Disco-Antistat BiDest is a high-purity special water, such as is used in laboratories or cosmetics. All dissolved substances have been removed from the water by means of complex physical processes, which means that it is pure H2O, in contrast to the water available in DIY stores, for example. Therefore, it is ideally suited for all applications where purest water is required. For an optimal cleaning result with our Disco-Antistat Ultraclean concentrate, we therefore recommend the use of Disco-Antistat BiDest for the preparation of the cleaning liquid. Of course, Disco-Antistat BiDest is also suitable for a variety of other applications.

Magnetically Stabilized Record Broom

Easy and effective cleaning arm

Record brooms have been around since the early 1970s. Some of them do a good job, some rather not. In many cases the brush rushes towards the middle of the platter, running out of sync with the tonearm. This phenomenon is known as skating. Recent developments aim to tackle this problem. Here the highly efficient neodymium magnet comes into play. These magnets are used to stabilize the record broom of the Sweep it S2. Sweep it S2 is constructed in collaboration with Klaus Mick and uses his patented technology to stabilize the record broom. Extensive theoretical and empirical research has been put into the development of this product.
The magnetic attraction between the neodymium magnet – based in the top part of the cylinder – and the [Fe] core/counterweight stabilizes the record brush. Moreover, the distance between the neodymium magnet and the [Fe] core/counterweight is carefully chosen to ensure a specific magnetic stabilization force. As the aluminium of the brusharm is paramagnetic, it acts like an additional space between the neodymium magnet and the [Fe] core/counterweight.
Sweep it S2 is height adjustable within a range of about 1cm. The position can be locked with the set screw on the base. With this mechanism, it is possible to adjust the height of the arm of the record broom in order to align it horizontally with the platter. A correct horizontal alignment ensures the correct tracking force of about 6g.
Flexible placement

The record broom can be placed in one of two left hand side corners of the turntable. The placement is depending on the type and shape of your turntable. At the optimal position the brush should align with the spindle (i.e. the center of the platter). Deviations (relative to the spindle) between 1,5 to 2 cm are well compensated by design of the Sweep it S2. Higher deviations can cause more drastic skating effects.

Winyl One-Touch contains an innovative solid polyurethane (PU) polymer, specially designed to provide exceptional cleaning for record player stylus needles to ensure top quality sound.

The polymer is soft and highly elastic, with strong adhesive properties to remove dust and microscopic dirt, reducing surface noise and distortion on the playback. In addition, its cleaning system allows to clean the corner-gap between cantilever and stylus.
The polymer has been developed to ensure that it leaves no residue on the stylus, due to its dry-cleaning system, liquid-free.

One-Touch is safe and easy-to-use. Place the headshell above the polymer, lower the cartridge slowly until the stylus needle is inserted into the polymer, lift it up. The dirt will adhere to the polymer surface, leaving the needle clean.

One-Touch Polymer is washable and reusable. If the surface of the polymer becomes heavy soiled after repeated uses, simply rinse it with tap water and rub gently the surface with a finger to loosen dirt. Drain and let dry. The polymer will recover its cleaning properties to use it again. By keeping One-Touch in good condition, you will be able to use it for years with the same effectiveness as the first day.

Sweep it E goes the other way. You can enjoy listening to your records while they are being cleaned. Simply place Sweep it E on your turntable and make sure that the brush is placed before the needle. This way the grooves will get clean right before the cartridge can pick up sound from it.
