One more year, we are now working tirelessly on our beloved label. Just as we did last year, this 2023, we are back with our 'anaøh Invites' series.

Last year we had the wonderful presence of James Ruskin and Ben Sims as guests of honor, that wonderful 12' vinyl sold out in a few weeks, however it is time to present our second volume, where again Dig-It and Fixon as hosts of the label invite 2 artists to join them and release original 4 tracks on a special edition 12' vinyl. In this second chapter we have the presence of a veteran whom we respect and love deeply, one of the main people responsible for the classic hardgroove sound , Mark Williams. As well as one of our wonder boys, the virtuous Cravo.

We feel honored and moved to have this second collaboration, which we hope will please everyone! Thank you for all the love and support during these first 7 years of adventure.

Established Berlin based events organizer UPPERBERRY stepping up w/ their brand-new label. For the first EP, Lag has the honor to kick off their game. 4 mind-boggling tracks including 2 remixes by UK’s JoeFarr and Happa.

Boran Ece - Relance [sde001] Homemade sound waves: this is what the first release of the new label Son d’Étroit sounds like. The label founder, Boran Ece made the premiere a matter close to his heart and shows his performance side with this track. A skillfully created chaos has arisen that presents and unites precisely chosen elements. It’s food for the dancers in the underground. Rough, pure, minimal with an organic touch but still harmonious. This is neverending house music in its own way. Hannes Bieger, berlin-based engineer of deep melodic notes honors the first release Sde001 with an “analogue origin” remix.

You cannot say Nu Groove without saying Burrell. The seminal New York House label that existed from 1988 until 1992 was at the helm of a sound that was as much traditional as it was transitional. Since the closure of the Paradise Garage in 1987 and before the „NYC House sound“ was well-defined and fenced, Nu Groove was a kaleidoscope and an amalgamation of everything that informed it until then: uptempo r&b, reggae, dub, disco, freestyle, techno, jazz, and the sound that was embossed by Larry Heard in Chicago that was so well picked up in the Big Apple, you name it. Ronald and Rheji Burrell provided its basis, first floor and roof. But that story has already been told by our dear friends from Rush Hour, including its most important chapters. But we are going to tell a new one. Rheji Burrell presents N.Y. House’N Authority & The Utopia Project. Twelve tracks split over two EPs on Running Back. Named „Out of Body Experience“ and „The ’V’EP“, it features all new music that feels like modern garments cut out of a classic cloth. Almost as if the Nu Groove would have never stopped. And that it is - at the risk of self-praise - all that old or new fans and also we could hope for. Two EPs full of deep-that-doesn’t rhyme-with-sleep house music, has simple, yet clever arrangements, features jazzy sounds, but snappy drums, merry melodies and glossy grooves. An overall joy to listen or dance to. The difference in both EPs is for the Burrell-die-hards and Nu-Groove-scientists to decide.

Following on from the release of a spilt EP from rising stars Gramrcy and Gaunt late last year, GlassTalk Records returns in 2019 with the sophomore EP from Bristol's Henry Greenleaf, "Patent".
The unassuming producer has been making waves with his bassy 130bpm productions which seem almost custom-made for the later hours of dark club settings.
Since his debut release on Par Avion last November, Greenleaf has been focused on increasing the sonic scale and clarity of his work; something that's apparent on the whole of "Patent" but especially on the opener, "Inch". A true 'creeper' of a track, the groove and harmonic arrangement of the 3-minute build-up is somewhat entrancing but then gives way to a head-wringing breakdown.
True to his previous output, Henry doesn't sit still stylistically on "Patent". The EP's second track, "Tare", moves away from the 4x4 structures of "Inch" and into more syncopated territory previously occupied by producers like Mickey Peace or Paleman. "Tare" is a masterclass in polyrhythms with all manner of kicks, claps and vox samples skittering over each other. This deft use of drum programming is complemented by serene and uplifting synth sections, cleansing the tonal pallet before the beat forcefully drops back in.
On the B-Side, "Caved" keeps the energy and the tempos high with supremely processed high hats and a rumbling low-end landscape. Here Henry Greenleaf's adoration of Paula Temple's music shines through more than ever. Much like her output, it's kind of hard to know which way is up in "Caved" with its ever-shifting palette of sounds and grooves.
Closer and EP title track "Patent" is probably the vastest song Greenleaf has created during his recent mission to grow his productions in scale. It's a mammoth techno track with a pulsing low-end juxtaposed against some sporadic & icey synth pads.
This release solidifies Henry Greenleaf's already hard-to-dispute status as one of the leading lights of the 'Bristol sound'. Almost impossible to define; his work sits in that amorphous sweet spot where techno, dubstep, garage and a load of other UK influences bleed into each other to form something unique. Put your headphones on and let the grooves swallow you up.

For this lovely piece of black gold we’d like you to meet Moony Me! The man probably doesn’t need much of an introduction, but he took some time off the game so we’re even happier he’s honoring us with his comeback EP. And what a glorious one it is! When we first heard the title we immediately thought about all the beauty and honesty of the electronic music world…Fancy promo texts, fake third person bios, deep’n’dark artist pics and kids standing in the front at boiler room. In a healthy way, “Pretentiously Unpretentious” leaves a lot of that stuff behind (fancy promo text LOL) and instead offers a package that has MUSIC written all over it. There’s not a single track on this record that takes itself too seriously, you’ll always find quirky percussions and weird synth blobs somewhere. For us here at the rtct.records headquarters it’s all about the attitude someone makes music with. And, I mean, would you look at that picture on the record? It’s friggin’ adorable! It’s all in there: family values, humor, his niece and a blue tongue. He’s got it all! Check this record out, there are tunes on there for every age and bpm while still staying true to the classic Moony Me danceability. Is that even a word? We don’t care. We love it!

Moving on to the 11th release on NorthSouth Records and it’s a return with another 4 tracker from label co-founder Harry McCanna who once again dons his Henry Hyde alias. Leading the way on the record is Melting, a tried and tested dance floor killer, with it’s deftly programmed drums and bulbous baseline, it’s destined to twist a few melons on the dancefloor. Up next is Shaking Off, moving things in to slightly lighter, bouncier territory, playful vocal snippets interspersed with zapping synth stabs, a certified wiggler! On the flip, things get under way with Mire as the EP moves into a sludgier direction on the South side, heads down groove-a-plenty this ones an ear worm destined to get you shaking. Rounding out the EP is Sunrise at the Pavilion. The clue is in the title, but just imagine this one and those gated synths, sun coming up through the trees, many special moments to be had for sure!

Even if Ancient Greek isn’t part of general knowledge anymore, the word mega is. Hence, you might admire our modesty to say that Roman Flügel’s first outing on Running Back in 2022 is perfectly headed. Greta, large, mighty and somewhat the love- or brainchild of his earlier Garden Party and the previous D.I.S.C.O., Mega pulls out all the stops: hi-nrg melodies, circus bells, cowboy funk and honey hooks at 140 beats per minute. While it is nearly impossible not to take this bait or decorate it with the Bobby-O medal of honor, Roman proves one more that you can be catchy and classy at the same time. Rules on the other hand, puts some of these stylistic devices in reverse or down-tempo mode and feels like brushing your teeth after an extended feast or the perfect hors d’oeuvre. Completing the picture with Film 1, Film 2 and Film 3, Flügel flexes his freethinking muscles and lands in-between art school new wave bands and soundscape science. Music that is masterly made, magical in its impact and perfectly described with a misquoted line from Get The Balance Right: it’s never predictable.

In the post-apocalyptic world of Jtekken 3, life as we know it has almost disappeared. Jorge Caiado and Paul Cut return for another round after their 2020 collaboration on Caiado’s. Time & Space LP. Those familiar with the two will know the order of the day: immaculately produced and deeply-felt house music that marries a studio master’s subtlety with a live musician’s flair. Each of these tracks bursts with the essence of soulful house and its jazz forebears, traversing moods that are by turns wistful, playful and go-getting. Cut’s solos on the keys — which recently graced Larry Heard’s latest LP — provide the loose counterpoint to Caiado’s tight production. Inner Balance softly strikes again.

DJ ARG is back on Dream Ticket and once again he is Not. Fucking. Around. Four headmelters from the master himself that traverse breaks, house, techno and booty. Hardware was indeed harmed in the making of this record. Live with it!

Losoul is without a doubt one of the more elusive legends of house music. Over the last 25 years he has been forging ahead expressing his own ideas of outstanding club music that not only satisfies the vibe of the dance floor but also takes risks, asks for interaction and demands personal exposure: energetic and ambivalent at the same time.

Since the mid nineties, when Losoul teamed up with the legendary Playhouse label crew, he has continuously developed and refined his characteristic style of house music that captures the essence of the groove while honoring the open spaces between. With this style he is still building bridges between the founders and the following generations of electronic music lovers. The extent of his mastery is evidenced through his comprehensive catalogue of releases on various imprints such as Logistic Rec., Hartchef, Hypercolour, Karat, Tardis and of course his own label Another Picture (founded in 2014).

The two distinctive tracks featured on this Slices Of Life release perfectly represent Losoul’s years of experiences in producing, technical developments and worldwide touring as DJ. Proving once again his particular skills and laid-back attitude yet sounding fresh and thrilling at the same time.

“Ghost Talk” is reminiscent of Losoul’s driving minimal productions of the ‘90s with its trippy atmosphere and spooky morphing voices. “Idealist Jungle” on the B-side leads us into a green, sweaty twilight zone, accompanied by continuously rolling beats and warm basslines.

Like most of Losoul’s productions “Ghost Talk” and “Idealist Jungle” evolve slowly and steadily build their energy over the long distance. Once started you are all at once captivated by the pulsing deep grooves and psychedelic atmospheres and locked into the seductive journey.

Melbourne based record label Tanny Records is dropping its debut release in style showcasing a whopping lineup featuring Perlon's Wareika, Fuse label boss Archie Hamilton, vinyl don Charles Eddy and renowned Australian selector Lucca Tan. The A-side showcases Wareika's tough but melodic minimal dance floor churner "Grapefruit all over me" (Original Mix) as well as his tripped-out experimental minimal groover "Jaguar" (Original Remix). On the flip side Archie Hamilton delivers his take on "Jaguar" featuring his signature sound, and Label owner Lucca Tan and collaborator Charles Eddy give their twist on the already summer classic "Grapefruit All Over Me".

The Drehbar crew has the honor to welcome the rising talent Wave Particle Singularity for their first edition, offering a smooth EP, blending house cuts and science under a peace of wax, opening with the elegant Amygdala on the A-side, following with a chemical oriented deep track on the B-side and closing the EP with a massive breaky interpretation from the label owner Jeann.

Peggy Gou returns with 'Nabi' - her first single in over two years and the follow up to 2019's global crossover, 'Starry Night'.

'Nabi' is an incredible piece of slow-burning, 98bpm electronic pop, inspired by 80s synth classics, the piano pieces of renowned composer Erik Satie and the 80s and 90s Korean songs Gou’s mother used to play at home during her childhood. Showcasing a less familiar side of Gou’s diverse sound and influences, it retains the hallmarks of her unique take on electronic music; at once both nostalgic and totally modern.

‘Nabi’ - which translates as ‘Butterfly’ - is also Gou’s first ever vocal collaboration, as she teams up with fellow Korean sensation Ohhyuk, the lead singer and guitarist in Hyukoh. It’s set to build on the widespread acclaim for her 2020 production collaboration with Baltimore techno legend Maurice Fulton (on his ‘Jigoo’ release for Gudu), ‘Nabi’ is the first of two songs Peggy Gou will release over the coming months.

While the forthcoming follow up is set to dial up the tempo, kicks, 808’s and 909s to soundtrack a summer where we can all (hopefully) dance together in our thousands again, ‘Nabi’ is very much the sound of now – a lowkey anthem fuelled by feelings of hope, freedom and positivity for what’s to come.

We are very happy and honored to welcome the Electronic Music Legends, Roman Flügel & Jörn Elling Wuttke aka Acid Jesus to the Rawax Family! Our first collaboration will be the re-issue of Radium, Uranium Smuggle & Hibernation Drive! All these tracks have been produced at Klangfabrik between 1995 - 1997 For the first time those three tracks will be available in this constellation on one record! Highly recommended!

DJ Hasse is the alter ego of Erik Danielson—co-founder of Västkransen Records and one half of the duo Bike Thieves. Written and produced in the spring of 2023, his solo debut ”Hasse’s Fabrication EP” is now ready for the shelves. With two original tracks and a remix by Stockholm’s up-and-comer DJ Beverage, the record delves through styles and genres that Erik loves and always includes in his DJ sets. On the record’s title track, DJ Hasse gives us a glimpse of the 1980s with a bass-driven italo piece ornamented by arpeggios and synthesized strings. On the B-side, ”For My Friends” increases the energy with a euro house inspired tune built on a steady breakbeat groove. The record then closes with DJ Beverage’s own take on ”For My Friends”, which strips it down to its essentials and turns it into a bouncy UKG belter.

Jan Kincl, a Croatian artist with music released on BBE, Far Out, and Sonar Kollektiv, is launching his own label Cycle Records with an EP titled "For A Minute". Written and produced at Jan's Cycle Studio in Zagreb, the EP features two original tracks riding a thin line between techno and house, and a remix from Gene Hunt, one of the pioneering artists responsible for shaping the early sound of Chicago - "I loved the way the original had such an old school feel to it, jazzy vibes with a 70's touch. When I was asked to do a remix I was like yesssir! It reminds me of something that Moodymann would make. It contained a '94 vibe, Detroit and Chicago combo. Not to mention it was a totally different vibe for me, and I'm honored to be a part of something new and different." - said Gene about this collaboration.
