Newly remastered for vinyl, both come with spectacular 12 inch booklets.

Kivimetsän Druidi (The Druid Of The Stone Forest) play metal that is both adventurously original and filled with elements that sound familiar. Part of the Finnish folk metal movement, which also spawned bands like Korpiklaani and Turisas, Kivimetsän Druidi's music stems from a similar origin but is more complex and symphonic. Their two albums to date were released by Century Media and are now being made available on limited vinyl courtesy of Svart Records.

Founded 1988 in Stockholm/Sweden, Dismember were among those responsible for Death Metal's big break through. The debut album, Like An Ever Flowing Stream from 1991, clearly showed that Dismember are an uncompromising band which resulted in their rise to cult status and within a short period of time the album took the scene by storm. Extensive touring with bands like Death, Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse showed that Dismember are a live force to be reckoned with and the number of fans grew steadily. The band then released the 5-track EP, "Pieces", and went out on tour again with Napalm Death and Obituary. They played for thousands of fans throughout Europe thus reinforcing their status as one of the best live bands on earth. "Dismember" is the ultimate death metal album from one of the finest Swedish bands. Dismember have lost nothing in terms of intensity. The sheer pace and passion of the songs are blistering and the vocal sounds as pissed off as ever. Powerful riffs that are not in short demand, plenty of lead works and amazingly melodic harmonies are what the metal scene needed and Dismember have them in huge spades. This is definitely one of the best death metal releases in many, many years.

Taking its name from the 50-foot effigy burned every year by a hysterical mob during the Fiestas De Santa Fe in Santa Fe, NM, Zozobra is the brainchild of Caleb Scofield (Cave In / Old Man Gloom) and, to carry on his musical legacy, the two Zozobra albums Harmonic Tremors (2007) and Bird Of Prey (2008) can now be streamed everywhere on all streaming platforms once again. Also both albums will see their respective vinyl releases, the first time they will be officially issued on vinyl for widespread distribution (previous editions were tour-only editions and the Caleb memorial version). Following on the seismic heels of Harmonic Tremors, Bird Of Prey was originally released in 2008 via Hydra Head Records respectively and features drummer Aaron Harris (Isis), who also recorded and mixed the album. Scofield’s second full-length under the Zozobra moniker is a white-hot exploder shot through with snaking melody lines and implacable riffs. It was quite chaotic putting this album together. It’s recorded in 5 different locations. Rehearsal rooms, a living room, a super professional studio, high and low really. I guess it was quite a challenge for Robert Ekholm to do the mixing. It was also some personal challenges at the time which resulted in John Hermansen doing the vocals. John is an incredible singer and an awesome dude, we’re very thankful he helped us keeping the band rolling. The album was supposed to be released earlier than it was but due to all kinds of stuff out of our control it took some time. In the middle of this chaos was the music, the constant in an ever changing universe. It’s an album we’re proud of and we still play many songs from it live.

Post-metal auteurs Burst (Sweden) announce return, 2022 remastered vinyl release of their classic 3 albums “Prey On Life” (2003), “Origo” (2005) and “Lazarus Bird” (2008). When Swedish progressive metal quintet Burst disbanded indefinitely after a string of acclaimed albums and an intense live catharsis in Gothenburg, Sweden in December 2009, it marked the end of a 15 year evolution. What started out as young, crusty hardcore band in the 90’s, developed into a unique blend of metal, progressive rock and hardcore, alternating grand atmospheres with abrasive metal and melancholy melodicism. During the following years, the die-hards kept the torch lit while new fans discovered the band’s catalogue, but apart from a one-off appearance at Spain’s Be Prog festival in 2018, the band has remained quietly slumbering. Until 2022. This fall, Pelagic Records will release individual standalone LP releases of the aforementioned albums - the first two for the first time ever on vinyl format. Originally released on CD through Relapse Records, the albums have been remastered and graphically refurbished in 2022, with all new artwork by R obert Samsonovitz. During their tenure, Burst mastered the art of continuous progression, always evolving, always treading uncarefully, never abiding. Burst’s live performances mirrored their albums; a display of meteoric ferociousness and heavy grooves, weaving effortlessly in and out of metallic outrage, stark melodies, and ethereal soundscapes.

In 2008, Have A Nice Life released their now cult classic Deathconsciousness LP to a whimper and critical non-interest. Six years after its release the band followed up with 2014's stunner The Unnatural World, Deathconsciousness has become a force of influence and fanatic obsession. Seamlessly blending, with unparalleled depth and weight, shoegaze, post punk, new wave, industrial and noise. The album was originally released by Enemies List Home Recordings founded by Hanl members Dan and Tim. The album has since floated in and out of production, with the last instantly out of print vinyl pressing occurring in 2009. Now, longtime Hanl collaborator The Flenser will re-issue Deathconsciousness with deluxe packaging, including a lengthy accompanying zine. Have A Nice Life commented, “Working with Flenser lets us keep things comfortable on our end, while also pressing enough copies to actually meet the need and not creating an artificially-inflated collector’s market, as happened with some of our past releases.” The Flenser's reissue of Deathconsciousness will be accompanied by a 75-page booklet detailing the dark and forgotten history of the Antiochean cult. The album is rhythmic, primal and expansive and is a gloomy-post-punk masterpiece; a mediation on death, loss and unrequited love. It is perhaps a fanbase as dark and mysterious as the Antiochean’s, the album itself revolves around. Lightning Love, a band consisting of siblings Leah and Aaron Diehl and friend Ben Collins, delivers a cheery indie-pop sound flavored with sugary sweet keyboard-driven arrangements and underscored by heart-on-sleeve honesty. Their self-released debut album, November Birthday (2009), leveraged Leah’s compelling vocals and themes of tackling the challenges of newfound adulthood and is sure to appeal to fans of Mates of State, Alvvays, Spoon, and Belle and Sebastian.

All Music Guide wrote at the time, “[November Birthday] was a collection of bright, enthusiastic and minimally arranged indie-pop coupled with dour, neurotic lyrics that swung from ironically witty to the borderline cry-for-help territory. The underlying despair of the album was easily outshined by the band’s gift for hooks and straightforward melodies proud to be uncluttered and classically streamlined, even if they were supporting lyrics about falling-down drunkenness or not wanting to leave the house.”

Lightning Love signed to Quite Scientific in 2011 and released a sophomore album Blonde Album to wider critical acclaim including glowing reviews in Paste, Vice, Under the Radar and My Old Kentucky Blog, and was featured on NPR’s World Cafe. Guitarist Collins went on to lead the Detroit group Minihorse (Park the Van Records) and has recorded with and produced for many bands, including Anna Burch (Polyvinyl). Lightning Love was a finalist in Billboard magazine’s 2011 Battle of the Bands and has been featured on Cartoon Network’s “Adult Swim” and in a number of movies.

The band has toured with The Von Bondies, Jamaican Queens, and Tally Hall. They have also shared the stage with such notable acts as The High Strung, Walk the Moon, Mayer Hawthorne, and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. Lightning Love has performed at SXSW, Midpoint Music Fest, Mitten Fest, CMJ, and Daytrotter Session.

November Birthday is a cherished release to the band and their biggest fans and Lost in Ohio is pleased to be re-releasing the album for the first time ever on vinyl. The reissue features stunning new artwork from Nathan Price (BRONCHO), fresh remasters from Adam Boose (Cauliflower Audio), liner notes from Gregory Dean McIntosh (Great Lakes Myth Society) and two bonus tracks!

Some painful subjects are woven into the pop-rock and orchestral sounds. From the slow-burning “Spinning” to the razor sharp single “Swim”, it’s a versatile and colourful album.

Jack’s Mannequin is the side project of Andrew McMahon from pop punk band Something Corporate. They recorded three albums during their existence. McMahon crafted some incredible pop songs for the band.
