The B3 jacket by Engineered Garments is a modern take on the classic pilot's blouson, which was originally used as the B3 flight jacket in the U.S. Army Air Corps (USAAC). This iconic jacket, which originated in the 1930s, was once designed to keep pilots warm in the open cockpits of the time. Engineered Garments has taken this historic design and made some clever adjustments to transform it into a garment that fits perfectly into today's urban lifestyle.

One of the most striking features of the B3 jacket from Engineered Garments is the outer material. Instead of using heavy leather, as was the case with the originals, the modern version is made of a weatherproof cotton-polyester poplin.
