The Danner x Snow Peak Danner Light Boots are the result of an impressive collaboration between the renowned US footwear brand Danner and the Japanese outdoor specialist Snow Peak. This limited edition brings together the best of both worlds, combining Danner's tradition of craftsmanship and durability with Snow Peak's innovative outdoor expertise. The Danner Light Boots have long been known for their sturdy design and versatility, and in this exclusive collaboration they have been given additional details and materials that have been developed for demanding outdoor enthusiasts.

Visually, the Danner x Snow Peak Danner Light Boots are characterized by an appealing blend of traditional and modern design elements. The upper is constructed from a combination of premium full-grain leather and durable nubuck leather, and the colorway is understated yet striking, with Snow Peak's minimalist style clearly evident for a timeless aesthetic.

A key feature of these Danner x Snow Peak boots is the Gore-Tex® membrane, which makes the shoe completely waterproof while keeping it breathable. This ensures that your feet stay comfortably dry and comfortable even during long hikes or in adverse weather. The sturdy eyelets and hooks ensure secure lacing and optimal stability of the foot on any terrain.

The foundation is a Vibram® outsole, known for its superior traction on a variety of surfaces. It not only provides good grip on slippery or rocky ground, but also cushioning and comfort, making the boots suitable for both long hikes in nature and everyday urban wear. The tread pattern is designed to perform well even on uneven terrain.

The Danner x Snow Peak Danner Light Boots impressively combine aesthetics, function and quality. With this collaboration, Danner appeals not only to outdoor fans, but also to lifestyle lovers who value high-quality, durable and stylish equipment. These boots are not only a tribute to outdoor culture, but also a statement of sustainable quality and craftsmanship.

Inspired by the birth of Michel Richard-Pontverts in 1945, the Paraboot Michael is a legendary casual design developed by the second generation of the Richard-Pontvert company. Proven worldwide, the model has traversed the ages, adapting to all generations and all styles. Significant details of the elegant Paraboot Michael are the derby leaf insert with beaded stitching, the short two-hole lacing and the Norwegian stitched rubber sole.

Norwegian stitching was developed mainly for mountain and work boots, and the principle can be described as follows: The shaft is sewn to the sole by a welt. Two seams are visible: the so-called Norwegian seam, which connects the frame with the upper and the first stitch, while a seam created by small stitches connects the frame with the sole. However, it's also possible to do it without a frame - in this particular case, both threads are sewn directly on the leather of the underside of the upper. The advantages of the Norwegian seam are the rock-solid and flexible assembly technique, which makes the shoe waterproof and resoleable. From a technical standpoint, the advantages of Norwegian stitching are comparable to those of Goodyear stitching.

Paraboot insoles, heels and soles are still manufactured and vulcanized with the same composition as in the past. As a result, the rubber achieves the best material and mechanical properties in terms of comfort, adaptability and wear resistance. Paraboot's rubber compounds come from France and are vulcanized on their own presses in the company's workshop in Saint Jean de Moirans.

Paraboot Michael - features:

• upper: even leather, pressed with the help of a smooth hot plate
• leather lining
• Norwegian stitching
• homemade vulcanized rubber sole
• handmade in France
• re-sole option: Goodyear and the Norwegian style offer the option of re-soling

Basically, the EG Chambord Bride by Paraboot and Engineered Garments is a classic men's shoe with a derby vamp, if it weren't for the leather strap running across the instep with a polished 1-pin buckle. This detail and the slightly raised U-shaped seam at the front of the upper turn this Paraboot shoe into a stylish hybrid design, which, like some styles from this brand, is fitted with a Norwegian-stitched Goodyear rubber sole that has been made suitable for outdoor use thanks to its rough tread.

Norwegian stitching was developed mainly for mountain and work boots, and the principle can be described as follows: The shaft is sewn to the sole by a welt.
