Glass weaves together the unforgettable narratives of Unbreakable and Split in one explosive comic-book thriller. Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, known also by his pseudonym Mr. Glass. James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within him, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast. Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men. The film also stars Sarah Paulson as psychiatrist Dr. Ellie Staple.

Composer West Dylan Thordson reunited with Shyamalan for the Glass score. “I wanted to find sounds that felt brittle and sharp,” Thordson said. “Violin and metal percussion became clear voices for me to build from. Mainly, I wanted the combination of melody and dissonance in Glass to play to Elijah’s thrilling and playful energy. The longer gnarled sounds combined with the pristine orchestral elements seemed to work well to represent the melding of light and dark. To me, the score for Glass is largely about discovery and acceptance.”

West Dylan Thordson is an American film music composer. He is best known for his original scores to Joy, The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, Foxcatcher, and M. Night Shyamalan's Split and Glass.

We know that sounds hyperbolic, but even before our test pressings arrived, it was one of our most listened to albums on Spotify of the last 6 months. It’s that good. Ubisoft turned to award-winning electronic music artist Simon Delacroix aka The Toxic Avenger to soundtrack the 2022 season of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege European League. In league with Enchanté Records, we’re bringing six bangers to wax with the Breach EP.

The release is the culmination of a season-long collaboration that saw Delacroix apply his uncompromising sonic mastery of electronic music to trailers and broadcasts for fans to enjoy during their weekly Siege esports rendezvous.

Breach features three original tracks (“Robots Do It Better”, “Pulse”, and “A Really Big Fucking Hole”); a special treatment of Paul Haslinger’s Siege main theme; and two electro ‘reworks’ of existing Siege original soundtrack music (“Celestial Concerto” and “A Finishing Action”.)

Tracks will be mastered for vinyl by magicien sonique Joe Caithness and pressed onto a heavyweight LP in ‘toxic yellow’. This will come in a deluxe card sleeve with spot gloss UV effect, which will also include an art print insert.

Original sleeve illustrations featuring operators Mute, Montagne and Thermite are by French comic book artist RUN of Label 619 (Mutafukaz.)

“Gli Intoccabili” (The Untouchables) is a particular semi-unknown movie that belongs to a very crowded underground panorama made of international productions realized between the '60's and the '70's. Some few lucky ones immediately became 'instant classics', while many others remained in some dusty closed drawer for years, just to be rediscovered lately and being considered a cult. To this second category belongs this film directed by Giuliano Montaldo in the US and screened for the first time on April 1969. The cast is stellar, with a newborn Peter 'Lieutenant Columbo' Falk, John Cassavetes (who had just worked on Rosemary's Baby), Gena Rowlands and Florinda Bolkan as the main characters. The music is written by the omnipresent Ennio Morricone, who fluently moves from the western genre to the police/thriller one, making this one of his most varied works. As in the western field, we find here also one sung track about the main character, "La ballata di Hank McCain", while the rest of the soundtrack toggles between symphonic/epic moments and tensive/dissonant ones, going through more mellow and lounge atmospheres. These remarks make “Gli Intoccabili” an album that can be listened to in it's entirety without necessarily being linked to the images of the movie. One of many hidden gems by Morricone.

Split, a terrifying, breakneck thriller, centers on Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), a man with dissociative identity disorder whose more sinister personalities (collectively known as The Horde) kidnap three teenage girls. The plan is to feed the “impure” girls to another of Crumb’s personalities, a superhuman creature known as The Beast. The final girl, Casey Cooke (Anya Taylor-Joy) is spared because The Beast sees scars covering Casey’s body, markers of child-hood abuse. Because Casey, unlike the other girls, has suffered, her heart is pure. “Rejoice,” The Beast tells her. “The broken are the more evolved.”

The Split score, by West Dylan Thordson, became the first collaboration between Shyamalan and the composer. Sonic, sinister and foreboding, the music was unlike any recorded for a film before. “I started by recording several loose takes of some simple harmonic bowing ideas with a cellist and violinist,” Thordson said. “The intention was to heavily modulate the captured sounds. While playing around with an idea in the past, I’d accidentally captured something like this and wanted to explore it more. The resulting sound was extremely chaotic, unpredictable, and scary. It felt haunted and seemed to capture the otherworldly, tortured, animalistic quality I was looking for. I wanted it to feel like “Jaws,” foreshadowing the existence of this malevolent being.”

After a decade of creating pioneering puppet series made for children, Gerry & Sylvia Anderson took their first steps into live-action, with the 1969 feature film Doppelgänger (re-titled outside Britain as Journey To The Far Side Of The Sun). This science-fiction film approached its outer space subject matter with a gritty realism, and would set the tone for what was to be their first live-action television series: UFO. This new series took as a starting point the pioneering work of Dr Christiaan N. Barnard, the surgeon who performed the world’s first heart transplant operation. In UFO a dying race of aliens travel across vast distances of space to harvest organs from human beings to help ensure their own survival. To combat this threat the United Nations created SHADO, a top-secret organisation utilising the latest technology available to defend the Earth. To complement the series, the Andersons frequent musical collaborator Barry Gray created a multifaceted score that gave the programme its own musical identity. Elegantly crafted and a firm favourite with Barry Gray fans, the sound of UFO, particularly its ethereal “World Music” closing credits is, quite simply, a joy. Includes a bonus track, Trampoline performed by The Spencer Davis Group from the episode Ordeal.

Directed by Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel) and scored by Nathan Barr (True Blood, Cabin Fever), The House With A Clock In Its Walls is a 2018 dark fantasy film based on the 1973 novel of the same name by John Bellairs. The film follows a young boy (Owen Vacarro) who, after his parents are killed in a car accident, is sent to live with his uncle Jonathan (Jack Black) in a mysterious, old creaky house. He soon learns that his uncle is a warlock, their neighbor (Cate Blanchett) is a witch, and that the house was previously inhabited by a sinister wizard (Kyle MacLachlan).

BMI Award Winning composer Nathan Barr returns to work with Eli Roth for the dark, yet whimsical score to The House With A Clock In Its Walls. Previous collaborations between the composer and director include Cabin Fever, Hostel, and Hostel: Part II. The thematic, haunting score features a 34 piece string ensemble, an 11 piece brass ensemble, and features a newly restored Wurlitzer pipe organ which was previously housed at the 20th Century Fox scoring stage from the 1920’s until the mid-1990’s.

Digitmovies is releasing the LP and CD of the OST from the film “Blackie the Pirate” (original title: “Il Corsaro Nero”). Blackie the Pirate is a fictional character created by the Italian writer Emilio Salgari. The character has appeared in various films throughout the years. The composer Gino Peguri (author of soundtracks for movies like “Bloody Pit of Horror," "Seven Magnificent Pistols", "A Woman on Fire", "Psychopath," "Code Name, Red Roses") wrote an orchestral score for "Blackie the Pirate" which was released in 1971 on a rare LP from RCA (SP 8035) and a rare single Cormorano (ZC 50180). For this CD re-release we were able to find the stereo master tapes from the original album and the complete master tapes from the original recording sessions which include both stereo and mono mixes. In addition to the 12 stereo tracks on the album, we have added nine alternate tracks in stereo and five alternate tracks in mono. This OST is dominated by the fun pop-sounding song in the opening credits called "Orza qui poggia lì," performed by Paolo Ferrara and accompanied by the chorus of Nora Orlandi. For the LP version we brought back the 1971 LP with the addition of the English version of "Orza qui poggia lì” as well as the film version of the track "In the Caribbean" and two alternative versions on side B. Available on CD or LP+CD limited editions of 300 copies.

Shelter Press extend a quietly cine-poetic invitation to visit the Outer Hebrides via immersive sounds - field recordings of psalm singing and local dialect - collected and arranged by interdisciplinary artist Joshua Bonnetta, going hand-in-hand with Shelter Press’ core interests in the fading light of its 10th year in operation. A beautiful artefact - complete with 60 page photobook - Riyl Francisco López, Chris Watson, Salm.

Accompanied by an evocative photo study and access to an accompanying film and essay, Bonetta’s second release for Shelter Press following 2016’s ‘Lago’ imparts a real feel for the archipelago, off the north west coast of Scotland, where he was stationed during an artist’s residency during 2017-2019. Stitched together from observant field recordings and interviews with residents on the islands of Barra, Berneray, Harris, Lewis & North Uist, the work elicits a sense of timelessness in its slow drift between shores, hills, standing stones and the intimacy of its voices, including Gaelic spoken word, folk song and whistling. Save for the appearance of a plane overhead, the sounds of car and boat motors, plus a little bit of electronic disturbance that pull you into the modern era; the results practically imagine what it would have been like to visit the islands with a recording device at any point since the last ice age.

For Bonetta, who hails from rural Canada, the similarities between his formative landscapes and those of Scotland must have appeared familiar, perhaps a subconscious recall/reminder that the two places shared a landmass, albeit 425 million years ago. His sound sensitive subtlety and cinematic ear in arranging his collected sounds serves to highlight the way the modern world only just infringes on Innse Gall’s ancient landscapes and only relatively modern tongues (if we’re thinking in geologic terms of scale). We hear the sounds of its avian population seamlessly eliding its humans in the whistling of Alick Macauley, and the natural cadence of of its mild oceanic climate mirrored in lilting Gaelic folksong, here performed by Calum McDonald, Joey Morrison, and Maggie Smith, and more generally practiced by only a tiny percentage of Scotland’s population (some 1%) but still surely alive in its meridian isles where time moves much more slowly.

With the nuance and poetry expected of a Shelter Press title, ‘Innes Gall’ reflects on the area’s anglicised name, meaning “islands of the strangers”, with calming, soberly documentarian results as heartwarming and fascinating as a visit to the area, just without the effort of travel, and from the comfort of your own living space. Bonnetta is incapable of ignoring the cinematic frame, and intersperses each shot with enough poetry to keep you entranced.

Originally released in December 2002, Glass's score to the Academy Award-winning film was itself nominated for an Academy Award, as well as a Golden Globe and a Grammy, and went on to win a BAFTA and a Classical BRIT. Philip Glass' score was conducted by Nick Ingman, with Michael Reisman on piano and the Lyric Quartet, and recorded at Abbey Road Studios and Air Studios, London. The score was a key element in this acclaimed triptych of dramatic tales.

A Banquet is a visually arresting, slow-burning psychological horror that uses subtle supernatural elements to create tension within a family in the midst of a breakdown, exploiting the complicated bond between three generations of mothers and daughters. Variety likens it to Lars Von Tries’ Melancholia and Jeff Nichol’s Take Shelter. ‘A Banquet’ sees composer CJ Mirra reunite with Scottish director Ruth Paxton for this her feature length debut following their festival favorite BBC short Be Still My Beating Heart, in Ruth’s words:

“CJs score for A Banquet is an expression of luxurious tragedy. The work is evocative, menacing and beautifully haunting all at once. A lingering body of powerful compositions: the work is not only exquisitely atmospheric, but definitive of the film itself. I treasure my director-composer partnership with CJ and his fundamental contribution to our film’s unique identity”

For the score, which includes some production by Dan Carey and vocals by One Little Independent’s Tusks, Mirra utilised a rare a synthesiser called a Swarmatron and a 70s synth called Synthi, played through guitar amps for percussive and rhythmic elements. Mirra also experimented with woodwind in an unconventional way, both elements create the suffocating and anxious atmosphere that the film delivers.

Mirra says of the film, “A Banquet’ is not a straight up horror film. There's elements of the genre, but we wanted the music to really keep a sense of constant anxiety, of never feeling settled, even if the main focus is on beauty or tenderness. The film is visually laced with so much texture and we wanted to reflect that in the instrumentation.”

Directed by Patrice Romme, THE Devil's Nightmare was an Italian-Belgian production and featured main performers Jean Servais alongside a sensual Erika Blanc; also worthy of note is the disturbing presence of the graceful and filiform silhouette of Daniel Emilfork in the role of Satan. The film's components are typical of the Euro-horror genre of the time: a Gothic castle, eroticism, and bloody murders…all in a spectral and dense photograph. It is the music of Maestro Alessandro Alessandroni, who needs no introduction, to indelibly mark the listener, starting with the hypnotic, psychedelic opening theme to which the harpsichord and his faithful Fender Stratocaster add the acid and fuzz, overlapping the silly wordless vocals of his companion Giulia De Mutiis. Reuniting with director Julia Docouranu (he also scored Raw) and hot on the heels of his outstanding work on last year's Possessor, Williams once again proves that he is one of the very best composers working today. His work here is, at times, cold, pulsating and ominous. However, these pieces are interspersed with tender passages that offer glimmers of hope, shining through in the form of warm tones and intricate melodies.

Williams said, 'The score for Titane grows from a short theme for a scene where the protagonist leaves home in startling circumstances. Initially in a contemporary popular music style with a tinge of John Barry, later this was set with metal percussion and male voice choir using the Neapolitan Minor for a scene set in a car. As the film develops, the theme takes on an emotional, darker twist.' Williams continued, 'The main theme for the film ['Sarabande'] is finally set in a Baroque style – a sarabande – that at first has the pomp of George Frideric Handel, but that later becomes tender, if rather twisted.'

Starring James Fox as a British gangster on the run who finds refuge in the home of reclusive ex-rock star Mick Jagger, Donald Cammell and Nicolas Roeg's Performance is one of the great cult movies of the 1970s. The film's soundtrack, produced by Jack Nitzsche for Warner Bros., is equally noteworthy. Needless to say, the Rolling Stones connection is strong; the Jagger-sung single "Memo From Turner" was co-written with Keith Richards, and vocalist Merry Clayton (famous as the duet partner on "Gimme Shelter") appears on three tracks. About Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Directed by David Blue Garcia, the film centers on Melody (Sarah Yarkin), her teenage sister Lila (Elsie Fisher), and their friends Dante (Jacob Latimore) and Ruth (Nell Hudson), head to the remote town of Harlow, Texas to start an idealistic new business venture. But their dream soon turns into a waking nightmare when they accidentally disrupt the home of Leatherface, the deranged serial killer whose blood-soaked legacy continues to haunt the area’s residents — including Sally Hardesty (Olwen Fouéré), the sole survivor of his infamous 1973 massacre who’s hell-bent on seeking revenge. After 2 years of absence from our catalogue we are glad to reveal we are close to release a new edition of Fabio Frizzi’s fans most beloved horror score, Zombi 2, with the American title of Zombie Flesh Eaters, a project we are developing since five years! Since ever paired with Un gatto nel cervello, now finally alone in a version that is gifted with unreleased material which was recorded in a tape found in an old Ribot archive. One of the holy grails in our catalogue, since ever bitterly loved, because of its shortness: even if the older version featured a good portion of the score, it was largely incomplete. With the addition of the material transferred from this extra tape, and with the song There’s no matter, which can be heard at the beginning of the movie, when the two protagonists investigate the sequestered ship, we can attest this is the definitive edition of this outstanding soundtrack which marks a significant style evolution of the Maestro, aside the growth of his artistic relationship with Lucio Fulci. In this edition we offer the score on CD in a deluxe hardpaper box with the insane artwork by Graham Humphreys, both on the box and on the 40 pages book inside, slim jewelcase with a maxi inlay featuring the iconic photographic poster of the time and a crazy black and white artwork by Alexandros Pyromallis. Gun line is complete with liner notes by Antonella Fulci, Fabio Frizzi and Daniele De Gemini, mastering by Enrico De Gemini.

Released in 2009, Rob Zombie’s Halloween II is an American slasher film written, directed, and produced by Rob Zombie. The film is a sequel to Zombie’s 2007 reimagining of 1978’s Halloween and the tenth installment in the Halloween franchise starring Tyler Mane as Michael Myers, Malcolm McDowell as Dr. Sam Loomis, Sheri Moon Zombie, Scout Taylor-Compton, and Brad Douriff. The film picks up where the 2007 film ended and then jumping ahead one year. Halloween II follows Laurie Strode as she deals with the aftermath of the previous film’s events, Dr. Loomis trying to capitalize on those events by publishing a book that chronicles the events, and Michael Myers as he continues his search for Laurie so he can reunite with his sister.

Digitmovies is proud to release on LP the OST by Ennio Morricone: "Noi lazzaroni" (aka "We Rascals”). Ennio Morricone has composed a very "rural" score with the sounds, that represent the life of the protagonist. Although integrated within modern society, the soul of this man is always directed to his past, to his land, to the teachings of his father which he could never leave behind. This adherence to the homeland is expressed through deliberately wild and almost enraged vocal performances of Edda Dell'Orso. Ennio Morricone has composed music which reflects the bucolic atmosphere of this tale through a series of archaically flavoured themes played by instruments like recorder and mandolin. Among the recurrent themes there are a mysterious motif, dramatic music for dissonant strings and a lounge theme with the typical Morricone sound. The main theme is reprised for recorder and guitar and there is Baroque music for the puppet theater played by woodwinds and percussions. Our LP contains two bonus tracks, unreleased alternate takes of the original album versions which will surely be quite attractive for fans and scholars of the music of Ennio Morricone. Rend is the official soundtrack to the debut game from Frostkeep Studios. Rend is a team-based survival game set in the fabled universe of Nordic myth. This epic fantasy world is a harsh domain where the strong ascend as gods.

Building the musical identity of the world from the ground up was a daunting task but I found inspiration in unexpected places. As the players start out in the afterlife with nothing and have to craft survival tools with the elements around them I found myself reaching for older and less refined sounding instruments like the Hardanger fiddle, Hurdy Gurdy, Viola Da Gamba and Nyckelharpa. The resonant qualities of these instruments gave the feeling of ancient machines built out of wood and string.

My favorite part about working on this soundtrack was getting to collaborate with Einar Selvik of the Norwegian folk band Wardruna. Einar not only provided some incredibly powerful vocals for a few of the songs but also set them to old Norse poetry. I had the privilege of working with quite a few incredible soloists on Rend, most if not all of whom had never worked on a video game score (at least not when I originally recorded them a couple years ago).

Over the two or so years I worked on this score the scope changed quite a bit. While the initial focus had been smaller, more crude sounding pieces, the world of the game continued to grow into a lush, beautiful and quite varied landscape. This led to the idea of adding the City of Prague Philharmonic as well as more celtic influenced instruments and Bulgarian choir. In the end this score isn't about one place or one cultural influence. It borrows from cultures around the world and gives them an otherworldly setting.

Rend is a very special score for me. One that gave me the opportunity to experiment in ways I hadn't before and to work with some really amazing musicians. I hope you enjoy this soundtrack and let it take you on a journey through the worlds of your imagination.

Berto Pisano composed and conducted an OST with a lounge beat and evocative orchestral themes using the wonderfully sexy voice of Edda Dell'Orso, which evoke the sensual / erotic relationship between the adult man and the teen desperate for strong emotions. The main themes are reprised with piano only. The atmosphere of apparent relaxation in the hotel in Ischia is created with pop themes written for Hammond organ and rhythm section. There is also a version with bass flute and a faster version in Bossa tempo. The master tape in stereo of a rare promotional soundtrack album was found in the RCA archives. It was released in 1974 under the label Pegaso and contains almost all the recorded music from the film.

He also includes danceable disco themes, Bossa lounge music, music for Brigitte’s striptease in the nightclub and music for the chases. The sad and romantic side of the story is given intense passages with strings that reveal once again the great melodic side of the composer. For this LP, we were able to use the stereo master tapes of the recording session.

Luciano Michelini created symphonic background music that alternates romanticism with drama and mystery. Our LP opens with the theme of the opening credits, a dark motif produced by strings, percussion and piano which is reprised later in the film. A second recurring motif is a love theme that is introduced in a slow, romantic version with a modern arrangement that alternates with a fast, extravagant march. Initially only the mono mixed tapes were found, but further research into the RCA archives brought to light the stereophonic tape of a previously unreleased LP montage.

In conjunction with The Criterion Collection’s special-edition DVD and Blu-ray release of David Byrne’s 1986 film True Stories, Nonesuch and Todomundo Records release a comprehensive soundtrack, collected for the first time in one package and in film sequence: True Stories, A Film by David Byrne: The Complete Soundtrack. David Byrne was inspired by tabloid headlines to make his sole foray into feature-film directing, an ode to the extraordinariness of ordinary American life and a distillation of what was in his own idiosyncratic mind. Byrne plays a visitor to Virgil, Texas, who introduces us to the citizens of the town during preparations for its Celebration of Specialness. As shot by cinematographer Ed Lachman, Texas becomes a hyper-realistic late-capitalist landscape of endless vistas, shopping malls, and prefab metal buildings. In True Stories, Byrne uses his songs to stitch together pop iconography, voodoo rituals, and a singular variety show. Byrne calls the record “an immersive audio voyage into the little town of Virgil, Texas, in the mid-eighties.” He continues, “I always imagined that the music written for True Stories should be heard as it is in the film. It makes the most sense this way. Me singing the song that was written for John Goodman’s character, Louis Fine, always felt weird to me. It was written for that character, not for me.”

50 years ago, Franco and Luciana De Gemini had recently moved to Rome, both looking for their place in the world. He a talented musician, she a beautiful young bride, they lived in a small penthouse with a huge terrace full of flowers and views that spanned Rome, from the dome of St. Peter to the Altar of the Fatherland to the Castelli Romani: over 40 kilometers of the Eternal City. Through his collaborations with many great maestros of the period and his involvement with the orchestras, Franco got to know many people including Fulvio Corradini and Benito Costa (the former an administrator of prestigious record catalogs, the second a trusted friend). In fact, they had already caught wind of a small record label called Beat Records Company, founded on May 12, 1966, but the two had no time to devote to the endeavor so they trusted its administration to Franco De Gemini by actively involving him as a partner. It was on March 23, 1968, that they set foot in that office on Viale Medaglie D'oro. Beat had published 58 tracks, had 16,500 Liras in cash and a tax fine of 140,000 liras for failure to report. That was the day that Franco and Luciana began their adventure, which would last for him until July 20, 2013, and for her until March 3, 2016. It was an Intense fifty years, always with one foot on an airplane, in a smoke-filled recording studio, in front of a Moviola viewing the scrolling images of film or around a table with incredible characters, to talk, create music and art, or simply to enjoy life. That little two-year-old son that was once picked up and held by Franco and Luciana is now a man of 50, a man with whom generations of film and music fans have been able to cultivate their passions, served and revered by the tireless work of this incredible couple. Having reached this important landmark in time, with over half a century of history behind us, we decided to revive five significant favorites from our musical catalog and replicate them in their original format, a tribute to our past and yours. The fifth appointment of this revival is with one of our scores unreleased on vinyl, Alla Ricerca DEL Piacere by Teo Usuelli, a score we love deeply for a movie featuring the divine Barbara Bouchet, a beautiful icon beloved on both sides of the ocean. The music--iconic as well, and among the most appreciated in our catalog--has been included on Beat at Cinecittà albums and used by the Cohen bros., who included Piacere Sequence M36 in The Big Lebowsky. In partnership with Milan Records, Waxwork Records is proud to announce the deluxe soundtrack vinyl release to COLOR OUT OF SPACE Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist, song writer and composer Colin Stetson!

Directed by Richard Stanley (Hardware, Dust Devil), Color Out of Space is based on the short story by H.P. Lovecraft. After a meteorite lands in the front yard of their farmstead, Nathan Gardner (Nicolas Cage) and his family find themselves battling a mutant extraterrestrial organism as it infects their minds and bodies, transforming their quiet rural life into a technicolor nightmare.

About Colin Stetson:

A highly-coveted collaborator to Bon Iver, Arcade Fire, Tom Waits, LCD Soundsystem, The National and more, Stetson brings with him an expansive body of work that includes both genre-defying, avant-jazz records as well as critically-acclaimed original scores for major film, television and game titles (Ari Aster’s Hereditary, Red Dead Redemption 2). Of the soundtrack, Stetson says:

"The question posed initially when conceiving of this score was what exactly is the sonic representation of a cosmic alien color that does not exist in this terrestrial reality? I began trying to answer that by layering the sounds of coral reefs, processing that cacophony and finding the order revealed through harmonic generation of these hyperdensities, and then continued to chase that same concept of 'transfiguring the natural' down every path and application I could see. Turns out it's somewhere between magenta and hot pink :)"

Waxwork Records is thrilled to present the complete soundtrack by Stetson pressed to 180 gram "Cosmic Magenta" swirled vinyl, housed within a heavyweight printed inner sleeve inserted into an old-style tip-on jacket with film laminate gloss coating, and new art by Matt Taylor.

Born Bangalter in 1947, Daniel Vangarde is a French songwriter and producer. In 1967, he met Jean Kluger who became his publisher. In the 1970s, their tandem stood out in those fields, for a plethora of popular French artists such as Petula Clark, Claude François, Joe Dassin, Dalida, Régine, Sheila and Ringo. 1975 saw the birth of Vangarde’s label, Zagora, and his first and only solo LP. Later on, Vangarde and Kluger were responsible for a number of hit songs by The Gibson Brothers, Ottawan and La Compagnie Créole. With or without Kluger, Vangarde also wrote and produced songs that remained underground, under several monikers (Starbow, Who’s Who, Soul Iberica Band, Yamasuki, Rocky & Vandella…) and for various artists.
