It was ten years ago that the rowdy but ever-elegant Midnight Kings made their stage debut. Since then, these unlikely monarchs of rhythm'n'blues – gentlemen who’ve thrown in their lot with rock'n'roll, garage punkers with hearts full of soul – simply haven’t stopped for a minute. They’ve sweated, sung, danced and driven others to dance at hundreds of clubs and dozens of festi- vals across Europe, earning the respect, esteem and, more often than not, the adoration of many loyal fans of true rock’n'roll. Following hot on the heels of two popular albums distributed throughout Europe, and a single that has now become a sought-after collector's item, comes their latest offering, "Last Chance To Dance", due for release at the end of 2022 on Wild Honey Records. It consists of eight songs, five originals and three covers ("Bumble Bee", "The Girl Can't Dance" and "C'mon And Swim"), destined to become the soundtrack of every rock'n'roll party worthy of the name. THEODOR is a psychedelic sweet soul band formed by members with diverse musical backgrounds.
Whilst on a road trip to Italy Rob and Lui were listening to tapes of contemporary soul music. The idea was born to record an album channeling a moody and relaxed soundscape. „Right after our trip we called up our good friends Max and Greg, who were immediately on board. We wrote and recorded deep in the pandemic. Those weekend sessions captured this peaceful solitude“ The outcome was their self-titled debut album which will be released in February 2023 on the french label Broc Recordz. The rich sonic texture and unconventional arrangements of their very first single SHEPARD’S LULLABY gives a hint on what is to be expected on their forthcoming LP. THEODOR created a perfect soundtrack for a hot and humid summer day having a magic dash in your twelve o’clock tea. Playful melodic bass lines and the soulful acoustic drums build the playground for the warm and dreamy keys such as farfisa organs, fender rhodes and 80's synths. The lush instrumentals are spiced by the very different yet complementary voices of Max and Lui.

"A Go Go" (1966) by Los Larks is released now on vinyl, from the original IRT masters!This is a legendary album, as it was the first record ever by a Chilean pop - rock band.The band took a very special care with their look, so they used the famous "beatle wigs "on their live show and TV appearances.Los Larks were the first exponents of Chilean rock to reach an important repercussion, supported by their aesthetics, close to that of the fab four, and their style, framed in what was then called 'a go go' Pop rock perfectly executed, danceable and that led Los Larks to success despite their short career, just two LPs, and some singles, and to be the main representatives of the visual phenomenon called at that time 'colerico'.This album is essentially covers of the hits of the moment in the 'beat' world, with classics by the Monkees, Dave Clark Five, and of course, their favorites, the Beatles.

Columbus, in Lowndes County, is the childhood home of Tennessee Williams (just down US Route 45 from White Station, birthplace of Howlin' Wolf).
