Inspired by a weird mixture between Aldous Huxley's visionary work and some biblical myths, Eyeless in Gaza, (formed in 1980) are one of the most original and creative bands emerging from the early 80's British post-punk scene. An intimate duo line up featuring Martyn Bates - vocals, guitar, organ, and Peter Becker - drums, bass, synth. "Caught in Flux" originally released in 1981 on Cherry Red and reissued here in its original format LP + 12" is their second album. The result of a one-take studio session with no overdubs. A perfectly balanced combination of various elements arising from post-punk, art rock, ambient music, and psychedelia. This was an important step towards a form of music where all these influences were organically integrated into a highly purified sound experience.

Centripetal Force (North America), in conjunction with Cardinal Fuzz (UK/Europe), is excited to announce the upcoming release of Elkhorn’s The Acoustic Storm Sessions, the sister album to the much-lauded The Storm Sessions released earlier this year on Beyond Beyond Is Beyond. Elkhorn is known for their unique blend of psych/folk guitar music, with Jesse Sheppard on fingerstyle twelve-string acoustic and Drew Gardner on six-string electric. The Acoustic Storm Sessions, recorded the evening before The Storm Sessions, also features Turner Williams (Ramble Tamble, Guardian Alien) on guitar and marks the first time Elkhorn has created an entirely acoustic album. The Acoustic Storm Sessions is comprised of two side-long tracks drawing on the trio’s intimate knowledge of each others’ playing as they immerse themselves in the spirit of improvisation and allow it to guide the music’s course. As a result, there are raga-like qualities to these pieces, a revolving array of melodies, rhythmic flourishes and subtle embellishments that not only entrance the performers but the listener as well. The film score to the 1992 film Trespass was performed by Ry Cooder and Jim Keltner, along with Jon Hassell. It was heavily influenced by experimental jazz, mixing that with tones from modern instruments. “King of the Street” has some of the dialogue from the film. The last track “Party Lights” is a mighty fine country tune featuring Junior Brown on vocals, guitars & steel guitar; David Lindley on fiddle & Van Dyke Parks on piano. Some tracks, such as the opening credits are typically undeniable Ry Cooder style, others are twisted and craggy.

Legendary American musician Ry Cooder played together with the worlds greatest artists, such as John Lee Hooker, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Neil Young, and Eric Clapton. Cooder is known for his slide guitar work, and was ranked eighth on Rolling Stone magazine’s 2003 list of “The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”.

Available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on transparent red coloured vinyl. The package includes an insert.

'Trash' is the 18th studio album by rock singer Alice Cooper, released in 1989. The album features the single 'Poison', Cooper's first top ten hit since 1977. It marked a great success in Cooper's music career, reaching the Top 20 of various album charts and selling millions of copies of 'Trash'. Black Rainbows are back with a brand new album! This time they are delivering 12 new and fresh tunes. Recorded and produced by Fabio Sforza, who was also behind the previous album Pandaemonium. “Cosmic Ritual Supertrip” has a monolithic force; guitars, drums and bass are all glued together to give the listener a punch in the face! This album gets its magic power from mixing together a 70’s attitude with a doom-occult and stoner rock sound in a masterful way. We can count a bunch of singles, such as “Isolation” and “Master Rocket Power Blast”, as well as a couple of doomy songs like “Universal Phase” and “Saacred Graal” and also more catchy tunes like “Radio 666” and “At Midnight You Cry”. Church of Anthrax is a collaborative studio album by
musicians John Cale (The Velvet Underground) and Terry
Riley (minimalist pioneer). It didn’t sound much like either of
them, mixing Riley’s drone sounds and slow patterns with
melodic and experimental rock and jazz parts. This rare
treat still rocks with the multiple layers forming a perfect
balanced blend between different musical styles. Both
musicians display sides of themselves that you never would
have anticipated from their previous work. It serves as a
starting point for a lot of ideas that continue to be developed
in the world of accessible avant-garde music.

lFranco Falsini is a musician and composer who, already in the mid-'60s, was full-time involved in music
activities: a tireless traveler and experimenter, an artist with uncommon curiosity and intuition, after
having lived for some time in the United States and England, he finally established again in Italy where he gave shape to Sensations' Fix and signed a contract with Polydor for the release of six records in five years.

In addition to the composition and release of the Sensations' Fix LP's, Falsini was able to record a solo
album in 1975, 'Cold Nose (Naso freddo)', the soundtrack of the eponymous short film directed by Filippo Milani, which Falsini himself says it's the description of 'a day in the life of a Freudian cocaine addict. There were only three actors, two of whom represented the paranoia of the main and only character, Miguel, a Spaniard who lived as a photomodel companion. [...] There was no action at all in the film, which was basically made of moving photographs, with many close-ups [...]. This, with the absence of dialogues, made the soundtrack fundamental. The slowness of the images had to be reflected in music, and synchronizing everything wasn't easy. [...] Everything was analogic and the tape cuts were handmade'.

Sonically speaking, 'Cold Nose' is a space/psychedelic trip played by Falsini in complete autonomy, with
only bass, guitar, keyboards/synthesizers and sporadic vocalizations at the end of the third and last part of the opera, a long 20-minute composition that fills the entire B-side of the record. Sounds and atmospheres are still fresh totay, and it wouldn't have been wrong to define them 'avant-garde' back in those days!

We are so stoked to present a big comeback, a dream come true!
Heavy Psych Sounds Records is reissuing first three albums of the Swedish legendary band Dozer: In The Tail Of A Comet (2000, Man's Ruin Records), Madre De Dios (2001) and Call It Conspiracy (2003, both out via Molten Universe). Three masterpieces of the European stoner scene. These three records elevated the scene to a higher level and gave Dozer the scepter of the Scandinavian stoner movement. In the post-Kyuss era, Dozer, along with bands like Los Natas and Acid King, brought a flurry of pure, desert-style monolithic riffs and tons of fuzz guitars. The songwriting on all these three albums was what really distinguished Dozer from the other bands of the early 2000's. The band had a very big influence on the European stoner bands and we can definitely say Dozer are one of the European stoner godfathers. Dozer's last album was Beyond Colossal in 2008, we don't know if they will ever return back with a new release but in the meantime we can enjoy this special “threesome”...
