Even supposedly clean records are covered with dust, partly visible, partly invisible in the groove. It contains particles of silicates, polymers and organic matter. After application, it evaporates without residue. Flux fluid is applied on a specially designed pad made of the finest PE fibers. Already these fibers produce a capillary effect, which is very similar to the effect of a liquid, due to their number and the resulting density. In combination with FLUX-Fluid, the result is a perfect combination that transmits the vibration and absorbs the dirt at the same time. The application is recommended before each play.

Magnetically Stabilized Record Broom

Easy and effective cleaning arm

Record brooms have been around since the early 1970s. Some of them do a good job, some rather not. In many cases the brush rushes towards the middle of the platter, running out of sync with the tonearm. This phenomenon is known as skating. Recent developments aim to tackle this problem. Here the highly efficient neodymium magnet comes into play. These magnets are used to stabilize the record broom of the Sweep it S2. Sweep it S2 is constructed in collaboration with Klaus Mick and uses his patented technology to stabilize the record broom. Extensive theoretical and empirical research has been put into the development of this product.
The magnetic attraction between the neodymium magnet – based in the top part of the cylinder – and the [Fe] core/counterweight stabilizes the record brush. Moreover, the distance between the neodymium magnet and the [Fe] core/counterweight is carefully chosen to ensure a specific magnetic stabilization force. As the aluminium of the brusharm is paramagnetic, it acts like an additional space between the neodymium magnet and the [Fe] core/counterweight.
Sweep it S2 is height adjustable within a range of about 1cm. The position can be locked with the set screw on the base. With this mechanism, it is possible to adjust the height of the arm of the record broom in order to align it horizontally with the platter. A correct horizontal alignment ensures the correct tracking force of about 6g.
Flexible placement

The record broom can be placed in one of two left hand side corners of the turntable. The placement is depending on the type and shape of your turntable. At the optimal position the brush should align with the spindle (i.e. the center of the platter). Deviations (relative to the spindle) between 1,5 to 2 cm are well compensated by design of the Sweep it S2. Higher deviations can cause more drastic skating effects.

Our record washing machine Disco-Antistat Ultrasonic combines over 45 years of experience in the care and cleaning of records with highly developed, state-of-the-art cleaning technology.

The combination of ultrasonic cleaning and our proven goat hair brush system ensures gentle, groove-deep cleaning of your records and an audible improvement in the sound image.

During operation, the cleaning fluid is permanently clarified by a filter system and dirt particles are filtered out to minimise impurities in the fluid and thus achieve the best possible cleaning result.
With our special cleaner, the record is treated antistatically and thus permanently prevented from renewed soiling by adhering dust.
Our washer is ready for use in just a few steps and the intuitive operation ensures optimal results from the very first record!

• The cleaning time can be conveniently adjusted to the level of soiling of the record, supported by a functional display. Possible cleaning time is between 1-5 minutes and can be set in steps of 10 seconds.
• A well visible progress indicator informs about the status of the cleaning at a glance. (1 LED = 10% of the set cleaning time).
• After use, the filtered cleaning fluid can be conveniently refilled into the bottle by pressing a button via the new solenoid valve.
• The permanent filtering of the liquid prevents it from accumulating coarse dirt particles. This ensures a consistent cleaning result.
• The aluminium-glass filter can be easily removed and reinstalled for cleaning.
• Inserting and removing the record is quick and easy thanks to the innovative magnetic coupling.
• Driven by a Bosch electric motor, the record rotates evenly in the new fibreglass-reinforced tub, achieving a homogeneous treatment with ultrasound (46kHz.).

Disco-Antistat Ultrasonic
Cleanliness you can hear! A powerful ultrasonic transducer (46kHz.) generates with so-called cavitation bubbles that act directly on the dirt and remove it gently and effectively.
The ultrasonic waves also reach places that are inaccessible to conventional cleaning methods and ensure cleanliness down to the depth of the groove.
The loosened dirt particles are then brushed off with the soft goat hair brushes.
