Combining the traditional 1989 basketball influences of the Gel-Extreme™ with modern cushioning, the Asics EX89™ was originally created by Toshikazu Kayano in the late 80s as his first design project for Asics. The layered leather construction of the upper meets spirited color blocks that match the legendary NBA team colors of that era. Asics also updated the cushioning system with their in-house FF Blast™ technology, which greatly improves comfort; added to this is a molded heel design to improve comfort underfoot in everyday scenarios.

The adidas Originals Campus is a minimalist old school trainer equipped with a vintage two tone design gentled by the adidas Trefoil logo at the heel patch. A fine early 1980s design that easily outshines most of the contemporary sneakers. By the way, do you remember that these kicks already had an appearance on the cover of the Beastie Boys album »Check Your Head«? By the way, 25% of the upper material has a recycled content of at least 50%, plus parts of the adidas Campus 00s kicks are made from textile waste, scraps and household waste, and thus has a better eco-balance than newly produced materials.

Introduced in 1996, the Karhu Legacy is equipped with an air-cushioned landing zone, sandwich construction heel cap, and a traditional EVA midsole which makes this design a comfortable runner. The vulcanized-inspired rubber sole, the T-shaped toe cap and the bold branding resulted in the signature look of the Gazelle that's still relevant in the streets today.
