the same name.

It had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 7, 2020 and was the first film directed by an African-American woman to be selected in the festival’s history. It received overwhelmingly positive reviews, with critics praising King’s direction, the performances and the writing.

It is scheduled to be released in a limited release on December 25, 2020, followed by digital streaming on Prime Video on January 15, 2021

It was inevitable that a successful game like Darius would receive a sequel, and in 1989 lucky gamers were treated to Darius II cabinets in their arcades. It has since gone on to become a fan favourite, and rightly so: you can’t mention scrolling shooters without mentioning Darius II.The game was ported over to gaming consoles in Japan the following year, and reached U.S. shores in 1991, under the title Sagaia, with a re-arranged soundtrack and different level layouts. But for purists the arcade version remained top dog, and it is with this in mind that we have pressed the original arcade version soundtrack for Darius II onto vinyl, making this its debut on the format!
