Donuts for the 45 slingers, and donuts for the House DJ’s, EastSide Edits brings a unique twist to the 45’s world by catering to both markets on each release. Carefully selected familiar Edits that work well in both environments is the name of their game! This first release has gained a lot of attention, with the test pressings being championed by some of the top turntable legends in the game. DJ Koco’s recent doubles routine and feature play of the B-side to this record has his massive following asking where to find it.

Side A is brought to you by the young wonder from New York, Pinto NYC. Pinto has been making quite the name for himself, signing music to some stellar House labels across the world, including the legendary Nervous Records, Glasgow Underground, and Simma Black. His upbeat and funky edit of “Rock with you” brings familiarity and energy sure to light the dance floor on fire! Creative sampling and pumping drums are his signature sound. This one hooks the listener early and smashes it home!

Side B is brought to you by the incredibly talented Toronto Disco duo, LeBaron James. LeBaron James are at the top of their game, pumping out high quality Disco Edits to a whole host of successful labels. Home base for them has been the incredibly successful Spacedisco label, run by Juno award winning Toronto artist, Hatiras. Their super catchy Disco edit of “Never gonna give my love again” will have you singing at the top of your lungs, feeling like you’re front and center at Studio 54! The vibe gets pushed even further into overdrive with the onset of a smooth and sexy sax solo that carries through the tail end of the record. This one has already proven to catch the ears of some major players across the globe! Don’t sleep on this white label. Two of the biggest names in the game join forces & the results do not disappoint!Straight out of Le Havre, Djar One's beat-heavy productions have been demanding attention on dancefloors and radio stations worldwide via his Beats House imprint. We couldn't be more delighted to have him on board the good ship Soul Flip for our eleventh 45 release. First up for the Djar One treatment is Mary Wells' Northern-leaning stomper, "Can't You See (You're Losing Me)". Already a dancefloor bomb, Djar One ramps up the energy still further to devastating effect. On the flip, he takes on the seldom-heard original 1965 version of "Uncle Willie Good Time" by The Astors with similarly superb results.

he year is 1999 and The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams & Chad Hugo) are working on a new track for Wu Tang Clan Member, Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s new album. The track in question, “Got Your Money”, was an unexpectedly poppy, upbeat and melodic track that would go on to have global success. Buried within the multi-track recordings of the ODB’s hit track is an acapella by Pharrell, recorded early in the tracks production. Bringing his own laid-back style and flow, but keeping to the narrative of ODB’s track, Pharrell delivers a secret version of the track, few will have heard. Alloy Cuts delivers two versions of Pharrell’s hidden bars, mashing up one side with Montel Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It”, giving the track a more golden era sound and on the flip side the classic ragga riddim, the “Snake Riddim”, is used to great effect!

Double A goes full house mode, with tribal drums, a cheeky soul sample flip, and some big badman vocals. Heavy descending sub puts the icing on this cake. This one’s been killing it on dance floors for a while now, so grab it while you can! Side AA / James Nasty / Fan Dem Off A seasoned Baltimore Club veteran, we’re thrilled to welcome James Nasty to the Mountain 45s family. Although this previously circulated as a digital-only gem, this is a 7” vinyl debut for this banger. You don’t see much (any?) B-More on 7” so it’s also a bit of a unicorn. Big Dancehall vocal flip, absolutely banging uptempo drums, and a killer buildup makes for some sure shot dance floor ammo. Don’t snooze

As the vinyl revival continues to sweep the globe, Copenhagen finally wakes up and launches this new white label edition, which showcase some of the hidden jewels that has stirred the floors of the Danish capital. Supplies are super limited, and demand is expected to be high because these stands out – and too hot to mention, but the focus remains squarely on the music itself…Copenhagen floor fillers…!!

It's been a while, but after some significant restructuring behind the scenes, Soul Flip is back in the groove, with a fresh new look, and more sweet, soulful sounds.



Chapter 16 of the Soul Flip story sees Del Gazeebo breathe fresh life into a couple of absolute classics, steering them directly at the dancefloor.



First up for the Soul Flip treatment is Sam & Dave's "Soul Man", Del somehow making an already big tune even bigger, and very much more DJ-friendly.



On the flip, Del takes the O'Jays original version of "Now That We Found Love" & injects it with fresh energy. It also retains the glorious strings from the album version that was edited out from the original 7" (UK only) release.

Next up in the Heat Rock catalog! For HR-020, Altered Tapes (Chicago) and Platurn (Bay Area) offer a double dose of Marvin from his classic blaxploitation soundtrack. Already a b-boy classic in its original form, Altered Tapes decided to turn up the b-boy dial even more with a flip centered around a heavy drum break for Side A. While over on Side B, Platurn offers us an extended, DJ-friendly, stemmed-out version that holds more true to Marvin's take while also adding all the flavor we wish the OG had! Both are guaranteed to make you bounce.
