"Beatnicks Tape": All tracks produced by Hubert Daviz in April/May 2008. The original release "Beatnicks Tape #01" included 13 tracks. These tracks have been released for free download in summer 2008 on the Cologne based record label Up My Alley. The work on this beat tape started as an attempt of getting familiar with one's first own equipment. Original text from the back cover: "lots of vinyl, 1 MPC2500, 1 Microkorg, hands on."

"Damage Is Done": All tracks produced by Flako & Hubert Daviz between December 2007 & June 2008. Unreleased beat tape from the joint collaboration with Flako (going by the name of "Damage Is Done"). The original version was completed by Flako on June 21, 2008 and included 8 tracks. "Woop, Wooop.."

After their 2015 EP "Dinosaur" Hubert & Mehmet are finally back with a new record.

It's been a long journey from playing shows while mostly improvising on stage to spending countless hours in the studio shelter before they finally shaped all those improvised sketches into the beautiful album that has become "A Common Third" - Outstanding beat music for Hip Hop heads and open minded jazz lovers alike.

Proudly presented by Daily Concept. In a world full of inequality and artificial norms that no longer have anything in common with our nature, it's easy to see what divides and separates us. In such a time, despite all the borders, it's important to find and recognize the common third. In its purest form, Hubert & Mehmet stand for exactly this. In order to make the unity visible, they created this album. So it was only a logical consequence to give the work the title "A Common Third". No matter what divides us, we should also look for what brings us together.

The vinyl edition is limited to 300 copies and comes in a sealed heavy old-fashioned cardboard sleeve, the record itself is packed in a protective poly-innersleeve. A free download code plus a BJINT logo sticker round up the packaging.

Radio Juicy presents the new album by the Canadian producer invention_. This time around he takes us on a fantastic journey into the Islands of Hawaii. The beautiful nature of the Islands is like a fever dream, with so many colors and verdant lush fauna. He actually went there on a creative journey during which he took many photos and composed these songs while being inspired by the incredible environment. The producer’s own mixes – recently rediscovered – of his seminal EP, expanded with bonus tracks and now available in a special instrumental edition.

When Ruff Draft saw its initial release in 2003, J Dilla possessed production skills on par with anyone in hip-hop – technically and creatively. “At the top of his game,” says longtime friend and collaborator, Karriem Riggins. After years of building while modestly deferring to others of both greater and lesser notoriety, Dilla finally completed the first solo endeavor on his own label, entirely on his own terms. The significance of such an autonomous success often gets overlooked, and partly accounts for why Ruff Draft is one of the lesser-referenced entries in Dilla’s oeuvre. “It’s a mysterious little project,” says his mother, Maureen Yancey. “But out of his entire career, that was the happiest time.”
Prior to recording the EP, Dilla found himself at a crossroads. Estranged from his label, MCA, and separated from the mother of his youngest daughter, frustration abounded both personally and professionally. Dilla spent parts of 2002 and 2003 working on an album for MCA that featured his rapping over contributions from other producers with whom he had connected and whose music he respected. At the time, he was known primarily for his beats, yet reviled for his MCing by most anyone not from his hometown of Detroit. The project was to be an intentional freak of the industry.
The project would go on to spur his collaborative album with Madlib, Jaylib, and would first showcase the template that he would take to his greatest heights with 2006’s Donuts. The Stones Throw reissue of Ruff Draft from 2008 featured remixes of the songs from the album, done without Dilla’s involvement. This version of the album takes Dilla’s recently discovered mixes of the album and restores his vision for the project.

The Quiet Respite is a story of the triumphant highs and hollow lows that we experience as we move through this realm and into the next.

Jabbu's debut LP with Inner Ocean Records has been carefully crafted to take you on an instrumental ride into the great beyond. Mixing a wide range of genres (such as ambient, trip-hop, new-age, and synthwave), The Quiet Respite is a hypnotic mix of colourful synthesizers and percussion coming together to form a timeless piece of art.

Kicking the album off, "loss of identity" is a heavy, grandiose trip-hop track the submerges the listener into the cosmic world of Jabbu. Calm ambient moments are sprinkled throughout, like on the delirious cut "Slumped in the rain" or during the second half of "Space Ethos". Chaotic and gritty synths pepper tracks like "bad Time" and "a lifetime of regrets". The ever-so-talented Howiewonder and SamuW both appear on the tracklist, adding their own unique style of instrumental flair into the mix. The line between bright/angelic and dark/cavernous is blurred on the track "decompose". The 10 track experience finishes off with "200 years from now", one last stroll through the graveyard of your life before departure.

Ish's first 45 single features two brilliant and banging tracks by a young producer duo hailing from Zürich: Jazzo & Melodiesinfonie. After releasing a bunch of mesmerizing and unconventionally fresh beats (or songs if you will) on different digital platforms, it was about time for these two inspired beat heads and record enthusiasts to have their music pressed on vinyl. For the beat-ish series they remixed or rather re-did two of their favorite tracks from their impressive back catalog and spiced them up a notch for the proper punch factor. Striking and stuttering-ly thumping drums, delicately crafted synth melodies, a flair for surprising breaks and melodic changes and gently interlaced singing form an invigorating and unique sound they can call their own. They do though seamlessly join the so called 'beat' scene with figureheads like Flying Lotus, Samiyam, Nosaj Thing, Dibiase a.o.
This is stunning work from two young and already hyped producers we will hear more about in the future!

This one has been a long time coming but we are excited to finally bring you the debut album from Joe Cain ‘Biorhythms’ Joe has been making great music for years and is better known as being one of the founding members of the cult North London production team Armed Dukes, so you may already be well aware of his ‘Calibre’ of production. With three Armed Dukes albums under their belt (with Joe contributing a large portion of the material) and a handful of production credits, this is his first full length outing a solo artist and it more than lives up to expectations. Joe’s highly crafted and intricate beats sound effortless to the ear and his unique approach to the traditional ‘boom bap’ sound sets his music apart from the rest. Joe is a purist in his approach to production, shunning many modern techniques and making everything out of the box with hardwear samplers, out board gear, vinyl and instruments. The 20 tracks on the album really showcase Joe’s diverse production styles while at the same time not straying too far off track. A sure fire album for fans of Armed Dukes and the We Stay True imprint as a whole aswell as anyone that likes well crafted instrumental beats. ‘Biorhythms’ is fantastic addition to our growing discography and will be a welcome addition to your record collection.

Split album by Joe Corfield and Slim, two of UKs most promising beatmakers. It's the follow-up to the “KO-OP 1” album by Smoke Trees and Juan Rios on KO-OP, the sub-label and community dedicated to the art of beatmaking founded by reknown hip-hop label Melting Pot Music from Cologne, Germany.

When we started KO-OP in the summer of 2017, little did we knew where this journey would take us to. Ever since we had the pleasure to work with 21 artists from all over the world and have put out almost 80 tracks on lp, tape and digital. Now we are happy to share with you KO-OP 2 - a split album by two of our favourite producers from the UK: Slim and Joe Corfield. Slim is one half of London rap group Summers Sons. The Sons are signed to MPM where they have released two albums (“Undertones” & “Uhuru”). In February 2019 Summers Sons will play their first German tour together with Children of Zeus. Slim has released instrumental cuts on KO-OP, Brownswood and Banoffee Pie, plus a beattape on Yogocop Records. Joe Corfield hails from Birmingham and has released a string of albums via Radio Juicy and Yogocop. He is coming with his very own sound. Futuristic and soulful, with a great ear to detail. It was actually Flofilz' idea to have them both on one record. “KO-OP 2” will be released on one LP with two individual covers by Rahel Süßkind, a Berlin based artist (and part of Money $ex Records) who is responsible for all KO-OP artwork.
