The Boy With The X-Ray Eyes is the debut album by British rock band Babylon Zoo, released in February 1996. It features the single
“Spaceman”, which charted at number one on the UK Singles Chart after being featured in a popular Levi’s jeans
TV advertisement in late 1995. The album peaked at number 6 on the UK Albums Chart and met with generally favorable reviews.

Heaven or Las Vegas followed in 1990 and is recognised as their most commercially successful release, reaching number seven in the UK album charts. Numerous publications have since declared it one of the best albums of the 90s, Pitchfork calling it “a core of ungodly gorgeous songs that is every bit as moving and relevant today as it ever was.” Label founder Ivo Watts-Russell goes further, candidly revealing in the recent 4AD biography, Facing The Other Way, that this album wasn’t just his favourite Cocteaus album but also his favourite all-time 4AD album, and “by a long shot”, calling it “the perfect record.”

These original recordings capture that round robin sound in all it's chart-topping, MTV-ruling glory. Soulful, sexy, with attitude to burn, they ruled the '90s as the funkiest divas of all.

This release celebrates the 20th anniversary of a pivotal performance and career-defining year for Travis. In June of 1999, with Travis’ sophomore album The Man Who having only been in the record shops for a month, Travis played the Other Stage at the Glastonbury Festival.

It had been glorious weather, but, as they played their soon-to-be-released single “Why Does It Always Rain on Me?,” the heavens opened. The soggy crowd went wild, and the performance went down as one of the all-time great shows in the festival’s 50-year history. By the time “Why Does It Always Rain on Me?” was released as a single five weeks later, Travis and The Man Who were on the precipice of international stardom, and would go on to headline Glastonbury a year later.

“Refugees of the Heart” is the sixth solo studio album by Steve Winwood, released in 1990. The album contained the hit single, "One and Only Man", which topped the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and saw the return of former Traffic bandmate Jim Capaldi to Winwood's songwriting team. By coincidence, a Traffic reunion followed in 1994. Because of that collaboration, Winwood would not record another solo album until late 1997. Also "I Will Be Here" and "Another Deal Goes Down" were released as singles. Winwood stated about the closing track, “In The Light Of Day”: 'When Will and I wrote the song (..) it was our idea of what Nelson Mandela's dream was, while he was in prison. It was really just a fantasy of ours, but that’s what we based the song on.'

Alexia (real name Alessia Aquilani) was born in La Spezia (Italy). In 1990 she joined the DWA Team, first as a studio vocalist, singing on the hit song "Please don't go" by Double You, then she took part in the "ice MC" project, a musical project with a rapper and Alexia as singer. All of Europe was dancing and singing to the songs "Take away the colour", "Think about the way" and "It's a rainy day" and everybody became familiar with Alexia's beautiful clear voice. In 1995 Robyx decided to compose a song especially for her. "Me and you" was her first single and within just days of its release, its presence was felt across Europe, reaching no.1 in Italy and in Spain. As a follow-up to "Me and you", the new single, "Summer is crazy", came out in 1996. The song reached the top of the charts and became the signature tune for "Festivalbar", the most popular Italian summer music festival. It was no.1 in Italy, Spain and Finland, top 20 in France, top 40 in the rest of Europe and was one of the biggest summer successes of 1996. As summer drew to a close it was time to create a new song fit for Alexia's incredible voice. In November 1996 Alexia released her third single, “Number One”. It proved to be a smash hit, going to no.1 in Italy and many other countries. In January 1997 recording of her first album “Fan Club” began. It was released in May 1997 together with a new single, "Uh la la la", for the imminent summer season. "Uh la la la" was the most played and danced song of that summer! It reached no.1 in Italy, Spain and Finland and made top ten throughout the rest of Europe. The album sold more than six hundred thousand copies and was awarded many gold and platinum discs.

Inspired by Front 242, Skinny Puppy and Clock DVA, Arno and Tibor were fellow students at the Center of Electronic Music (CEM) in Arnhem, Netherlands during the mid 80's.After getting a record deal with the Belgian Antler Subway, and started producing their first EP, originally meant as EBM. But since they were in the middle of proceeding, they took the chance to incorporate some of those influences in their first record, 'Force D'Inquisition', in 1990, which became one of the earliest Dutch house records.Track A2 is the legendary 'Apocalypse', which was quite a hit at the time both in the EBM and acid scene, with gentlemen like Frankie Knuckles playing it in his sets.Arno Peeters was later part of Random XS and Urban Electro and worked solo as Spasms on Djax-Up-Beats. Alan Parsons Project is well known for building their albums around certain socio-demographic themes. 'Stereotomy' (1985) deals with the way in which modern society molds the personality. At the time, 'Stereotomy' was one of the first completely digitally recorded pieces of music, sporting a rare 'DDD' code on its first release. The album is coherently balanced, its synthesized and orchestrated songs completing each another. The high octane 'Where s The Walrus?' is a response to 'Mr. Laser Beam', analogy of Mr. Lee Abrams, an American radio personality. He accused the band having gone 'flat' in their last albums: he asked them 'Where's The Walrus?', meaning 'Where are the classic songs like The Beatles'. 'I Am The Walrus'?. The Music On Vinyl reissue of 'Stereotomy' features the original dual coloured sleeve (except for the translucent coloured plastic outer sleeve).

“Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too” is the debut studio album by American alternative rock band the New Radicals. Released October 1998, it is their only album release before disbanding in 1999.

The album charted in the North America and several European countries, and was frontman Gregg Alexander's third album, following two unsuccessful albums released in 1989 and 1992, respectively. For the album's recording, Alexander enlisted numerous session musicians and is the only band member to perform on every song. The album's musical style was compared to numerous rock artists, including Billy Corgan, Chumbawamba, and the Rolling Stones.

The album spawned two singles. "You Get What You Give" was released as the first single off the album, and was commercially successful worldwide, reaching number one in Canada and New Zealand and peaking in the top 40 in the US and the UK, among other countries.

James Brown had the Apollo. Jimi Hendrix had Monterey Pop. And Prince had Syracuse, New York’s Carrier Dome—the Purple Rain Tour performance that was beamed to millions live via satellite and captured for posterity in the Grammy Award-nominated concert film Prince and The Revolution: Live, and has since gone down in history as one of the most iconic live recordings in pop and rock history. For the first time, this powerful performance by Prince and The Revolution has been entirely remixed from the original 2” multitrack master reels, the picture has been newly restored onto Blu-ray video with selectable stereo, 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos sound and the audio will be made available for the first time physically. The new version of Prince and The Revolution: Live will be available on 2CDs plus the Blu-ray with a 24-page book with never-before-seen photos of the Purple Rain Tour and new liner notes.

For a time, Prince seemed to find the commercial freedom he was looking for on the Internet. Almost a year before the release of The Rainbow Children, he founded the NPG Music Club, a website where subscribers could access new music (and occasionally things from his storied vault) for a nominal subscription fee. One of the first full releases for club members was this remixed version of Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic; highlights include a remix of Hot Wit U that incorporates elements of the Prince-penned Vanity 6 hit Nasty Girl and the previously unreleased “Beautiful Strange.” In addition five of the tracks are remixes with new musical elements (Rave In2 The Joy Fantastic, Undisputed (The Moneyapolis Mix), The Greatest Romance Ever Sold, Hot Wit U (Nasty Girl Remix), and Man'O'War (Remix). Four songs are the same recording as the originals, with an extended portion at the end of the song (Tangerine, The Sun, The Moon And Stars, Baby Knows and Prettyman). The remaining tracks are identical to the original release.

Was released on vinyl in limited commercial release in 1999 but our version includes the last 2 tracks that were left off the original pressing RAVE UN2 THE JOY FANTASTIC (1999) Prince had taken quite the ownership of the year 1999, so it was no surprise that the last year of the millennium was one of The Artist’s biggest. Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic (another name from the past, a 1988 project that was aborted in favor of the soundtrack to Batman) is a pop-leaning, major-label album, featuring a surprising amount of guest artists (Chuck D of Public Enemy, Eve, No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani, Sheryl Crow) and a clutch of radio-friendly tracks (“The Greatest Romance Ever Sold,” “So Far,” “So Pleased,” “Hot Wit U,” a cover of Crow’s “Everyday Is a Winding Road”). The star-studded Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic was the first and only album that Prince would release with the major label Arista Records, and the final album of previously unreleased material that he credited to his unpronounceable symbol.

After the near-tragic accident for Gloria Estefan during the 'Get on Your Feet Tour' (Gloria suffered a broken vertebrae) she portrayed her emotion on 'Into the Light', hence the album's title. This shift affected not only her image but also her audience as a result, and that shift is even more apparent on Into the Light. The album sold over 10 million copies worldwide. It peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 chart, driven largely by its chart-topping lead single, 'Coming Out of the Dark'.
