Following the band’s most successful album to date, 2019’s The Afterlife, and 2021’s Record Store Day vinyl release of their debut Sparks Lane, this reissue of Offer The Light is eagerly awaited, especially as both The Afterlife and Sparks Lane sold out immediately and are currently out of print. . Offer The Light’s sonic blueprint doesn’t stray too far from The Church’s blend of Velvet Underground menace and the Byrd’s glorious jangle. It’s a rather beautiful “’70s rock album”, along the lines of Pink Floyd, but not too far from the band for which Willson-Piper is most famous. As any fan of The Church already knows, Marty’s one helluva guitar player, is an avid supporter of independent record stores, worked in one in Stockholm for years and has a vinyl record collection of over 50,000 albums. 14 million streams ago...God, where to start? We formed in the late-70s to play a special Mass for the Bishop at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Brooklyn. Most of us met for the first time while rehearsing for that Mass and decided to keep in touch. We realized that Catholics (we were all Roman Catholics at the time) had nowhere to go to hear fun, inspirational music, so we began playing church halls and schools doing "rocked-up" versions of songs we pulled out of hymnals. Eventually some of us wrote our own stuff. We played hundreds of shows over the next 4 years, passing the hat for donations to pay for necessities that we needed to keep the group going (microphones, wires, gas for the van, and eventually, the "First Fruit" album, which we sold at concerts for just about cost). It was never about the money; it was all about spreading the Good News and having fun doing it. We consistently lost members through the years and gave our last concert in December 1983. Doug Prinzivalli, who owned a video copy of our appearance on a local TV show sometime in 1982, had been running "where are they now" (or more specifically, "who are they") contests on his California blog for years. It wasn't until he got his hands on a copy of the album (which is amazing considering we only printed 1,000 or so) that he found my name and tracked me down. That video was originally put on YouTube not by Doug, but by some visitor to his blog who thought it was too good not to share. --Sal Polichetti (Sonseed) (This is an exclusive 2023 Record Store Day release.)

In 2009, Eddie Money recorded eight cover songs that appeared on a pair of EPs, released on CD. Those EPs are now being combined and released for the first time on vinyl. In addition to a pair of Beatles classics, the Covers LP also includes rocking versions of songs originally popularized by AC/DC, the Doors, the Four Tops, Green Day, and Train.

Over his career, Eddie Money scored eleven Top 40 pop & rock hits between 1978 and 1991. His self-titled debut album included the classic rock staples "Baby Hold On" and "Two Tickets to Paradise" and sold two million albums in the U.S. In 1986, Money scored big again with "Take Me Home Tonight," a Top 5 single that earned him a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. By the late 1990s, Money could be seen in guest spots on The Drew Carey Show and The King of Queens. He sadly passed away in 2019.

“Songs of stone” is a musical project based on several epigrams, elegies and laments that Gabriele Tinti composed inspired by epigraphs from the ancient world. It arises from the wish to sustain the necessary link that joins us to the rituals of the past. The inscriptioN on durable material was one of the languages the ancients used to oppose the transience of oral expression, wishing to conserve their words in time. Tinti gathers these ideas to create verses he entrusts to the actor’s interpretation, thus combining the impression of the spoken word and the visual participation of the words in stone. The readings are made by Malcolm McDowell, star of numerous cult films including A Clockwork Orange, If... and Caligula. Tinti’s words and the actor’s vocal performance are put together by Massimo Pupillo in a work intended to transgress the confines between reality and ancient mythology. Massimo has created an imaginary landscape, creating a visionary theatre for Gabriele Tinti 's words, a sound world born and based on the precise and eloquent vocal timbre of Malcolm McDowell. Using a plethora of different sources, various synthesis, samples of eastern european choirs, processing Mc Dowell voice, Songs of Stone will bring the listener in a twilight zone between dreams and mythology, where remote past and future horizons meet

Doomdelic Instrumental Space Prog Rockers L'ira DEL Baccano are back with their official 4th album on Subsound Records " Cosmic Evoked Potentials ". The album release will be preceded by a video for the single " The Strange Dream of My Old Sun" Producer and guitarist Alessandro Santori says about the album: Cosmic Evoked Potentials is a rite of passage, the end of a cicle and already blooming of another. Surely our most instinctive effort so far. We went back to our roots of live recording, this time instead of a stage we chose an old mansion from late '1700 outside Rome. The atmosphere there was so charming and stimulating that 13 minutes of a 45 min long improvisation ended up in the album. We wanted the dynamics and moods of the parts to be the most important thing, taking more time than our usual developing the "story" of the songs.

We are very happy to announce the release of "I'Melting" the debut album from Crystal Glass Hailing from Essen in West Germany, Crystal Glass is the moniker of Marvin Andrä. Marvin was first introduced at the young age of 4 to making music when his father bought him a drumkit for christmas, growing up at school Marvin played in various music projects but in 2021 in his early 20s Marvin began Crystal Glass as his project for his own songs he had been writing. After self releasing a few singles Crystal Glass came to the attention of Duchess Box Records, who had only released Berlin based acts before this including the likes of Gurr, Sofia Portanet, Thala, Shybits etc. Influenced by song writers such as Damon Albarn, Keven Parker and Louis Cole, Crystal Glass have developed a dreamy psychedelic indie sound that also can also at time make you wanna tap your feet and shake your hips. Marvin wrote and recorded the entire album in his bedroom studio and at their rehearsal room in Essen. "Every single song deals with a different phase in my life from the past years. I didn't have a concept when I started, it just came over me when problems or strong feelings popped up. The album is my therapy to deal with these things." Marvin
