Italy's fastest rising name in house and techno returns to the respected Drumcode imprint with this blistering new 4- track EP, Climax.

Featuring a distinctive vocal sample crescending over a typically thumping bassline, opening lead track Climax grows gradually with the introduction of a single synth note and skipping hi-hats.

Two beatless breakdowns increase the pressure whilst a new synth melody is introduced in the second half of the track, making for a powerful ending as all the elements join together.
Boost starts out deep and dark, with a high-pitched call echoing over a determined beat. The track changes course mid-way through with the introduction of a bassy, low-pitched synth melody, helping Boost evolve into a catchier, more playful track.

First up on the B side Spectre is a no-nonsense piece featuring a jittering synth note, rattling hi-hats and a trademark tension-filled breakdown.

Rounding off the EP Over The Clouds as its name would suggest, is the gentlest of the four tracks. Filled with dusty textures over a rumbling bassline, twinkling synths move in waves before lower-pitched chords join, adding a real sense of depth to this production.
Overall, Climax is an outstanding example of Faraone's ear for detail as a producer: his experience as both a resident and touring DJ clearly feeds into his skill for manipulating tension in his productions like he does on the dancefloors.

DJ Qiu & Playchild's "Da Boops": a timeless relic of House Music, emerging after three decades. Despite its obscurity, it's a testament to musical resilience. The unparalleled vision of Anthea and Oshana shines strong as their Psionic label continues to move forward this time in curation with fellow label mate Velasco. Heading up the sixth outing on the label is Uruguayan talent Marcos Coya with his “Comportamientos Nocturnos” EP.

This new opus marks a major comeback for Samuel Sanders, who made a name for himself in the 2000s with his first productions alongside Max Walder on Ghoststyle, whose track "Cyclone" was covered by big names such as Ken Iishi, Marco Bailey, Frank Biazzi, Technasia, Marco Carola ... but also on the Invasion label with "Dependance" (N.E.W.S label) and among others on the Kevlar "Illusion" label, where this EP received great support from Dave Clarke, Carl Cox, Chris Liebing ... He also produced alongside Manu Kenton on the Kentek, Frenchtek and Fanatix labels. With N.O.B.A, he returned to production, choosing Vibes Addikt for his comeback.

The A-side "Do You Like ... 2024" is a remake of a track he and N.O.B.A created in 2008 on Reaktion, in a much more Hard Techno version with a spirit all its own.

Side B is dedicated to Samuel Sanders himself and presents his new productions:

The B2 "Don't Be Afraid" is close to Hard Techno with a more clubby style for fans of this style.

For the 5th release, Mung Records presents a 12" vinyl Back EP by Denis Kostitsyn with a remix by Marco Pellegrino aka Ancut.

Denis Kostitsyn is a talented musician with an academic conservatory education behind him. In recent years, Denis maintained an active role in the thriving local music scene. His genuine innate feeling of sound contributes to his expeditious advance in electronic music production.

Two talents with careers spanning varying eras, yet artists positioned at the heart of Italy’s current house landscape, Alex Neri and Mennie are adding to their rich solo discographies with a series of selected works in partnership with one another. Tuscany’s Neri, co-owner of the iconic nightlife institution Tenax and label boss at Wildflower Records, stands as one of the legendary Italian names from the past 30 years, holding residencies at the likes of Pikes in Ibiza while releasing a long list of classic records since the early 90s under numerous aliases, including Kamasutra alongside Marco Baroni. A familiar name to Fuse fans, having released material via sister imprints Locus and INFuse, Mennie has seen his career flourish of late, regularly touring Europe’s key venues while also holding a residency at the legendary Tenax. Here, the two build on their recent joint studio projects with a debut on Fuse for the third edition of the label’s collaborative X Series, unveiling a quartet of impactful house cuts in heavy rotation for label head honcho Siragusa.

Taking a deep dive amongst swirling synths and cosmic interludes, ‘Reality’ opens proceedings with a trippy and punchy lead cut as the duo introduce slick groove-laden drum arrangements to get things moving, while ‘Find Me’ keeps the pressure on with bumping low-ends, shuffling hats and a menacing yet captivating bass groove sure to keep dancers moving in lockstep. On the b-side, ‘Rockets’ brings luminous melodies amongst breaks-influenced percussion for a playful and dynamic production, before ‘Watch Me’ rounds things out with another all-action affair as acid-dipped and kinetically charged closer made for big moments.

Andrew Haines aka Merix is primarily an outlet for deeper House and Techno sounds with an experimental twist. A love for cutting edge 80s and 90s moody, soulful and raw electronic club music sounds produced from the hardware of those years lies at the heart of these productions. However a forward thinking and modern experimentation with these boundaries is also intended to be loosely employed with these production parameters. All audio production by Merix runs alongside the Ae2 Multimedia project. Ae2 Multimedia was created by Andrew Haines in 2010 as a fusion of various artistic endeavours. Andrew Haines has been creating works of fine art, DJing and producing electronic music since the mid 1990's. Over the past 20 years Andrew Haines has also been engaged in creating works of analogue film photography, researching folklore, practising spirituality, exploring herbalism and world travel. As an artist Merix is currently based between Galway in western Ireland, the hills of northern Cymru and Long Island, New York State in USA.

UK-based Natural Expressions latest 4 tracker offers pure primetime examples of dub and deep techno. 2 from beloved fixtures in the scene along with 2 that are on the rise. The universally recognized Gradient, gives us 'Flight Above the Fog' and like the title alludes to, it accomplishes. Known for his intricate and classic dub techno rhythms, this hypnotic standout builds the atmosphere to a goosebump crescendo. Collogne follows up with 'West District'. A mesmerizing chord anthem that hangs around in the sweet spot, never over-extending its' welcome. The second side hosts the ever-talented veteran Merv and his wicked contribution titled 'Serpent'. This attention grabber is standout dub techno in the upmost. Elegant and tempered, it chooses the smoothest route, washing over the listener with absolute dream-like euphoria. Vapnik closes the 12" with a fantastic reinterpretation of the Marco Hessler track 'Spacewaves'. The scintillating chord work is an audible thrill while the subdued drop towards the middle is pure magic. Another strong artist who really brings the heat. Nexv002 ‎is the ideal example of a 4 track EP that features no holes. All killer and no filler.

It has been almost a year since the release of Marco Faraone's first album "I WILL WAIT", which came out on Etruria Beat. It was presented in June 2013 at the Panorama Bar, Berlin and got supported by important national and international DJ's/producers , such as Laurent Garnier , who are considered as icons of the electronic music world. After this excellent result, we decided to release some remixes of the most requested and popular tracks of the album, but for such an experimental album, we chose very special remixers to surprise the audience.

Halbert kicks off "our STORY“ EP with no fear and no compromises to his sound legacy. It has been produced during the last year in the neighborhood of Santa Catalina - where everything is happening - under the experience and influence of local parties such as private villas and small sweaty clubs. A1 "oleeva" features a weird half-tempo break, grooving along a 4x4 kick and Bmore loop style. The "Spanish" trumpets act as an irresistible hook, leaving a long lasting impression. A fusion of folklore and timeless sounds, "Oleeva" is a true party anthem that defies genres. Reissue of A3000 "Magnetic Gliding" album, produced by Swiss musicians Marco Repetto and Stefan Riesen, also known as Synectics on Rephlex and founders of Axodya Records. Originally released in 1995 on the Italian Disturbance label, it has now been remastered and proudly reissued for 2023 in a limited edition of 500 copies by Musique Pour La Danse. Enjoy this trip.

Marco Repetto was a member of the world-famous wave/punk band Grauzone. In the late '80s, he delved into techno, ambient, and psychedelic music, drawing inspiration from nature and shamanic knowledge. His performances are described as colorful, playful, and mind-opening experiences. His main project now is "Bigeneric," which he releases on his label, Inzec Records.

Stefan Riesen has been a prominent figure in the Swiss techno scene since 1995. He is the founder-manager of Phont Music, SuperBra, Morris/Audio, Floppy Funk, and Speaker Attack. He has (co-)produced numerous tracks under various aliases on different labels, including Box Blaze, Flaptrack, Hooper, Nylon, Sonic Tourism, Spin, A3000, Box Blaze & Deetron, Dialogue, Lausen, R.B.R., Sidestepper, Silver Zone, Skank Burner, Synectics, and more.

Marco Faraone returns to Dcltd with a pair of high-impact cuts, reinforcing his range as one of techno's most versatile producers. 'Dangerous' rolls like a percussive steam train, building tension with a barrage of low-slung drums and a head-spinning synth line that darts in and out of play. 'Pressure' doesn't take a back step, as industrial rhythms uncoil with thrilling effect.

talian DJ/producer Marco Faraone returns to Rekids this August with ‘Any Good Vibe?’

Tuscany-born, Barcelona-based Marco Faraone runs the Uncage label and event series, where he showcases the breadth and depth of his tastes. Returning to Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint after multiple appearances on the label, ‘Any Good Vibe?’ sees Faraone bring another potent EP of stylish techno.

Leading the A-side is the title cut, with yelping vocals and flaming percussion all adding to the wild energy of the track. The superb 'Ego Kills' follows, with swinging drums, chord stabs, and dubbed-out stylings that suit it to sweaty back rooms. Rounding out the release is 'Ghana', a heavy techno groove layered up with plenty of percussion, urgent synth sounds, and a vocal that adds unease to the intense atmosphere.

Now, he returns to Cécille with some fabolus new club-cuts, accompanied by a remix from the highly acclaimed Manchester trio, Mason Collective. Known for their deep connection to the city's club culture, Mason Collective has been touring the globe with tremendous success, solidifying their position as one of the most dynamic acts to emerge from Manchester in recent years turn in their interpretation of ‘Sissy’s Track’, extracting the core groove and soul of the original while stamping their own mark on things via intricately intertwined synth work, a murky bass groove and an overall bumpy house feel.
