RECORD LABEL PROTECTOR FOR CLEANING

This product is a label protector that protects the label in the middle of the record from water when you clean your records with water.

Considering the requests and improvements received from users for the Label Protector 'CLP01' released in August 2019, the label protector, which screws onto the record label from both sides, has been enlarged to make it more manageable. At the same time, the thickness of the label protector has been reduced so that it is easier to hold.

A replacement rubber seal and a rubber plate are included in the delivery.

RECORD LABEL PROTECTOR FOR CLEANING

Before cleaning the record, the label protector is screwed onto the record label from both sides so that it does not come into contact with water. In this way, record labels are preserved for a long time.

AFI flat.2 Record Flattener / Relaxer
The Audio Fidelity Improvement flat.2 is a cutting-edge multifunctional record flattener and relaxer. It flattens vinyl LPs, Maxis and Singles. Using special flat mats and high-quality control electronics the flat.2 achieves an utterly even distribution of heat and therefore results that have been out of reach until now.

Preset programs provide for very simple handling. The Standard program reliably eliminates most of the warps. In addition to that, there is an Expert program with flexible settings.

The flat.2 works very precisely and has several protective mechanisms to ensure very high product and process safety. Allocation of temperature on the surface as well as at the top and bottom is homogenous. Deviation of the target value represents less than 0,25 K.

Another distinctive feature of the flat.2 is the Relaxation program. The vinyl record is heated (and afterwards cooled) very slowly, evenly and controlled to temper the record. This thermal process of tempering is a traditional physical method and causes a considerable sound improvement in most cases.

A slim construction and first-class manufacturing out of special hard glass emphasize the elegant and timeless design.

Disco-Antistat BiDest is a high-purity special water, such as is used in laboratories or cosmetics. All dissolved substances have been removed from the water by means of complex physical processes, which means that it is pure H2O, in contrast to the water available in DIY stores, for example. Therefore, it is ideally suited for all applications where purest water is required. For an optimal cleaning result with our Disco-Antistat Ultraclean concentrate, we therefore recommend the use of Disco-Antistat BiDest for the preparation of the cleaning liquid. The FLUX-Hifi VINYL-BRUSH is designed to free the record on the turntable from surface dust and static charging. A completely new design combines velvet pads with an integrated carbon brush. The special office ensures a flat cleaning of the plate surface, dust particles are completely removed. The carbon brush prevents static charging of the record. How crackling and crackling noises are minimized and prevents further dusting of the record. The carbon fiber brush is primarily used to remove static from the record. Here it is very important that the fiber and the aluminum housing are electrically connected and the aluminum is not coated, otherwise the static dissipation cannot be realized.

The velvet takes the dust from the surface. Our velvet has a pile height of 1.2mm, the fiber is a multifilament yarn with a high basis weight of 500g/lfm.

The tightly woven velvet on the brush surface is ideal for cleaning the sound grooves of the record and also enhances the cleaning effect. Fine dust adhering to the record is removed.
