Launched in 2013, the Salomon XT-6 has always been the preferred shoe of world-class athletes for extreme long-distance racing in the toughest conditions. The current version of the Salomon XT-6 has been redesigned with new colors and materials, but still offers the proven cushioning, durability and control for downhill. A cushioning EVA layer protects the foot and provides soft landings on your adventures over hill and dale, while the lightweight, optimized construction of the Salomon XT-6 relies on a combo of resistant TPU film and durable mesh, and the downhill chassis plus lug geometry provide optimal stability on long runs. Currently, Salomon offers the XT-6 with a PFC-free Gore-Tex membrane to provide all-around protection for feet in wet winter conditions. Underneath the Gore-Tex membrane that wraps the upper sits a closed weave construction that won't let a pebble through.

Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex - Features:

• Textile & abrasion resistant TPU upper: durable material that efficiently defies environmental elements to limit wear and tear.
• Gore-Tex membrane: Based on expanded polyethylene (ePE), the new, ultra-lightweight Gore-Tex membrane offers waterproof performance and reliable breathability, while reducing the ecological footprint.
• Soft, breathable textile lining
• Agile Chassis™ System: ACS provides stability and cushioning and works in conjunction with the EnergyCell midsole.
• EndoFit™: An internal shank wraps the foot in just the right places for a precise fit.
• Mud Contagrip®: The Mud Contagrip® sole, with its grip-focused material blend and deep, sharp-edged lug design, provides maximum grip on loose, soft, rugged or uneven surfaces.
• Single ME:sh® layer: A single ME:sh® layer close to the foot for maximum feel.
• Lace pocket for easy storage of the Quicklace™ lacing system.
• SensiFit™: SensiFit™ wraps the foot from midsole to lacing system for a secure, close-to-the-foot and just-as-custom fit all over the foot.
• Molded OrthoLite® insole: The OrthoLite® insole is molded to fit the contours of the foot. It delivers superior cushioning, air permeability and durability to enhance the comfort and performance of your shoe.

Established in Japan in 1947, Edwin founder K.K. Tsunemi had a passion for denim pants, which inspired him to import them directly from the United States as no denim was manufactured in Japan at that time. Used, worn-out and dirty denim which had to be laundered and mended by hand in order to sell on to his customers. In 1961 Mr. Tsunemi crafted the first pair of Edwin denim jeans; utilizing the letters D, E, N, I plus M (reversing the M creating a W), he created the brand name Edwin. By 1963 Edwin had produced the world’s heaviest ring-spun denim jeans (16 oz), featuring the famous three-color rainbow selvedge, which is still being used today. In the 1970s, Edwin were the first company in the world to develop old wash designed to replicate denim which have been worn from its rigid, unwashed state traditionally designed for workwear due to its durability. In the 1980s, Edwin revolutionized the whole denim world by inventing the process of stone washing. Nowadays, Edwin offers some of the most wanted vintage denim pants and uses exclusive fabrics and fabrication, unique technology, hand wash processes, and continual progression in design and fit. Made from elitist Kurabo Red Rainbow selvage recycled denim, the classic Edwin five pocket construction Regular Tapered Jeans are equipped with features such as a branded front center button, a button fly, an off-centered Edwin leather label at the rear of the waistband, a back yoke, signature stitching on back pockets, contrast stitching as well as metal rivets or bartack stitching at vital stress points. Regular fit with lower waist and tapered legs from the knee down; 100% recycled cotton Nihon Kurabo red selvage recycled denim, 14 oz. Made in Japan.

The classic Edwin five pocket construction ED-55 Denim Pants are equipped with features such as a branded front center button, a button fly, an off-centered Edwin leather label at the rear of the waistband, a back yoke, signature stitching on back pockets, contrast stitching as well as metal rivets or bartack stitching at vital stress points. For its Fall/Winter '24 collection, adidas has teamed up with Wales Bonner, a real heavyweight in the world of fashion. Wales Bonner is a London-based menswear label that has been pursuing a unique concept since 2014, combining European heritage with an Afro-Atlantic spirit.

The superstar by adidas has long since become a legend, an institution in the sneaker landscape, and it's precisely for this reason that the name of this adidas icon perfectly describes its status. No other shoe has been embraced by so many people from so many different cultural backgrounds as the adidas Superstar, which is partly due to its minimalist design and partly to its exceptional comfort. Since the Superstar conquered the market in 1969, its influence on the design of athletic footwear has been enormous: for example, it was one of the first designs to be able to distinguish itself through clearly defined branding.

The version remixed for the adidas x Wales Bonner collab only resembles the original Superstar in terms of shape and a few basics – the most striking innovations are the use of a croc-embossed texture on the leather upper, satin-finished textile lining as well as deco stitching at heel.

The adidas x Wales Bonner Superstar Lo Croc's features include:

• upper: croc-embossed patent leather
• rubber shell toe box
• satin-finished textile lining
• 3 Stripes patent leather appliqués on side walls
• foam-padded insole
• EVA foam midsole
• abrasion-resistent rubber cupsole
• deco-stitching at heel patch
• adidas x Wales Bonner gold foil label graphic embossed on tongue
• Superstar gold foil lettering embossed on side wall
• adidas Trefoil resp. Wales Bonner gold foil logo embossed on heel patch

Established in 1876 by George Henry Bass, G.H. Bass & Co. strived for perfection from the beginning: The company's humble goal was to create simply the best shoe human hands could produce. The year 1936 marked a milestone in G.H. Bass & Co. history as the brand's designers created the legendary Weejun by putting a signature twist on farm shoes out of Norway. This iconic footwear item was designed for simply loafing the field, so it could be entitled the world's first penny loafer. For the last 80 years, G.H. Bass & Co.'s Weejuns cemented their place in fashion history books - these super-stylish casual shoes have been the item of their choice by opinion leaders as well as game-changing musicians and artists. The G.H. Bass & Co. Weejuns are still made from best quality leathers while hand-stitching and comfortable soles add an appropriate finish. Too bad the one and only king of pop passed away so he cannot be asked about it, but some people are sure the moonwalk couldn’t be done the way it was done without Weejuns.

The Skykomish Boots of the Filson x Birkenstock collection is a striking example of how two renowned brands combine their respective strengths in a unique collaboration. For the current season, the traditional brands have joined forces to present a small but exquisite shoe collection that combines both the rustic, functional aesthetics of Filson and the proven craftsmanship of Birkenstock.

The Filson x Birkenstock collaboration is part of Birkenstock's exclusive 1774 line, named after the brand's historical origins. The collection is characterized by creative partnerships that prioritize the highest quality and time-honored manufacturing techniques. Working closely with like-minded brands like Filson, which share a passion for design and precision craftsmanship, the collection creates shoes that build on the signature characteristics of Birkenstock and interpret them through a new artistic lens.

Individual components of each pair in the Filson x Birkenstock collection are manufactured in German workshops using specially procured materials that are made from a high percentage of natural resources. These sustainable materials, combined with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, guarantee not only outstanding comfort but also durability and a long lifespan. Before the shoes go on sale, they undergo rigorous quality testing to ensure that they meet the high standards of both brands.

The design of the Filson x Birkenstock Skykomish Boots remains deeply rooted in the roots of Birkenstock. Each model begins with the characteristic molded Birkenstock footbed, known for its ergonomic support and exceptional comfort. But this base is enhanced by Filson's distinctive aesthetic. The upper is made from Filson's iconic Tin Cloth material, which is not only sturdy but also weatherproof, giving the shoes a rustic, utilitarian look.

The vamp is made from premium oiled nubuck leather, which adds a sophisticated yet durable touch. An additional protective cap made of textured rubber offers zonal protection, perfect for outdoor adventures or everyday wear, where sturdy shoes are essential. The dense stitching is both functional and aesthetic, and recalls the iconic shape of the Birkenstock footbed, further emphasizing the connection between the two brands.

Other functional details such as the zipper make them easy to put on and take off, while the Filson x Birkenstock patch made of oiled nubuck leather, including the Birkenstock foot logo, stylishly emphasizes the collaboration. The deep blue footbed provides comfort and support, offering both cushioning and grip, while the professional-inspired rubber outsole with lugs ensures true durability and traction on any surface. The cork walking board in the midsole rounds off the design with signature Birkenstock comfort.

Overall, the Skykomish Boots out of the the Filson x Birkenstock collection, made in Portugal, embody the best of both worlds: Filson's functionality and durability meet Birkenstock's ergonomic excellence and comfort – a perfect shoe for adventurers and style-conscious wearers alike.
