With the help of the specially developed glue dots, the boxes and modules can be easily stacked - without any screws or tools. According to the instructions, the glue dots are attached to the clean contact surfaces of the boxes to protect them against slipping and tipping. The adhesive dots can be removed at any time without leaving any residue and enable extensions or new arrangements with new adhesive dots. To connect two boxes together, four adhesive dots are needed.

A construction height of up to three boxes is recommended within the modular system. Record Box also offers a wall mounting set for security, which enables the furniture to be connected to the wall using a bracket, two screws and a dowel.

In 1949, RCA Victor unveiled its latest invention, the 45 rpm 7 inch Vinyl Record in an effort to compete with Columbia Records newly developed 33 1/3 12 inch disc. Time constraints aside, what RCA unleashed on the world of recorded music was the perfect vehicle for the burgeoning youth market, who could now easily own the latest musical dispatches from their favorite artists, in a convenient and affordable medium.

Seventy years later, the 45 or 7 inch record has remained a staple of the vinyl collecting community. From highly valuable pressings of the world’s greatest songs to rare independent recordings of artists utilizing the format to put out “non-album” outtakes or live recordings as a gift for their fans, the 7 inch collector is a dedicated and specialized breed and they deserve to store those precious discs in the best way possible. And as with our 12 inch Vinyl Storage boxes, we have designed what we believe to be the most beautiful, and durable 7 inch storage available.

Our 7 Inch Vinyl Storage Music Box has been constructed of the same edge glued Oak of our 12 inch Music Boxes. The 45 degree mitered joints have been reinforced by an internal series of wooden dowels for even greater structural integrity. With the set of roll container, register and storage boxes, Record Box is making an attractive offer for passionate vinyl collectors: Buying a set represents a price advantage compared to buying the components individually and offers an uncomplicated and individual solution for the mobile storage of records and more.
When developing the Record Box furniture system, the specific needs of vinyl collectors were directly taken into account. In this way, the storage box and the register box can be easily attached to the rollboard and added to a piece of furniture that is as practical as it is attractive. The register box is the top end and invites you to leaf through the records stored in it.
The three modular pieces are connected using specially developed glue dots that can be easily removed at any time. In the blink of an eye you can create a side table, a roll container, coffee table or record shelf that can be moved freely around the room.
The furniture is made of high quality MDF with a robust melamine coating and offers an attractive price-performance ratio.
The set is available in black and white, offering space for around 200 records and, like the other modules of the Record Box furniture system, is used to implement creative and individual solutions for vinyl storage and presentation.

The 10 inch record has a long history dating back to 1947 and offered exclusively by Columbia Records at the time. The 10 Inch Record was revolutionary in that it offered a chance for labels and artists to present more songs on a single platter than previous iterations. The 10 inch record was originally marketed as a 'Long Playing' or LP record and reigned supreme until about 1954 with the advent and popularity of the 12 inch Record. Still and all, this proud slab of wax continues to live in hearts and bins of many collectors.

The 10 inch record is often offered as a unique keepsake for fans and a chance for an artist to release a superior sound quality recording when cut at 45 rpm. Deep uncrowded grooves!

This special Music Box has been designed to specifically hold and protect 10 inch Vinyl Records. It can used vertically or horizontally.

As with all our Oak Music Boxes we use 18mm thick edge glued Oak and 'tongue and groove' joinery in the construction and our oil is composed of Cooked Linseed, White Spirits, pigment and siccatief (a drying agent).

With the Record Box Highboard Det with 6 boxes for 12-inch records + top & baseboards, an individual piece of furniture can be constructed in no time, which offers vinyl collectors plenty of space for the presentation and storage of their records. In combination with the top and baseboards, the six record boxes create an approximately 1.08 m wide, 76 cm high and 36 cm deep highboard with space for more than 600 records.
Compared to buying the boxes and boards individually, the set offers an attractive price and is an ideal starter set for vinyl lovers who want to gradually expand their existing collection.
