Go Sailor were a great, short-lived band from the mid-90s who represent a key link in the US indie music chain. Featuring Rose Melberg (Tiger Trap, The Softies, Gaze, Brave Irene, Knife Pleats), Linton (Henry's Dress, The Aislers Set) and Paul Curran (Take A Day fanzine, Crimpshrine, Monsula), they released three great singles and a few compilation tracks, and then went their separate ways. But what records they are! Basic and lovely in their song-writing, they're perfect snapshots of where indie-pop was during that last burst of pre-internet indie activity. Touching on time-honored themes of friendship and love (lost and found), they resonate with honesty and purity of intention. The trio reunited in the early 2010s to play to enraptured crowds at the NYC and Athens Popfests, and their appearance at the Slumberland 20th Anniversary show was the stuff of legend. This album compiles all three of their 7" singles (for Slumberland, Yoyo and Lookout!) and compilation tracks and was first released on vinyl in 2011. Due to pressing plant issues it quickly went out of print, so we are very happy to bring you this new edition, back on vinyl where it belongs with a new insert featuring liner notes and lots of cool band pictures and ephemera.

"The New Backwards" was conceived by Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson in 2007, revisiting stray

tracks which hadn't seemed to gel with the material he had chosen for the more somber "Ape of

Naples" from 2005, Coil's initial posthumous release, a sort of requiem and a kiss-goodbye to

his then recently deceased partner John Balance.

Significantly different to its sister release, this album collects the brilliantly chaotic and outrage-

ously rhythmic material from the original sessions for the album that was begun as early as 1993

and had originally been conceptualised as the follow-up to "Love's Secret Domain".

In many ways, Opeth’s Blackwater Park can be considered as their answer to The Beatles’ Revolver, both uncompromising and experimental, but equally commercially viable and unfuckwithable masterpieces. It is also arguably still the most cherished album in the Swedish metallers illustrious catalogue as a rising progressive influence kicked open prog’s ornate doors, fed death metal through the cosmic kaleidoscope and introduced a generation of music nerds to a world of limitless musical possibilities. At the time of this recording, Lungfish was Daniel Higgs, ASA Osborne, Sean Meadows, and Mitchell Feldstein.

Infernal Love is the third studio album by Irish alternative metal band Therapy?. It was released in 1995, just one year after its successful predecessor Troublegum. Infernal Love proved to be a success as well: even though its sound marked a dramatic shift from previous releases, the album was lauded by critics. Kerrang! magazine gave it 5 out of 5 stars, as did Q Magazine. The album features the international hit single “Diane”, a cover of the American punk band Hüsker Dü, which is noted for being laden with ambient strings. “Misery”, “Stories”, “Loose” and “Bad Mother” were also released as singles in different markets.

East Village are one of the great lost bands. Along with other legendary bands like Big Star and The Action, who also failed to fully stamp their mark whilst active, East Village made pop music that was timeless, but out-of-step with the musical environment around them.

From their mid-80s roots as Episode Four to their late-80s heyday with a string of now highly sought-after singles and EPs on labels like Sub Aqua, Heavenly and Summershine, East Village forged a brilliant, classic sound that resonated with contemporaries like the Flying Nun and Creation label bands, but also hearkened back to 60s influences like The Byrds, Dylan and Velvet Underground.

Just as their star was rising they dissolved on-stage in the spring of 1991, but their legend has only grown. A posthumous album, "Drop Out," is now hailed as a classic of its genre, and a compilation, "Hotrod Hotel," was released to great acclaim by Summershine in 1994, finally now seeing its first, long overdue, vinyl release.

Punk rock institution Bad Religion began recording New Maps Of Hell, the follow-up to 2004's heralded The Empire Strikes First at Grand Master Studios in Los Angeles in mid-February 2007, just as Greg Graffin was giving midterms at his other job: professor of Life Sciences at UCLA. Originally released on July 10, 2007, New Maps Of Hell is co-written with Epitaph head Brett Gurewitz, and produced by Grammy-nominated producer Joe Barresi (Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer). Gurewitz states, "we all liked the concept of maps, because we are exploring new material on this record, both musically and topically." Quite a feat for a band that has been around for 25+ years.

LOS NATAS is a trio formed during 1994 in Buenos Aires/Argentina. Their musical influences are numerous and varied, having the base of the raw and psychedelic sound of 1970s bands such as The Doors, Black Sabbath, The Who, Pink Floyd and Hawkwind, among others. Los Natas propose a journey made of basic elements: valvular equipment and vintage instruments, they incorporate the use of the senses and perception of the listener as a part of a sonic trip.
