The German Army Trainer by Novesta comes directly from the archives of the brand, and the production of these Bundeswehr indoor sneakers, also known as GAT, probably represents a small paradox of the cold war. Originally developed by adidas for the Bundeswehr (German army), the brand had this athletic shoe made for the military by the political opponent in the Eastern bloc.
