The and Salomon XT-Slate is equipped with waffle fabric upper with embossed details plus thermoplastic overlays with lines that evoke the image of a rocky trail landscape. The Quicklace™ system of the Salomon XT-Slate makes it easy to put on and take off as well as adjust the fit. For the sole, Salomon used Advanced Chassis™ construction for high stability and excellent cushioning and its proprietary Contagrip technology which offers lots of grip and durability to make these fine sneakers suitable for various terrains and movements. Contagrip soles are made from a mix of different compounds with different densities. This means that different zones of the outsole are softer or harder, depending where they're placed. Areas that are prone to wearing out faster have harder-wearing high density compounds e.g. the edge of the outsole.

The and Salomon XT-Slate is equipped with waffle fabric upper with embossed details plus thermoplastic overlays with lines that evoke the image of a rocky trail landscape. The Quicklace™ system of the Salomon XT-Slate makes it easy to put on and take off as well as adjust the fit. For the sole, Salomon used Advanced Chassis™ construction for high stability and excellent cushioning and its proprietary Contagrip technology which offers lots of grip and durability to make these fine sneakers suitable for various terrains and movements. Contagrip soles are made from a mix of different compounds with different densities. This means that different zones of the outsole are softer or harder, depending where they're placed. Areas that are prone to wearing out faster have harder-wearing high density compounds e.g. the edge of the outsole.
