TIP!!! Berlin’s Pure Hate drops its first release for 2021 from Toronto’s MDD. The Consume + Impose EP consists of 3 original tracks with remixes from Swarm Intelligence & Mickey Nox. MDD is a live performance and studio project created by Measure Divide and Dolgener. Having released on Hands, South London Analogue Material, Inner Surface Music and Drøne, MDD’s tough industrial infused rhythms oscillate frequencies ranging from the realm of techno to punk. On the performance front, each set is an improvisation of heavy drum grooves, edgy basslines and distorted elements. No Pure Hate release would be complete without remixes and this time they welcome Swarm Intelligence & Mickey Nox to the label. After a stellar debut release in 2023, vinyl-only label Dust in Grooves, sees its anticipated second EP Reclaim, showcasing one of Dublin's gleaming underground talents Mode_1. Establishing DIG as a progressive sonic platform, founder Olivia Mendez is also curating a series of dynamic augmented reality covers for each EP. Adding more layers into the sound experience of the Reclaim vinyl is motion designer and visual artist Omer Avarkan.

Mode_1's dedication to uncovering layers of tough but rhythmic grooves, both as a DJ and a producer, has led him to make a mark on legendary techno imprints such as Knotweed, FiedelTwo, Truncate and Naked Lunch. Staying true to his advancing, dynamic sound laid with dexterous technique, Robert Kavanagh delivers a collection of four ominous tracks, pulsating with incandescent pads and pacey drums.

The EP opens with the relentless and driving Sigma, setting the tone for a swiftly moving ride across the record. With playful shifting of gears and jacking rhythms, the A2 flows into the next track Dusty Room, utilising the bleepy pitches in contrast to the expansive spheric tones, offering an energetic boost of a melodic techno work-out, with hints of sharp dub edges.

Reclaim on B1 highlights the versatility of Mode_1, comprising multi-layered scales, evolving spiral sounds and a build-up of reverberating tones that escalate with poise. As a closing track of the record, Platform 8 is one of those B2 sides that you keep reaching out to. This ultimate big-floor tool is loaded with advancing movement, keys with mystical undertones, and depth of texture that play with the infinite nature of the number eight.

Besides delivering some of his typical techno bangers (push, Waste OF Good Cereal, Winning Streak, Every ME) and a breaky roller in the legacy of his hit Otto Wagner Green (fever), he has taken some considerable risk by showing a completely new side of his production in the studio: Wash ME and Sail Away are coops with Viennese singers, that could quite plausibly be described as pop songs. Viennas Meat Recordings returns with a new EP by label boss Gerald VDH. -Martyr- includes two original tracks and two remixes by Cleric and Elad Magdasi. The vinyl version comes with a beautiful full colour cover that features a photograph by London based photographer Tyler Udall.

Pole, aka innovative German electronic artist Stefan Betke, presents a limited edition 12" single with new exciting remixes of tracks from his latest album, Tempus.

This 12" sees the title track 'Tempus' remixed by long-time Nine Inch Nails contributor, label mate and "synth connoisseur" Alessandro Cortini. The vinyl also includes the track 'Stechmück' remixed by Californian interdisciplinary artist Rrose, reworked by UK's electro-punk duo Sleaford Mods and edited by Pole. The original song embraces the sound of Betke's dying Minimoog, which you can hear manipulated in different ways across the different versions.

Düsseldorf-native musician, producer and mastering engineer Pole is known for his unique musical language oscillating between melody and avant-garde in electronic music, with audible influences from Dub and Jazz music. Tempus contributed to his ongoing musical evolution, while retaining a relationship to previous work, with Pitchfork stating "It's the sound of an artist drawing from his repertoire while demonstrating that he is still looking to the future."

Three driving and explosive groovers that offer different takes on Wills' stylistic sound. Qualia draws on a fat-n-funky bassline underpinned by raw synth elements and quirky spoken vocals. Upcoming South African artist - Tmbsh! - delivers his 'have a nice day' remix which playfully adds fluffy guitars and strings to the mix. Flip it over for smooth rework courtesy of Spanish artist Paul Rudder who has released on labels like Berg Audio, Shall Not Fade, Lazy Days & more. Here he offers a bubbling, chord heavy workout with crisp percussion. InUnison closes off the B-side with a playful bassline, heavy drums and cool sampled/chopped movie vocals. In 2017, with the release of her first album Polaar, Maud Geffray – half of duet Scratch Massive – took a sidestep and imposed a fascinating, floating, melancholic and elegiac solo output.

Ad Astra is an electronic album without any complexes. Its beats are more asserted and dancey, its pads are erected like cathedrals, its vocals, while pitched and processed, are spotlighted, and references to 90s dance abound. Ad Astra switches from experimental to commercial with the same ease, the poppier bias shines throughout the danceable, exhilarating songs, as well as the more nostalgic and contemplative numbers, all the while bursting with energy and melancholy, youth and innocence, as if hanging suspended on the dancefloor.

Producing music for Knotweed Records and Decision Making Theory since 2012, Gonzalo celebrates the ten years of the label by delivering four tracks that navigate between atmospheric, deep, hard, trippy and hypnotic techno at the same time.

At Radikon, we were mesmerized the first time we heard Diamond Mouth’s angelic brand of noisy, dream-like pop and have asked some of our favorite artists to reimagine the Danish duo’s singular soundscapes for catalogue number 31. Frankey & Sandrino’s rendition of ‘Stare at Me’ shrouds the original’s lumbering moodiness in layers of impatient percussive salvos and sizzling electric stabs. A monumental pad infuses the haunting vocals with a sense of urgency, creating a compelling emotional dichotomy to the hypnotic original. Setting the dissonant spoken word mantras of ‘Divine Flow’ to a mechanical, throbbing groove with pulsating blips and white noise hits, Ruede Hagelstein retains the original’s menacing quality. In a striking change of pace, the track is enveloped in layers of soothing pads and glittering percussion, artfully mirroring the original’s progression from dissonant uneasiness to divine bliss. Yubik’s version of ‘Blade of Light’ imbibes the original’s monumentality, while infusing it with a powerful anthemic quality. His signature drum and synth work adds a beautiful layer of massive, all-encompassing emotionality, and distills the original’s complex soundscapes into raw dance floor energy. Contrasting to Ruede’s rendition, Jonas Saalbach chose a different route for his version of ‘Divine Flow’. Focusing on the blissful, floaty energy in the second part of the original, Jonas elevates the dreamy original to shimmering heights of pure bliss set to an effortlessly powerful groove.

This EP is a collection of Deep, Dark melodic and soulful Techno. All of the tracks were composed, mixed and produced by Matt Dubspun, a Long time Chicago DJ and Producer. We start with “Nu Day” and are elevated to “Gracie” and on the flip we groove with “There Will Come a Time” and it’s rounded it out with Detroit Techno jam “Amid”. All the tracks were created with hardware synthesizers and drum machines and are also available on Matt’s Apple Music debut album “The Quest For Soul”

Hypnotecho’O is Pho Bho’s second release made and arranged by Matteo Coffetti, label’s co-founder along with Federico Spini. The record’s distinctive feature is its original fusion between ethnic samples beaten by violent kicks and sharp snares from the rawest techno. What it generates it’s a unique rhythm-flow ideal for the dancefloor. The collaboration with Filippo Zenna is the result of the two artist’s anxieties and fears over a past that is no longer here and a tomorrow that strives to come.

Berlin based artist WHT Moth made three strong and irresistible tracks for Eclectic driven by an aggressive techno groove. We discovered this artist 2 years ago when he made an EP via the digital line of Eclectic. Now is the time to release his project on vinyl alongside the epic remix of the big artist Pfirter.

After two VA compilations, Delusion presents its first conceptual solo release by Mateo Hurtado. Psychedelic modular sounds form a deep and gloomy mood that perfectly affects on impulsive drums and basslines.
