Ross Tregenza Bio: Ross Tregenza is a Bafta nominated Cornish composer, known for his work on video games including The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Deathloop, Forza Horizon 5, Cyberpunk 2077, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, Team Sonic Racing, Timesplitters 2 & 3, Crysis 1-3, Hotshot Racing, Homefront: The Revolution, Star Citizen, Gears of War, Haze, Star Wars, Aliens Vs Predator and BBC Online.

Jim Bonney Bio: Jim Bonney is a Bafta award-winning composer/music director specializing in interactive music, credited in numerous video games including titles from the Mortal Kombat, Mafia, and BioShock series. Along with his game credits, Jim has also created music for everything from Burger King children's toys, to collaborations with Nasa; and has also scored numerous trailers, short films, documentaries, commercials, and television programs, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Chicago Hope, and The Weekenders. His concert works have been performed in over 25 countries, with ensembles as large as 1,400 musicians, located in venues ranging from New York City's Carnegie Hall to the Great Wall of China.

Wes Keltner Bio: Wes Keltner is the CEO and Studio Director at Gun Interactive. He has been a part of the video game industry since 2005 and consulted on video games including Doom, Splinter Cell, Star Wars, Madden, Skyrim, Ghost Recon and several others. With an inclination towards marketing and advertising his work has appeared in Fast Company, Forbes, The NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and Ad Age. During the pandemic he took it upon himself to learn a new musical instrument that could deliver the sound of Texas Chain Saw Massacre. He found this sound within the Apprehension Engine and he spent countless hours discovering and recording horrifying sounds that ultimately became the soundbed of the game.

When Gemma suddenly becomes the caretaker of her orphaned 8-year-old niece, Cady (Violet McGraw, The Haunting of Hill House), Gemma’s unsure and unprepared to be a parent. Under intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to pair her M3gan prototype with Cady in an attempt to resolve both problems—a decision that will have unimaginable consequences.

About the composer:

Bafta-nominated composer Anthony Willis has taken a running leap into the Neverland of film scoring, quickly becoming one of the most highly sought after new voices in Hollywood. Anthony composed the score to Oscar-winning writer/director Emerald Fennell’s drama thriller Promising Young Woman starring Carey Mulligan, which was nominated for Best Picture and earned Anthony a Bafta nomination for Best Original Score.

Willis grew up in London and began his musical training as a chorister of St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, England. He went on to study Composition at Marlborough College, Wilshire and the University of Bristol, before earning his graduate degree from the University of Southern California. He currently resides in Venice Beach.

Wilbert Roget, II is a veteran composer in the video game and film industries. He joined LucasArts as a staff composer in 2008, where he scored several games in the Star Wars universe, including Star Wars: The Old Republic and Star Wars: First Assault. He later became a freelance writer, scoring Mortal Kombat 1, Star Wars: Outlaws, Call of Duty: WWII, the Emmy Award-winning Star Wars: Vader Immortal, and many other high-profile game scores. He has also written for Japanese anime, scoring the upcoming Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance. His work has earned him several awards and nominations from ASCAP, the Game Audio Network Guild, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (D.I.C.E. Awards), and others. Roget also co-founded Impact Soundworks, a successful music software company, and is an accomplished lecturer on game music. He frequently gives online masterclasses and tutorials on music composition and production and has a passion for teaching the craft. He is an avid multi-instrumentalist, performing solo flute, keyboards, world instruments, and guitar on many of his scores.

The story of Eyeshield 21 follows the protagonist Sena, the whipping boy of his classmates, who wants to earn respect by joining a club at the start of the school year. He crosses paths with Hiruma, head of the American soccer club, who recruits him for his exceptional running skills. They must quickly find 11 other players, as the inter-school championship begins in 24 hours. Numerous artists and composers were involved in creating the theme music and accompanying songs, including Kosuke Morimoto, who contributed to various theme songs for Fullmetal Alchemist and One Piece. Any fan of the series will have a strong feeling of nostalgia when they recall the music that marked them during their teenage years. The very Pop-rock and J-pop tones will remind them of those after-school afternoons watching episodes of this epic anime on Game One. You'll also be able to hear the voices of the Japanese cast, including the voice of the main character, Sena Kobayakawa, on many of the credits and accompanying songs. The manga turns 21 in 2023. To celebrate, the author wrote a 55-page one-shot called “Brain X Brave”, which appeared in early January 2024 in Weekly Shonen Jump. Composer Lorne Balfe's overall musical and philosophical approach to Black Adam was 'to get the emotion and darkness of the main characters back story across to the audience, whilst simultaneously intertwining the old themes and familiarities of the DC comic book world and introducing a new class of superheroes.” He further noted “One way to bring in the feeling of an ancient world together was to collaborate with traditional instruments from Latin America, India, Africa and the Middle East. A particular highlight for me was a percussion session I did where we enlisted several musicians playing various traditional instruments together to achieve this specific sound. Further, we had a large brass section across the score to give the weight and power of the main character’s past, which I balanced out with high tempo, more melodic sounds to give the audience that more familiar heroic feel. We also experimented a lot with choir on this project which was able to contribute a unique and classical sound that ties in nicely with Black Adam’s story.”

An anime adaptation is also in the works! The soundtrack of the hit action RPG game "Tenho no Sakuna Hime", released in 2020, is now available in analog format. The production staff carefully selected and arranged a total of 20 tracks for the analog version.

The unique and well-crafted setting in which characters are raised through rice cultivation, and the game system that allows players to experience the hardships and joys of rice cultivation while also providing a challenging combo action game. The game's main character "Sakuna" is voiced by Naomi Ozora, a voice actress with a unique and addictive voice, and the cute characters sometimes laugh, sometimes cry, and sometimes expressively tell a fun and sad story. The soundtrack of "Tenho no Sakuna Hime" (released in 2020), a game developed by Eaderuwaisu that grabbed players' hearts with a charm not found in other games, is now available in analog format! Originally a large 3-cd volume of content, composer Hiroyuki Oshima carefully selected, arranged, and reorganized the music for this work. Each side of the record is named "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter" and is designed to match the world view. The famous song "Yanato Taue Uta, Miko - Kaminagi" is also included, and is highly recommended not only for game fans, but also for those who have started watching the anime...!

The "Ghost in the Shell: game soundtrack," originally released in 1997, was a landmark collaboration between techno, anime, and gaming, taking the techno world by storm. With Takkyu Ishino overseeing sound direction and compilation, this masterpiece featured legends like Derrick May, Westbam, and Hardfloor, who helped shape techno history. Following the two-disc CD release, the much-anticipated vinyl edition is finally set for re-release! As 90s techno experiences a resurgence, this album, which has long been awaited from dance floor, will return as a picture 2LP. The double LP includes new tracks like Hardfloor’s "Spook & Spell (Fast Version)," which wasn’t featured on the original 1997 vinyl, and Derrick May's newly remastered version of "To Be or Not To Be (Off The Cuff 2024 Redefined Mix)." The picture disc features artwork of Motoko Kusanagi and Fuchikoma, further expanding the world of Ghost in the Shell through stunning visuals alongside the techno sound. Urpa i musell feels very fortunate to announce its third release (UiM 003) after a long period of fertile collaboration with the film production company Andergraun Films: the 4-LP Box Set Les músiques per a Albert Serra by the inscrutable band Molforts.
The box set puts together the main musical works that the band created between 2006 and 2018 for the Catalan film director Albert Serra. It includes the soundtracks for three films —Honor de cavalleria / Honour of the Knights (2006), Història de la meva mort / Story of My Death (2013) and La mort de Louis XIV / Last Days of Louis XIV (2016)—, two art pieces —Cubalibre (2012, Documenta, Kassel) and Singularity (2015, Biennale di Venezia)— and the recent play Liberté (2018, Volksbühne, Berlin).
Albert Serra is considered one of the most singular, radical and also controversial filmmakers working today. Tirelessly seeking never-before-seen images, his films and other works are characterised by an improbable balance between wild freedom and exquisite sophistication.
The band Molforts are the creators of all the music in his works and integral members of the creative milieu around Andergraun Films. Their work links intimately with the pieces it is made for. The relationship between music and image is deeply eloquent, not obvious, resulting in unique, suggestive soundscapes.
