Reissue of critically acclaimed 1990 full-length on limited-edition (300 copies) radiation green with orange haze colored vinyl. M-Theory Audio will reissue “Harsh Realities,” the debut album release from Seattle thrashers, Bitter END. The group's 1990 release, originally released by Metal Blade Records, was produced by Randy Burns (Megadeth, Kreator, Death, Nuclear Assault) and featuring cover artwork by Jim Warren (Loudness, Lizzy Borden, Heir Apparent) - garnered critical acclaim and a cult following for a thrash metal assault that bludgeoned ears with musical precision that appealed to fans of acts such as Megadeth, Forbidden, and Testament. The band were mainstays of the late 1980's pre-grunge Seattle heavy metal scene that also gave rise to fellow Pacific Northwest promising thrashers such as Forced Entry and Panic. Bitter END signed with Metal Blade Records and released “Harsh Realities,” after the success of their “Meet Your Maker” demo tape hailed by fanzines, underground/college radio, and tape traders. The album received strong reviews at the time from Metal Forces and Kerrang!, and the music video for the title track received airplay on MTV's “Headbanger's Ball.” The band cultivated their live presence with prolific shows in their hometown scene alongside future giants such as Soundgarden and Alice In Chains and toured alongside fellow thrash greats such as Sacred Reich and DRI. The group began tracking their follow-up record at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle with famed producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney) handling mixing duties, however the shifting tides of the music industry and creative differences resulted in the dissolution of Bitter END in 1992 before their next album could be completed.

Shadows Fall was founded over 25 years ago by guitarists Jon Donais of thrash legends Anthrax and Matt Bachand of Act of Defiance. Soon after the group released their debut album – which featured All That Remains vocalist Phil Labonte – in 1997, Brian Fair was recruited to be the group's new front man. After a year's worth of live shows together, the band entered Massachusetts' Planet Z Studios with producer Zeuss to record what would become what would become a seminal album in the burgeoning New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement.

Influenced by classic Bay Area thrash, Scandinavian melodic death and New England hardcore, “Of One Blood” ushered in a new era for metal that emphasized heaviness, hooks and taut musicianship. The album earned extensive critical acclaim; it saw the group tour alongside the likes of Hatebreed, In Flames, Converge, Lamb of God and Unearth, as well as share festival stages with Pantera and Slayer; and it even caught the attention of MTV.

“Of One Blood” set the stage for the band to achieve additional mainstream metal success on their subsequent release, 2002's “The Art of Balance,” which saw the group join Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest tour en route to selling more than 250,000 copies in the U.S. alone. From there, the band cracked the Billboard Top 20 with 2004's “The War Within” – which sold more than 400,000 copies in the U.S. and earned the band its first Grammy nomination – before signing with Atlantic Records for the release of 2007's “Threads of Life,” which saw the band receive a second Grammy nomination.

In celebration of the album's 20th anniversary, M-Theory Audio presents the first-ever vinyl release of “Determination”, from God Forbid. The band was a major player within the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement of the early '00s. In addition to an appearance on Ozzfest, the group logged many miles on the road touring alongside legacy acts such as Slayer and Anthrax, as well as scene contemporaries such as Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, and Hatebreed. God Forbid disbanded several years ago, but guitarist Doc Coyle has also remained a prominent member of the heavy metal community through his involvement in the band, Bad Wolves. This new issue of the record will also include an expanded layout with new liner notes from Doc Coyle, and rare photos and memorabilia. The original 2001 release of “Determination” was the band's first release through Century Media Records, but M-Theory Audio's new issue will mark the album's first-ever vinyl release, and will also include the bonus track, “Mind Eraser”.

Continuing to work with producer Steve Evetts (Sepultura, Hatebreed, Symphony X) the band opted for a different mix and enlisted Brett Eliason (Pearl Jam, Avenged Sevenfold) who brought a cleaner and different approach to the traditional thrash band. Staples include “The Turning of the Gears,” “Hunter-Seeker,” “Black Sun, Black Moon” and the epic “Towers of the Serpent.” The reissue adds the band’s take on the Led Zeppelin classic “Communication Breakdown.” Touring continued with notable supports to Overkill and Kreator in the US and Iced Earth in Europe.

MY DYING BRIDE‘s three decades of misery almost came to an end several years ago. Following 2015’s universally lauded »Feel the Misery« album, vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe’s daughter, just five years old at the time, was diagnosed with cancer. Shocked and heartbroken, Stainthorpe put all band activities on hold while he, his immediate family, and MY DYING BRIDE put their collective energies into eradicating what Stainthorpe called, “the cruellest of God's bitter and loveless creations.” The high hurdles, however, didn’t stop with cancer. In 2018, returning original member and guitarist Calvin Robertshaw texted his departure, effective immediately. No reason was given or explanation provided to anyone. Then, just as MY DYING BRIDE had regrouped after positive news that his daughter was effectively cancer free, returning drummer Shaun Taylor-Steels departed right before the band were slated to enter Mark Mynett’s studio, Mynetaur Productions. Down two members but feeling right as rain, MY DYING BRIDE moved on, mastered the doldrums, recording magnificent new album, »The Ghost of Orion«, to the joyful tears of fans across the globe, in the process.

Sicarius – whose moniker means contract killer or assassin in Latin – draw influence from and pay homage to classic black metal bands, yet the quintet also injects a modern, high-velocity sense of immediacy into their bludgeoning and bloodthirsty extreme metal assault. The group – whose sonic nihilism has been praised by Metal Hammer as “USBM with serious forward thrust” – was founded five years ago in Southern California, where they have since performed extensively alongside such genre heavyweights as Carach Angren, Master, Uada, 1349, Goatwhore and Vader.

Intolerant, as a project, arose from the need of putting the hate and social distress built up during the years of Antihuman War Machine and Soul Devourer into music. "Primal Future" is the first chapter and will be released by Time To Kill Records. The album has 10 tracks inspired by the mid 90s Black/Death Metal scene, with an experimental touch (cyber-drumming) and noise/industrial elements. Lyrics go about apocalyptic scenarios where man, victim and perpetrator, gets back to a pure trivial survival existence. Deprived of any modern comfort, man must face social violence, cannibalism and human sacrifices with magical purposes. This album is a written version of the human race's future.

After winning over new audiences with their acclaimed 2018 debut full-length “Age of Revolution” and touring relentlessly alongside fellow shredders such as Marty Friedman, Powerglove and Exmortus, Immortal Guardian gathered in Las Vegas at the beginning of 2020 to begin recording their second album. As the spread of Covid-19 and the subsequent pandemic began to ensue, each member of the band retreated to their respective hometowns. With shutdowns around the world being enforced, the band completely scrapped the record that they had been working on and were heavily inspired to write and create a new thematic record about their emotions surrounding current events. “Psychosomatic” is the next step in Immortal Guardian’s evolution while still capturing the band’s exhilarating trademark melding of melodic power metal with progressive/shred tendencies.

“Nightmare Eclipse”, the second album and label debut from Sheboygan, Wisconsin's mosh masters Toxic Ruin. The album shows off the combination of energetic thrash metal, death metal brutality and clinical technicality that propelled the band to the final round of the 2019 Wacken Metal Battle. Toxic Ruin was formed in 2014 with a mission of blending classic thrash metal, old-school death metal and modern technicality and tones into a wicked headbanging brew. Operating out of their collective hometown of Sheboygan, the band released their debut album, “Subterranean Terror,” in 2016. This opening serve showcased the group's already-burgeoning barrage of furious riffs and lyrical content ranging from the socio-political commentary of tracks such as “Seat of Corruption” to the beloved craving of a good drink on songs such as “Alcoholocaust.” The group followed up that debut record with the release of their 2018 EP, “Mortal Insolence,” on which the current line-up of Toxic Ruin took shape with Behrendt stepping into the vocalist position and the debut of rhythm guitarist Blake Toltzmann alongside lead guitarist Jacob Baneck and drummer David Miller. The effort saw the group further evolve their sound, leading to praise from Dead Rhetoric for showcasing “a stronger level of confidence and insight into dynamic songwriting for a thrash band not content to rest on recycling the past, but rather creating a bright future." Toxic Ruin began writing and recording “Nightmare Eclipse” while relentlessly touring the United States in 2019 alongside bands such as Lich King and Stonecutters and playing multiple festivals including Full Terror Assault and Slam Dakota, plus winning 2nd Place in the 2019 edition of Wacken Metal Battle USA. The result is the band's most mature and complex material to date, while also being their heaviest display of metallic force so far.

Portland’s Dark Power Metal band Silver Talon's full-length debut “Decadence and Decay” is the band's follow-up to their 2018 EP, “Becoming A Demon”, and showcases the thrilling combination of heavy metal hooks and guitar-driven virtuosity that has driven the band since their formation in 2017. With a virtuosic guitar attack, a rumbling rhythm section and powerful vocals, Silver Talon was birthed after rising from the ashes of the disbanded Portland metal group, Spellcaster (Prosthetic Records). Guitarist Bryce VanHoosen joined forces with fellow ex-Spellcaster member Sebastian Silva – who now handles additional guitar duties in Silver Talon and also plays in goth-rockers Unto Others (formerly Idle Hands) – in a shared mission to keep the heavy metal flame burning brightly. Bolstered by the soaring vocal attack of Wyatt Howell (Sanctifyre), Silver Talon began 2018 by unveiling two demo tracks, “Devil Machine” and “Warrior's End,” which showcased the group's ability to create fist-clenching, head-banging heavy metal through a combination of masterful hooks, lush melody and technical dexterity. Silver Talon faced the challenges of 2020 by staying focused and productive. Their efforts culminated in the recording of “Decay and Decadence.”. The first single, “Deceiver, I Am”, was released in December 2020, and showcased the evolution of the group's creative vision and dark power metal sound. All three guitarists are utilized to show off arrangements that are deeper and more three-dimensional than their previous work.

A two-song work totaling 16 minutes, Rothadás suggested - and strongly - that the selfsame band had a staunchly ancient-minded vision of death metal but by no means were blinkered by the past. Perhaps this unique dichotomy is down to ROTHADAS being a self-contained duo of vocalist/drummer Lambert Lédeczy and guitarist/bassist Tibor Hanyi - both men equally prolific veterans of the underground, and both concurrently playing in labelmates CRYPTWORM among others. Now, at last do the duo unveil their debut album, Kopár hant... az alvilág felé. Here, ROTHADAS erect an eerily shimmering monument of slimy, oftdoomy DEATH METAL: for maniacs, by maniacs, young and old and everyone in between. Armed with an absolutely crushing production, the band's first full-length betrays an eternal wisdom by maximizing the basics as well as nodding to various eras and locales of death metal but only subtly - immersion rather than extraction, and addition by subtraction, tastefully so in both regards. After temporarily parting ways with Fear Factory – the influential, gold-certified industrial metal band he co-founded – in 2002, guitarist and extreme metal pioneer Dino Cazares (also of Brujeria and Asesino) began laying the foundation for a new project that would combine metallic aggression, muscular precision, and melodic accessibility. Upon joining forces with acclaimed drummer Tim Yeung (Morbid Angel, Vital Remains, Hate Eternal), and vocalist Tommy Vext (Bad Wolves, Snot), Cazares’ vision was realized, and Divine Heresy was born. The group’s 2007 debut, “Bleed The Fifth” – produced by former Machine Head/Soulfly guitarist Logan Mader (Gojira, Devildriver), and released in North America via Century Media Records and via Fear Factory’s longtime home, Roadrunner Records, in Europe – received rave reviews from the global metal press. Metal Hammer called Divine Heresy “a quintessential 21st Century American metal band,” while Kerrang! raved that the album “couldn’t be more metal if it hung a massive V around the neck of the Eiffel Tower while gargling liquid mercury.” After adding bassist Joe Payne (Nile), the band supported the album’s release by touring extensively alongside the likes of Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Static-X, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, Shadows Fall and Chimaira. Unfortunately, Divine Heresy’s initial lineup splintered in 2008 when Vext left the band, but Cazares, Yeung and Payne quickly rebounded with new vocalist Travis Neal (Dirge Within, The Bloodline) and released their second album, “Bringer of Plagues,” in 2009. Again, produced by Mader, the album – which cracked the Billboard Top 200 upon its release – was heavier than its predecessor, with AllMusic describing it as “a head-down, hair-pinwheeling metal album” and Kerrang! praising its “thunderous, jaw-dropping intensity.” Again, the band hit the road with gusto, touring with the likes of Moonspell, Gigan, After The Burial and 36 Crazyfists, but soon after Cazares re-joined a new-look Fear Factory, Divine Heresy went on hiatus. After more than a decade in hibernation, the time has finally come to shine a fresh light on Divine Heresy via the first-ever vinyl releases of “Bleed The Fifth” and “Bringer of Plagues.” “Bleed The Fifth” will be released on white vinyl, while “Bringer of Plagues” will be offered on clear wax.

HYPERDONTIA is a name that needs little introduction. In 2018 this Turkish-Danish Death Metal machine unleashed "A Nexus Of Teeth" which proved to be some of the most astounding Death Metal of recent years, earning the band a huge amount of respect. Along with a couple of EP's and a split with MORTIFERUM, we have seen the quality of their music remain consistently high. Now they return with their 2nd full length opus "Hideous Entity". The 40 minute length of the LP spans 8 songs, each of which proves to be a wondrous affair of punishing heaviness in its own right, but the sheer brutality and capability of HYPERDONTIA's songwriting / musical talent can only be truly unlocked when listening to "Hideous Entity" as a whole. Aptly titled, this distorted configuration of sounds is utterly abysmal in the best possible way. All of the instruments and vocals alike work in unison to provide a stoic and barbaric yet intricate tapestry of decimating sounds and contorted atmospherics. Reissue of “Being and Nothingness,” the acclaimed 2012 sophomore album from California neo-thrashers Hexen “Being and Nothingness” saw the band continue evolving the combination of old-school ferocity, with a more progressive new-school technicality and dark and socially conscious lyrics that helped them stand out in the fiercely competitive Southern California thrash revival that birthed acts such as Warbringer, Fueled By Fire, Merciless Death, Bonded By Blood and Exmortus. “Being and Nothingness” - originally released by Pulverised Records – saw original Hexen co-guitarist Artak Tavaratsyan return to the band after a hiatus of several years, bolstering the foundation laid on the previous record by the shredding guitar assault of Ronny Dorian, the precise drumming of Cruz and the dextrous bass and searing vocals of Andre Hartoonian. The band's second album – which featured cover art from renowned metal artist Kristian Wåhlin aka “Necrolord” (At The Gates, Dissection, Emperor) - was hailed by Metal Underground as “a roaring spectacle of glossy solos and intricate song writing” and was praised as “one of the more impressive thrash albums” of 2012 by Sputnik Music. Hexen disbanded soon after the release of “Being and Nothingness,” with band members turning their focus to academic and collegiate endeavours and Cruz joining Warbringer.

Richmond, VA-based harsh industrial metal deconstructors Hold ME Down reanimate their design for total sonic retaliation through their latest creation, Powerless, a debut full-length offering of caustic post-industrial punishment and complete sensorial undoing which follows brilliantly in the steps of their transformative 2019 Sentient Ruin-issued self-titled demo tape. As is now commonplace with bands and their releases associated with Sentient Ruin, an aura of ambivalence, reverence and transformation enshrouds this work, with the echoes of legendary industrial acts like Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Godflesh and Swans reverberating from the past and undergoing a future-projecting metamorphosis, as present time contaminants (power electronics, blackened noise, death industrial) enter the picture in an aberrant recombination of stylistic DNA, paving the way to groundbreaking and grim sonic transfigurations. Throughout its ten cold bursts of synthetic mechanized dissolution Hold Me Down explore concepts of withdrawal, personal failure, societal fracture and emotional unravelling through a bleak post-industrial disassociation where disorienting drum machines, vitriolic metal guitars, bleak soundscapes and oppressive electronics instigate a depersonalizing collapse within the listener.

Helsott's newest album, “Will and The Witch” - mixed and mastered by J-F Dagenais Kataklysm, Ex Deo) and featuring artwork by Felipe Machado Franco Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, Gamma Ray), is a concept record that tells a fictional story about how Billy The Kid became the fastest gunfighter in the wild west. The band returns to its musical roots on their latest record with heavier thrash overtones and less orchestral work than their prior record, while catching listeners off-guard with new influences befitting of the album's theme. Thrash metal, power metal, and death metal all converge with acoustic campfire segments, Southern banjo and fiddle, and Native American-inspired hand drums and flutes. The end result is a record that is musically ambitious while remaining melodic, thrashy, and true to the underlying sound of Helsott. Since their formation, the California-based Helsott – whose name means “fatal illness” in Old Norse – has paid homage to pagan cultures, mythology, and history while keeping true to their American influences. The group's unique mix of folk metal, death metal, symphonic metal, thrash, classical and rock was first unveiled to the world with the 2012 release of their debut EP “Fólkvangr.” The band soon caught the attention of audiences on a larger scale during the 2013 Paganfest North American tour, where they performed with Ensiferum, Tyr and Trollfest. That tour set the stage for the 2014 release of “Woven,” which was supported with tours alongside Arkona and Heidevolk. In the years since the original release of “Woven,” Helsott signed with M-Theory Audio, released another EP 2017’s “The Healer”) and a second full-length 2018’s “Slaves and Gods”) and logged many touring miles worldwide with artists including Korpiklaani, I Am Morbid, Necrophagia, Tengger Cavalry, Ashes of Ares, Felix Martin, Arkona, Skyforger and Finsterforst. In addition, the band performed at major European festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Cernunnos Pagan Fest. “Woven” was also remixed, remastered, and re-released by M-Theory Audio in November 2020 in celebration of the group's 10th anniversary.

The show was filmed as the band was riding a wave of popularity due to their recent breakthrough third album, 'The Angel & the Dark River' (plus their tour with British metal legends Iron Maiden in the winter of 1995), showcasing several tracks from that release such as 'The Cry of Mankind' and 'Your Shameful Heaven', as well as renditions of other established numbers such as 'The Crown of Sympathy' and 'The Forever People'.
