Hand-Numbered, Limited to 500. Big Boss Man have produced a hip-Hammond hybrid of 60's R'n'b, Latin, Soul, Bongo-Fuzz and Funk since 1998. As well as playing hundreds of concerts and festivals across the UK, Europe and even Russia, Big Boss Man's music may sound familiar to you, being regularly played on film and television, including Come Dine With Me, Strictly Come Dancing and I Used To Be Famous, and broadcast on BBC Radio, by presenters including Gideon Coe, Cerys Matthews and Craig Charles. Their track 'Party 7' was featured in the international Nike World Football '06 Campaign advert featuring Thierry Henry and Eric Cantana. The entire soundtrack to The Mighty Boosh's Bafta nominated short film "Sweet" was provided from tracks taken from the Big Boss Man's "Humanize" album. Limited to 300 copies.The Groove Connection formed in Medway, Kent during the early '90's, amongst the Acid Jazz heyday, playing clubs, pubs and festivals up and down the land with their urban jazz-funk grooves. Theband comprised of usually six to eight members over the years, including Mark 'Bertie' Gilbert, the former (initial) bass player from The Milkshakes, and was originally an instrumental project, withvocals added later giving the band further appeal.Recording/releasing their first CD EP in 1996 (In Full Pursuit), described by Blues & Soul as 'an impressive debut set', The Groove Connection also released a 7" vinyl single in 1998 (What It Is), whichwas produced by respected DJ and percussionist Snowboy. A year later, their first album 'Infiltration' was released. All releases were via their own NeuJaz label.As well as working with Snowboy, the band also supported Jamiroquai twice in 1997 (at Finsbury's Jam in the Park and the Phoenix Festival), as well as playing to a full house at the Jazz Cafe,Camden on many occasions, and the band toured the UK as part of the Messin' Around Jazz Cotech collaboration.In 1999, the band found themselves on the Verve Records' released compilation 'Messin' Around Presents Root Down', alongside Lalo Schifrin, Jimmy Smith, The JBs, and Roy Ayers to name just afew. In 2001 the band recorded, and released their second album 'Back To Brooklyn', introducing vocalist Laura Knight and guest hammond virtuoso Gary Baldwin, a ten-track full-length, CD-onlyrelease. Other tracks were recorded in the same session…Two tracks that didn't make the last album were 'Can You Hear Me' and 'When I'm With You', both vocal filled, and we've decided to capture them onto two continuous 'grooves'.

"Déjà Vu" is the title track to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's first album as a quartet. With Neil Young now in the mix, the album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after its release in March 1970. The album remains a high point for the supergroup, having sold more than 7 million copies. Also on the record are hit singles "Teach Your Children," "Our House," and a cover of Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock."

The late David Crosby penned "Déjà Vu" for the group. Though it wasn't released as a single, it gave that iconic album its name and has subsequently received its fair share of love from CSNY fans.

"I'm one of those people who thinks we go round again," said Crosby back in 2008. "The Buddhists have got it right. It's a wheel and we get on and get off. I think life energy gets recycled. That's why I wrote ‘Déjà Vu.'"

CSNY took a while to craft the album-which is largely considered their magnum opus. "Getting that second album out of us was like pulling teeth, there was song after song that didn't make it," Stephen Stills once said. "The track ‘Déjà Vu' must have meant 100 takes in the studio. But ‘Carry On' happened in a grand total of eight hours from conception to finished master. So you never know."

All the hallmarks of a top-notch Analogue Productions reissue are here for you to savor: Mastered directly from the original master tape by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and cut at 45 RPM. Pressed at Quality Record Pressings, and housed in a tip-on old style gatefold double pocket jacket with textured stock by Stoughton Printing.

Recorded between Lausanne and Brussels during summer 2019, this new series of songs by Meril Wubslin dig deeper into this tribal, rustic and minimal tendency that they had in the two previous albums. It is the desire to search for sounds, to manipulate matter: sound matter, rhythmic matter, to knead it to its hottest point, that guided the work of composition. All vintage guitars were recorded without amps. Tambourines and other maracas were approached as a drum kit. But the harmonies and melodies are still present and sometimes event enhanced by the occasional participation of a choir of female voices or a minimal synth line. Always with this desire to use French, their mother tongue, while trying to avoid the trap of « variété française ».

With this new album, we wanted to try something slightly different with the sound. Explore new ways to record our instruments and voices. Thus we decided to put away the amplifiers that we used for rockier moods. And we tried the acoustic option. We were surprised by the wide range of possibilities, much more direct and much more emotional actually. About the texts, we still insist on this open way of writing, a mixture of abstract and concrete which offers several understandings. With this liberty in the structure, we avoid the predominance of the message, to go towards a more sensitive and open meaning.
