Tsunemi had a passion for denim pants, which inspired him to import them directly from the United States as no denim was manufactured in Japan at that time. By 1963 Edwin had produced the world’s heaviest ring-spun denim jeans (16 oz), featuring the famous three-color rainbow selvedge, which is still being used today. In the 1970s, Edwin were the first company in the world to develop old wash designed to replicate denim which have been worn from its rigid, unwashed state traditionally designed for workwear due to its durability. In the 1980s, Edwin revolutionized the whole denim world by inventing the process of stone washing. Established in 1876 by George Henry Bass, G.H. Bass & Co. strived for perfection from the beginning: The company's humble goal was to create simply the best shoe human hands could produce. The year 1936 marked a milestone in G.H. Bass & Co. history as the brand's designers created the legendary Weejun by putting a signature twist on farm shoes out of Norway. This iconic footwear item was designed for simply loafing the field, so it could be entitled the world's first penny loafer. For the last 80 years, G.H. Bass & Co.'s Weejuns cemented their place in fashion history books - these super-stylish casual shoes have been the item of their choice by opinion leaders as well as game-changing musicians and artists. The G.H. Bass & Co. Weejuns are still made from best quality leathers while hand-stitching and comfortable soles add an appropriate finish. Too bad the one and only king of pop passed away so he cannot be asked about it, but some people are sure the moonwalk couldn’t be done the way it was done without Weejuns.

• raised U seam with classic moc stitching at forefoot

The adidas Radlander EQT is a shoe that was originally developed as part of the legendary Equipment collection and has established itself as a reliable companion for difficult outdoor terrain. The current reissue of this adidas mid-top shoe retains the original spirit: a design that is both sturdy and functional, designed specifically for the challenges of the great outdoors.

One outstanding feature of the Radlander EQT is its waterproof membrane and the large cover over the lacing. This innovative construction prevents the penetration of stones, dirt and moisture, which is particularly advantageous on rough terrain. The protection remains designed in such a way that the comfort and flexibility of the shoe are not compromised. This way, you are well protected on your outdoor adventures without sacrificing freedom of movement.

The upper material of the adidas Radlander EQT is made of high-quality suede with a water-repellent finish. This material not only ensures that the shoe is durable and sturdy, but also helps to make it ready for any weather. The adidas Radlander EQT can withstand even the most adverse conditions, whether it's rain, mud or rough terrain. Its durability makes it the perfect footwear item for adventurers who need to be able to rely on their equipment.

Another key feature of this shoe is the world-famous torsion system by adidas, which is integrated into the rubber outsole. This system was developed to adapt perfectly to the natural movement of the foot and to provide maximum stability and support. It promotes an optimal rolling movement and helps to stabilize the foot even on uneven terrain. This technology makes the Radlander EQT by adidas not only a reliable companion in nature, but also a comfortable shoe for everyday wear.

In addition to these technical features, the soft, breathable textile lining on the inside of the shoe provides additional comfort. The padded shaft offers a comfortable fit and prevents pressure points on the ankle, so you can stay comfortable even on long hikes. Despite its sturdy exterior, these details make the shoe comfortable and pleasant to wear, even for extended periods.

The adidas Radlander EQT is the perfect combination of functionality and style. It brings back the original outdoor spirit of the equipment line, combined with modern technologies and materials. Whether you're out on rough terrain or looking for a stylish, weatherproof shoe for everyday wear, the Radlander EQT offers you reliable protection, comfort and durability in any situation.

The Skykomish Boots of the Filson x Birkenstock collection is a striking example of how two renowned brands combine their respective strengths in a unique collaboration. For the current season, the traditional brands have joined forces to present a small but exquisite shoe collection that combines both the rustic, functional aesthetics of Filson and the proven craftsmanship of Birkenstock.

The Filson x Birkenstock collaboration is part of Birkenstock's exclusive 1774 line, named after the brand's historical origins. The collection is characterized by creative partnerships that prioritize the highest quality and time-honored manufacturing techniques. Working closely with like-minded brands like Filson, which share a passion for design and precision craftsmanship, the collection creates shoes that build on the signature characteristics of Birkenstock and interpret them through a new artistic lens.

Individual components of each pair in the Filson x Birkenstock collection are manufactured in German workshops using specially procured materials that are made from a high percentage of natural resources. These sustainable materials, combined with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, guarantee not only outstanding comfort but also durability and a long lifespan. Before the shoes go on sale, they undergo rigorous quality testing to ensure that they meet the high standards of both brands.

The design of the Filson x Birkenstock Skykomish Boots remains deeply rooted in the roots of Birkenstock. Each model begins with the characteristic molded Birkenstock footbed, known for its ergonomic support and exceptional comfort. But this base is enhanced by Filson's distinctive aesthetic. The upper is made from Filson's iconic Tin Cloth material, which is not only sturdy but also weatherproof, giving the shoes a rustic, utilitarian look.

The vamp is made from premium oiled nubuck leather, which adds a sophisticated yet durable touch. An additional protective cap made of textured rubber offers zonal protection, perfect for outdoor adventures or everyday wear, where sturdy shoes are essential. The dense stitching is both functional and aesthetic, and recalls the iconic shape of the Birkenstock footbed, further emphasizing the connection between the two brands.

Other functional details such as the zipper make them easy to put on and take off, while the Filson x Birkenstock patch made of oiled nubuck leather, including the Birkenstock foot logo, stylishly emphasizes the collaboration. The deep blue footbed provides comfort and support, offering both cushioning and grip, while the professional-inspired rubber outsole with lugs ensures true durability and traction on any surface. The cork walking board in the midsole rounds off the design with signature Birkenstock comfort.

Overall, the Skykomish Boots out of the the Filson x Birkenstock collection, made in Portugal, embody the best of both worlds: Filson's functionality and durability meet Birkenstock's ergonomic excellence and comfort – a perfect shoe for adventurers and style-conscious wearers alike.

In 1961 Mr. Tsunemi crafted the first pair of Edwin denim jeans; utilizing the letters D, E, N, I plus M (reversing the M creating a W), he created the brand name Edwin. Nowadays, Edwin offers some of the most wanted vintage denim pants and uses exclusive fabrics and fabrication, unique technology, hand wash processes, and continual progression in design and fit. Inspired by the classic ED-47 five pocket construction, the ED-47 Regular Straight Denim Pants are equipped with features such as a branded front center button, a button fly, an off-centered Edwin leather label at the rear of the waistband, a back yoke, signature stitching on back pockets, contrast stitching as well as metal rivets or bartack stitching at vital stress points. Regular fit with high waistline and straight legs; 100% cotton Kaihara Dark Pure Indigo Rainbow Selvage Denim, 13.5 oz. Made in Japan.
