Well here is it... Finally after 20 years Kwote and Grim Reaperz presents to you "Mindz Of Musik". Kwote met Crown (of Grim Reaperz) in the late years of Napster (2001). Working together on a lot of music but never a full projects. These songs are from anywhere from 2004 to 2020, 16 years of music combined to give you everything you are about to hear. Including features from MC Juice, Kool Sphere (Verbal Threat) , Reef The Lost Cauze (aotp), Ang13, Halfabrick, GQ Nothin Pretty and Noah (Tunnel Movement). Just a big list of people that make really amazing music coming together with Kwote to help him to create his first solo vinyl record.. There ins't really one direction, it's all over the place with a method to its madness it takes you on ride, from battle songs to uplifted bars. It represents him and his mind of music, enjoy !

Dumi Right and the late Cadence of Raw Produce were frequent collaborators who connected after becoming label mates on the fledgling Domination Records. This led to a number of incredible creative works including a project called Alternate Reality. While much of their work has since seen the light of day, this song remained, unheard and locked in the vault until now. Produced by Cadence, “Opposite Day” features each MC hilariously playing the role of a rapper rhyming about things totally contrary to what they would do in reality. The song highlights all too common contradictions inherent in much of the commercial rap that is popular today.
The “Nightfall” is another dope track by Dumi Right that features Mr. Lif in a cautionary tale about working to not get caught up in negative cycles. Nightfall serves as a metaphor for falling victim to the darkness and self destructive activities that would lead one down a dead end path.

La Fam Ill is a multi genre, alt Hip Hop album, featuring a heavy dose of classic old school beats that weave their way from bouncy dub & upbeat guitar led funk beats, to modern electro infused hip hop underpinned with dirty synth lines. With a different producer on every track there is a plethora of musical styles all tied together with the T’s. Too Many T’s showcase buoyant playful tongue in cheek lyrics teaching us not to take life too seriously with their notorious back-to-back double-time raps, whilst sitting comfortably alongside much deeper and more reflective song writing. This is an album that travels the world both figuratively, and literally. La Fam Ill’s journeys reflect those of the band’s protagonists, Leon and Ross, floating effortlessly through a forest of stories both lived and witnessed – the effects of climate change, class warfare, and the difficulties of maintaining friendships as we grow up. Each track has its own special twist created by the colossal lineup of French Hiphop artists including: Atili, ASM, Chill Bump, Chinese Man, Djar One, Form, Hippocampe Fou, La Fine Equipe, MB14, Proleter, Pumpkin & VinS Da Cuero, Smokey Joe & The Kid and Yoshi Di Original.

Bold is the new collaboration between High Ku (Chinese Man) and Supa-Jay (Scratch Bandits Crew). Released only on CD in 1996, this cult album from the gogo-acid jazzfunk-hip hop scene, which left its mark on an entire generation, is finally available on vinyl, with the added bonus of vintage remixes of DJ Dee Nasty's “Paris A Le Blues”. The album was also a huge success in Japan. With Lionel D., Dee Nasty, Omar D., D. Abuz System, Big Brother Hakim, La Malka Family... Mad In Paris was formed by the merger of two groups from the Paris suburbs, Créteil and Girgny, and took over the radio airwaves in 1996. A short-lived phenomenon, with just one album to their credit, they formed an ensemble of nine musicians and singers. The group scored a hit with “Paris a le Blues” on the eponymous album, which went beyond the hip-hop microcosm, as more mainstream radio stations, at a time when rap was on the rise, picked up on the Mad In Paris craze. They spent fifteen weeks in the top 50 at the time. It describes the malaise, the blues that stick to the City of Light, “from Barbès to Abbesses, from the Champs-Elysées to Les Halles”, pouring out its spleen. Thirty years on, it remains one of French music's most famous jaunts through Paname. A number of us in the editorial team have confessed that we bled this track back then, and while today the sound has certainly aged a little, because this rap no longer corresponds to our current standards or we certainly wouldn't listen to “Paris A le Blues” any more, Mad In Paris has shaped us all a little. In a more stealthy way, but in the same way as with Alliance Ethnik, we moved to these sounds that many called “groove” rather than hip-hop, a mix of urban music often blended from rap to funk. If “groove” is a catch-all term used by the media to cover all these influences, Mad In Paris belongs in the “rap” category. Because it was 1996 and we loved it.
