Mondo’s Batman – Original Motion Picture Score returns as a collector’s box set, featuring new vinyl variants bundled with DC’s Batman ‘89, a brilliant continuation of the story by screenwriter Sam Hamm, Joe Quinones, and Leonardo Ito. The box set comes in a newly designed clamshell with artwork by series artists Quinones and Paolo Rivera. And of course, the soundtrack boasts Danny Elfman's iconic score conducted by Shirley Walker, liner notes by John Takis and original art by Killian Eng.

Samurai Champloo Music Record: Departure is a soundtrack album, originally released on June 23, 2004. It is the second of four soundtrack albums released for the show. The album was produced by Japanese DJ / producer Nujabes, and American MC/producer Fat Jon, and featured Japanese rapper Shing02 and Japanese singer-songwriter MINMI on the album’s first and last tracks, respectively. Departure was critically lauded and is the best known album from the series, with especially high praise being reserved for “Battlecry”.

The music of the Samurai Champloo anime series was created by a group of producers: Japanese hip-hop producer Tsutchie of the rap group Shakkazombie, American hip-hop producer & emcee Fat Jon of the rap group Five Deez, Japanese hip-hop producer Nujabes, and Japanese DJ & production duo Force Of Nature. The music genre is primarily instrumental hip-hop.

The previous soundtrack release for the film only contained 4 of the 12 songs The Jeff Healey Band recorded and performed in the film itself - this album features all of those songs plus another 7 (!) recorded for those sessions but never before unearthed... until now. Painstakingly restored by Roger Costa and the Jeff Healey estate, this is a love letter to Jeff Healey and his incredible talents as well as the film's long legacy in equal measure.

Featuring an 8 page booklet with comprehensive liner notes and oral history compiled by Roger Costa, never before seen behind the scenes photos from the estate of Jeff Healey as well as photographs by Peter Sorel. Package design and layout by Mo Shafeek.

Magnificent music is what takes an RPG from “great” to “one of the classics,” and one thing’s for sure: Sabotage Studio understands what makes the classics. On top of their in-house composer Eric W. Brown working full time on the brilliant music for their modern RPG opus Sea of Stars, they enrolled Yasunori Mitsuda as a guest composer. Anything less than a legendary score simply wouldn’t do.

We at iam8bit are humbled to play a part in bringing that score to life, here for you. This is the Sea of Stars 2xLP, a veritable epic on Solar Orange and Lunar Blue wax. It’s the score to Sea of Stars, with all the swelling highs, whimsical diversions, and touching twists present in the game, forever enshrined on vinyl for your home listening pleasure. Put it on to focus on work or just relax after a long day of grinding.

And of course, no iam8bit album would be complete without stunning cover art. Bryce Kho’s character design is as stunning as the music itself; simple, yet immediately evocative and recognizable - just the way a modern classic should be.

IO Interactive and Laced Records signed a contract in blood to bring Jesper Kyd’s incredible Hitman scores to (frighteningly sharp) vinyl.

As the Hitman development team continued to evolve the tone of the games, so too did Jesper Kyd evolve the music. Hitman: Blood Money saw Jesper write a masterful score performed by the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and Hungarian Radio Choir, adding numerous electronic elements to create a perfectly blended hybrid soundtrack.

On electronic cues — such as the deeply groovy “Vegas” — his percussive-yet-melodic signature sound shines through; while his symphonic and choral writing are highlighted on cues including “Apocalypse”, “Hunter” and “Silent Invasion”. Blood Money’s score was nominated for an MTV VMA Award and won IGN’s Best Original Score Award.

All music has been specially remastered and will be pressed to heavyweight vinyl discs. These will be housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with brand new illustrations.

Joe Hisaishi's second album for Deutsche Grammophon is a collection of classical works that focuses on his finely honed technique and sensitivity as a classical composer and conductor. Symphony No. 2," premiered in Kyoto in 2021, was recorded for the first time in the world by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Musikverein under Hisaishi's direction. The world premiere recording of "Viola Saga" features renowned viola soloist Antoine Tamestit. It is also the lead track of this album and has been highly acclaimed since its premiere in Japan in 2022.

Kuniaki Haishima is a Japanese composer best known for creating the soundtrack to the anime Monster. In addition to his contribution to Monster, Haishima has also composed music for TV series (Terra Formars and S-CRY-ed) and films (Tokyo Tribe and Helter Skelter).

Very Ok Vinyl opens the portal to find out with Steins;Gate Original Soundtrack. This 2009 Visual Novel game developed by Mages spins the story of Okabe Rintaro after he receives a text message from the future and the ripple of change that creates. This soundtrack covers all the emotions of Okabe’s epic adventure of past, present, and future, to change it back. We dare you to travel through the fast-paced synth, heart-felt piano, harpsichord, and suspenseful orchestral strings. Original soundtrack to the zany year 2000 classic anime series, FLCL, produced by GAINAX (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gunbuster). The series gained a cult amongst western audiences following after a 2003 broadcast on the US "Adult Swim" programming block and features iconic tracks from Japanese alternative rock band, The Pillows.

The original soundtrack of the anime Bleach (2004 series) is now available on analogue vinyl.

Waxwork Records is proud to present the Lovecraft Country Soundtrack From The HBO Original Series by Laura Karpman and Raphael Saadiq.

Lovecraft Country is an American horror drama television series based on and serving as a continuation of the 2016 novel of the same name. The series follows a young black man who travels across the segregated United States in the 1950’s in search of his missing father, learning of dark secrets plaguing a town on which famous horror writer H.P. Lovecraft based the location of many of his fictional tales.. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome the racist horrors of Jim Crow era America and terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback novel.

Showrunner Misha Green asked composers Laura Karpman and Raphael Saadiq to capture a sound she coined ‘gothic R&B,’ which the pair flawlessly produced, combining influences from J Dilla, 1960’s string work, & 18th century classical. Karpman describes the score as “the Twilight Zone meets Raphael Saadiq.”

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Karpman and Saadiq faced many challenges creating the score, but agree that ultimately, they wouldn’t have gotten the extraordinary sound they achieved had they undergone the traditional recording process. To achieve the full orchestra sound the creators wanted during the height of the pandemic, each member of the orchestra had to learn how to use pro-tools in order to record themselves while isolating in their own homes all over the world. To ensure the best sound quality, everything was close-miked, giving the score period authenticity by using the same techniques composers like Bernard Hermann (Psycho, Taxi Driver)l & Jerry Goldsmith (Planet of the Apes) would have used in the 1950’s and 60’s. Additionally, the musicians had no conductor, so Karpman relied heavily on music notation to achieve ‘aleatoric music’ or ‘chance music,’ which is usually attained directly from conductor cues.

Originally released in 1989, Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes marks the beginning of Nihon Falcom’s Long-running turn-based RPG series “The Legend of Heroes”.

The soundtrack to Dragon Slayer VI Legend of Heroes as a whole is more relaxed and light-hearted in contrast to its other role-playing game contemporaries that Nihon Falcom released on the PC-88. From the relaxing themes of “Town” that instill a sense of peace and safety and the music of “Ship” accompanying you as you sail across the sea.

The PlayStation soundtrack for “To Heart,” one of Aquaplus' historic masterpieces of visual novels and a school love AVG that recently surprised fans with a new production announcement, is now available on a heavyweight analog vinyl record! The original “To Heart” game was released in 1997, followed two years later by the PlaySyation version in 1999, and then by various media mixes, including anime and comic book adaptations, which have made “To Heart” an explosively popular work. The songs are all distinctive and memorable without feeling old, having been released in the 90s, and each song brings to mind a scene from the game as it plays.

All frequent collaborators of Refn’s, the composing trio have infused the series with a synth-heavy, electronic soundscape befitting the neon-drenched journey through Denmark’s dark underworld.

Wilbert Roget, II is a veteran composer in the video game and film industries. He later became a freelance writer, scoring Mortal Kombat 1, Star Wars: Outlaws, Call of Duty: WWII, the Emmy Award-winning Star Wars: Vader Immortal, and many other high-profile game scores. He has also written for Japanese anime, scoring the upcoming Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance. His work has earned him several awards and nominations from ASCAP, the Game Audio Network Guild, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (D.I.C.E. Awards), and others. Roget also co-founded Impact Soundworks, a successful music software company, and is an accomplished lecturer on game music. He frequently gives online masterclasses and tutorials on music composition and production and has a passion for teaching the craft. He is an avid multi-instrumentalist, performing solo flute, keyboards, world instruments, and guitar on many of his scores.
