We are very very pleased to come up with the exclusive vinyl pressing of "Escape Music", a heavy 19 track album from Manchester's The Mouse Outfit with such vocal guests like Dr. Syntax, Sparkz, Dubbul O, Fox and Black Josh.

Magnetic is the 10th studio album by rock band Goo Goo Dolls, released on June 11, 2013, through Warner Bros. Records. The recording process took place during the latter half of 2012 and into early 2013. Rzeznik thought of the album title during a phone conversation with his manager, who told Rzeznik to "think of a title for the record. Try to use one word." Magnetic was the first word that came to Rzeznik's mind. This is the last album to feature drummer Mike Malinin who left the band in December 2013.

High Focus Records stalwart, Dirty Dike, not usually one to hold his tongue, is making a return to the airwaves this April without even saying a word. This time letting the beats do the talking for him, as he continues to gain as much respect for his production as he does on the microphone. After having produced Rag N Bone Man's critically acclaimed 'Put That Soul On Me' 12'' as well as one of the biggest breakthrough tunes of 2014, 'Walking', for phenomenal newcomer Ocean Wisdom, the second official installment of the 'A Dirty Dike Production...' series is upon us! This time around the outspoken rapper turned instrumentalist has enlisted none other than incomparable Northern lyricist supreme Lee Scott for a full length LP of that straight up unadulterated buttery Jazz Funk aptly titled 'Butter Fly'.

In his last musical offering, Ramson Badbonez took us through the conceptual ‘Year In The Life Of Oscar The Slouch’, a gritty seasonal account of the harsh realities of London inner city street life. This June, the illusive skull clad lyricist makes his grand return to the airwaves with his brand new collaborative effort alongside producer DJ Fingerfood entitled ‘Hypnodic’. As the title suggests, this is a much more cerebral journey onto the astral plains of the mind of Ramson Badbonez. However, do not be mistaken, Badbonez’ signature gritty rapping style is still as prevalent and as sharp as ever and is a perfect match for Fingerfood’s ‘Hypnodic’ production style. The album is tied together with a string of esoteric vocal samples and interludes as well as razor sharp cuts provided by the dexterous hands of DJ Fingerfood.

this more refined body of work, allowing the project to stand alone sonically as a more evolved sequel

Home Cooking' is the new, mature sound of DJ Yoda. Maximising the experience and enjoyment gained from recording live instruments and prioritising songs over beats for his previous two albums 'Breakfast of Champions' and 'Chop Suey', this is a big step for the cut-and-paster as a producer, having wowed the world over for over two decades with his celebrated turntable tomfoolery. "I titled this one 'Home Cooking' because the music is so close to my heart, in terms of what I grew up on, and what really speaks to me on a personal level". Following the release of Truck’s ‘3,665’ single featuring Phill Most Chill back in 2018 we are pleased to announce the release of the ‘Food For Thought’ album. It includes the aforementioned single although the 7” has the radio version backed with a special skeleton version of ‘Right Or Wrong?’ with the album containing the main versions of each.
Truck has supplied his unique vocal abilities (often about food – hence the title) on a host of releases by Beat Route 38, S.O.E, The Journeymen and a large portion of the vocals on Mr Fantastic’s ‘Harvey’s Bristol Cream’ album but has rarely featured as a solo artist, until now his only solo vinyl releases are his ‘Able To Stable’ and ‘3,665’ singles - both also released by AE Productions of which he is co-founder.
The album features guest verses from Rola, Phill Most Chill, Gee Swift, Paten Locke, Coherent, Whirlwind D, Tha Cheese and Taka Highsnow who all bring additional flavours from the USA to Japan to the (dinner) table. The beats have been cooked up by Truck, Mr Fantastic, Sir Beans OBE with a few courses each plus one dish supplied by the legendary Kutmasta Kurt, who appears courtesy of Threshold Recordings – the first time he’s worked with a British MC!
The incredible artwork concept by one of AE’s favourite designers Mr Krum is a stroke of genius! Taking the album title ‘Food For Thought’ quite literally the sleeve is made up from alphabet spaghetti which is actually a word search including Artist, Title and Label on the front and then guest features on the reverse panel. At 14 years old, Funky DL and his older brother permanently moved from living with their Mother in Hackney to living with their Father in London’s Borough of Newham. It was this significant change that would begin to shape the most formative years of his transition from childhood into adulthood and his relentless pursuit into the world of music.

In the heart of Stratford, East London, a two bedroom apartment in a towering 22 story building was to permanently become DL’s new home. Lyrically encapsulating DL’s experiences between 1992 and 2005, from the first track, “Moving In” to the final song, “Moving Out”, this is a remarkably personal Funky DL album, aptly titled after the name of the building... DENNISON POINT.

LIFE AFTER DENNISON:
After an incredibly warm reception from the fans of the auto-biographical November 2018 release "Dennison Point", Funky DL returns precisely one year later with the sequel, "Life After Dennison". Keeping in theme with vocal accompanied breaks, the album explores topics such as, racism, discrimination, family, friendship, education, conflict, hardship, good fortune and the life lessons gained from them all. The focus sits firmly on the lyrical aspect of the album moreover the beats, however DL's trademark sound still weaves through and compliments the rhetoric throughout. One would think it difficult to capture so much insight into the last 14 years since moving out of Dennison Point, however, in just 30 minutes running time, the album showcases the continuation of DL's life exploits from October 10th 2005 to present day. The annexation of the 10 tracks from "Dennison Point" to "Life After Dennison" paint a vivid picture of the man behind the music and provide the backdrop of who Funky DL was, is and potentially might become. ‘Green & Gold’ is the second collaborative release from Mr Key & Greenwood Sharps, the long awaited follow up to their critically acclaimed 2015 album ‘Yesterday’s Futures’. The record was written and recorded between Greenwood Sharps’ cottage in the verdant English countryside and the off grid Finca in the foothills of the Andalusian Sierra Nevada, Spain where Key is based. The title has multiple meanings none of which are anything to do with weed or money. First and foremost, green and gold are the colours which synesthete (a person who sees sound) Greenwood Sharps, composed the record in. It also alludes to the dialogue between the green of the UK and the dusty gold of Andalucia which created the project. Finally green and gold speaks of the dynamic between the sun and photosynthesising organisms, the driving force of life on earth. ‘Yesterday’s Futures’ took the listener on a meandering journey through a vast landscape of moods, sounds and ideas, leading ultimately to redemption and the possibility of resolution. Thematically, ‘Green & Gold’ picks up where ‘Yesterday’s Futures’ left off, but structurally it takes the opposite tack; an extended exploration of a single ubiquitous idea: universal love for all things and all people and the challenge of maintaining these shiny ideals in day to day life, as our cynical side reasserts itself.

The mighty Oxygen returns to AE Productions with a highly anticipated full-length album produced entirely by the multi-talented Tea Sea Records owner and producer/MC Tom Caruana.
Anyone familiar with AE Productions releases will know that Oxygen has been rolling with us for many years so we’re hyped to be able to release his debut solo long player. Village Live Records are proud to present 'Time & Tide', the new album by Mancunian poet and emcee, D'Lyfa Reilly.

The 12-track album is entirely produced by Village Live artist Aver and is the last release to be overseen by the label's co-founder Joey Deez, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

D'Lyfa burst onto the UK hip-hop scene in 2011 aged 19. After releasing a slew of mix tapes and videos he gained notoriety across the UK, most notably being featured on BBC Introducing and Charlie Sloth's 1xtra national radio shows.

It was during this period that D'Lyfa befriended fellow Mancunian hip-hop producer Aver. The two had a shared vision of an alternative, no-nonsense approach to music and worked together for years on a number of projects that never saw official release. 'Time & Tide' is a combination of reworked tracks from this era and new music the pair created in 2019.

The album will be available on limited edition 12" vinyl in two colour ways: standard black, and the other an aquatic-themed transparent blue with white swirl. The digital version of the album, along with the instrumentals will also be available to stream/buy when 'Time & Tide' is fully released at the start of 2021.

John Frusciante releases the first instrumental electronic album under his own name on Aaron Funk's Timesig label. The record is dedicated to his cat Maya who recently passed away, a fellow traveller in his otherwise solitary music making sessions. 'Maya' is inspired by John's favourite music: '91 to'96 UK breakbeat hardcore and jungle. It's a varied and personal take with sophisticated, authentic production balanced against John's acute sense of melody, an inspired blending of machines and samples infused with a joyful energy. "I don't have that interest in singing or writing lyrics like I used to. The natural thing when I'm by myself now, is to just make music like the stuff being released this year.
