The Ortlieb Duffle RS combines high travel comfort with the extreme demands of expedition bags. For the increased requirement of heavy-duty use, a roller system was developed that is integrated waterproof into the body of the bag. The 100 mm wheels, together with the stiffened base plate made of profiled aluminum, provide optimum ground clearance, which is the ideal prerequisite for transport off paved roads. Since lightweight luggage plays an important role, especially when traveling by air, the Ortlieb Duffle RS was deliberately designed without a heavy telescopic linkage - instead, a length-adjustable handle is used, which ensures comfortable pulling behind with high legroom. The full foam padding at the bottom of the Ortlieb Duffle RS bag provides the best stability when fully loaded. Quick access to the equipment allows the waterproof TiZiP zipper running the entire length of the bag, which can be locked using the integrated wire shackle and a small cable lock, which is not included here.
