Based near Nantes & just 30 years old, Dj King Flow has almost 20 years of beatmaking under his belt, with numerous trips back and forth between France and the USA. His many travels have enabled him to network with a large number of independent MCs.
Today he presents Halftime, his first project on vinyl, which speaks volumes when you see the many names of hip-hop legends such as Rase Kass, O.C., Tragedy Khadafi, Goodie Mob, Shabaam Sahdeeq and other lesser-known but equally talented names!

Les yeux grands fermés is a spontaneous new EP that is an ode to freedom, both in the creative process and in everyday life. In terms of songwriting and production, Les yeux grands fermés is an improved blend of Absolem's last two projects, Leur dire and Balle d'Argent, featuring both their introspective songwriting, here even more touching, and their arrogant, second-rate side. Working together on a lot of music but never a full projects. These songs are from anywhere from 2004 to 2020, 16 years of music combined to give you everything you are about to hear. Including features from MC Juice, Kool Sphere (Verbal Threat) , Reef The Lost Cauze (aotp), Ang13, Halfabrick, GQ Nothin Pretty and Noah (Tunnel Movement). Just a big list of people that make really amazing music coming together with Kwote to help him to create his first solo vinyl record.. There ins't really one direction, it's all over the place with a method to its madness it takes you on ride, from battle songs to uplifted bars. It represents him and his mind of music, enjoy !

Trad Vibe records is happy and proud to present you this project as well execptional as unpublished! We are in 1994, DJ Clyde left the group Assassin and launched the 1st French Mixtapes but he sees even further and launches into the production for the 1st time since he became a hip-hop activist. His set up seems very simple but unusual and innovative for the time especially in France with a Sp1200 and two S950 and a maximum of Soul, Funk, Jazz vinyls that he digs with his crew Hypnotyc Djs (Dj Clyde, Dj Max, Dj Asko). The project is also exceptional because it comes from a cassette archived by Clyde of beats sent for the album Paris Sous Les Bombes of the famous group Suprême NTM (3rd album of the group). Of course you will not find the beats released with his last but all the unselected gems that reveals the talent and the advance that Dj Clyde had taken in the production at that time! More than an instrumental album or beat tape, this project is a testimony of the history of Hip-Hop and moreover of Beatmaking in France in the 90s which was not supposed to see the day. The cover is made by the talented grafiti artist Cyril "Kongo" of the famous and historical crew of graffiti artists MAC (founded in 1986 in Montreuil).

This album is a return to the collaborations of Moar with unreleased versions on vinyl and also rare tracks. Like an ode to your Walkman and to those 90-minute tapes that you used to rewind with your pen, DA BREAK's first LP was all about Funk & Hip Hop 90's flavors.
That album immediately found itself on playlists on all your favorite radios (Radio Nova, FIP, Couleur 3, France Inter, RFI, BBC 6…), and enabled Da Break to play live in major festivals and venues (Nuits Sonores, Nuits Zebrées Nova, Radiomeuh Festival, Woodstower, Festival de Marne, Hortus Live…).
This was completely unexpected, a major learning experience, and above all a lot of fun and gave the Lyon-based gang a whole lot of ideas for the next stage in their musical journey, propelling them towards new musical horizons: infectious riddims with grooving keyboard & guitar licks as their bedrock and free association leading them into jazz, broken beat, soul or disco vibes … During the creation of Let It Shine, all doors were wide open and all musical genres potentially welcome.
The production still has a « home made » feel to it, like the previous album, but with a modern, sonic twist when needed- a result of three years on the road together and new creative input from group members. Whether it be on a New York summertime roof-top, or settled in a Low-Rider with some G-Funk, or moving to some phat Jamaican style bass-lines or getting sensual on a tight breakbeat, lead singer Hawa knows how to shine her feminine and versatile brilliance on the project. She gives to the songs the final touch and the emotion needed to share with us her stories about human relationships - everyday tales sharing her real life-experience. This ever-expanding musical spectrum, Da Break play with it, explore it and also let it kick completely free at times ! Song after song, they bring a magic glow to LET IT SHINE.

Dumi Right and the late Cadence of Raw Produce were frequent collaborators who connected after becoming label mates on the fledgling Domination Records. This led to a number of incredible creative works including a project called Alternate Reality. While much of their work has since seen the light of day, this song remained, unheard and locked in the vault until now. Produced by Cadence, “Opposite Day” features each MC hilariously playing the role of a rapper rhyming about things totally contrary to what they would do in reality. The song highlights all too common contradictions inherent in much of the commercial rap that is popular today.
The “Nightfall” is another dope track by Dumi Right that features Mr. Lif in a cautionary tale about working to not get caught up in negative cycles. Nightfall serves as a metaphor for falling victim to the darkness and self destructive activities that would lead one down a dead end path.

She writes her own lyrics, no ghostwriter here. Her style sways between straightforward speech and insightful poetry in French, English and Spanish. The rapper absorbs everyday life and turns thoughts into rhymes that she spits with precision, dealing with all kinds of subjects.



He composes timeless instrumentals, full of organic sounds reminiscent of the nineties, with heavy breakbeats and catchy samples featuring their musician friends.



On this undeniably Hip Hop 12-track album, the artistic symbiosis of the French duo from Nantes is striking. The album features great collaborations with artists such as Jazz singer China Moses, rappers Miscellaneous [Chill Bump] and JP Manova, beatboxer Sly The Mic Buddah, musicians Bastien Burger, Matthieu Detton, Oï Tomkin, Le Chat and on the cuts, DJ Odilon and DJ Lyrik.
