The Corridor Liebes Jacket was made in a third-generation, family-run business that has a daycare center and garden and pays a living wage to the artisans who create the goods. The workshop is located in Madras, India, and combines modern-day equipment (Japanese sewing machines) with traditional handwork (hand embroidery, hand-woven fabrics, natural dyeing) to create a product that is authentic and contemporary. It is a predominantly women-run factory that collaborates with a rehabilitation center for women exposed to domestic violence.
