For its Fall/Winter '24 collection, adidas has teamed up with Wales Bonner, a real heavyweight in the world of fashion. Wales Bonner is a London-based menswear label that has been pursuing a unique concept since 2014, combining European heritage with an Afro-Atlantic spirit.

When first introduced in 1962, the adidas Samba was the first football training shoe developed for frozen pitches. Eventually the Samba developed and established itself a the premier indoor football shoe. Since then this shoe has evolved to a terrace staple and has now gone on to become a modern day street classic in its own right.

The version remixed for the adidas x Wales Bonner collab only resembles the original Samba in terms of shape and a few basics – the most striking innovations are the use of silver metallic leather split with brown croc-embossed leather as the upper material, satin-finished textile lining as well as deco stitching at heel.

To celebrate the brand's 90th anniversary, Danner updated the iconic Mountain Trail design with premium materials, and the brand also added two keyrings with leather pendants as well as a leather wallet to this item - these bonus items come in different hues from black to various shades of brown to green, but we have no control over them.
