Using a swirling vocoder and intermittent dance beats, this single flickers like a channel-surfer finding pop sensibilities in between the static. The B-side, a remix by Selector Dub Narcotic (Calvin Johnson), ups the playfulness by reducing the static in favor of an unkempt, bubbling mix of melodica and reemerging synths.

This is the first single from the new album 'Triple Distilled' and it's already getting played on BBC 6Music, 'Begging You' was recorded at Ranscombe Studios in Grahams hometown Rochester and it's backed with an exclusive b-side a great instrumental called 'Sitar Spangled Banner'. After a year of touring and the release of their 'Travelled And Unravelled' EP earlier this year, the Gaolers returned to the studio in July 2008 to record their follow up to the critically acclaimed debut album 'Soundtrack To The Daily Grind' with their second album 'Triple Distilled' at Ranscombe Studios in Rochester, Kent which is due for release in October 2008. 'Triple Distilled' is made up of 12 blistering new tracks with fairly autobiographical lyrics telling tales of their life on the road, drinking and smoking. As usual they are the amalgamation of Graham's tuneful and aggressive songs, driven with an energy and attitude, which has been perfectly captured in a simple no-frills studio recording. Buzz couldn't make the recording so Johnny Barker (Ex of The Buff Medways) has stepped in and will also be part of the band that hits the road again around the albums release for another European tour and a headline show at the legendary 100 CLUB in London on October 29th Dan Elektro from the great US band The Woggles is on drums. This is a 4 track, split 7" featuring two tracks by Holly Golightly & The Brokeoffs, who as I'm sure you know by now are the dynamic duo of Holly Golightly and Lawyer Dave. The STRATFORD SPARROWS are from Portland, Oregon. The Rev. Joe alighted there from San Francisco. After making it though the many trials of life in the City of Roses, he began hearing the sounds of harmony vocals, clean Telecasters, and reverb. He obtained a recording device and brought it back to the humble Stratford apartments. He met the fair Miss Bryna in Japanese class and asked her to put her sweet voice to good use. She said yes and the hit making commenced. Taking inspiration from classic country music, the mighty Willamette River, and the 100 year old building that houses them, the Stratford Sparrows made music all summer long. Rev. Joe called on his friend Holly and a record was born. Every time Rev. Joe turns a knob or pushes a fader, the sounds in his head are approached.

Life is full of ups and downs. Sometimes you get up just to get down again. Sometimes you run just to feel the wind against your face, and sometimes you stand still to watch things crumble around you. Vancouver's Ladyhawk knows this. And they got up - way up - and entered a recording studio for a day-long session between tours in the first half of 2006. Perhaps they then soared too close to the sun, like moths drawn into the flame, only to fly again into the shadows, their wings singed. And then maybe, gathering their burned and broken instruments about them, they limped their way home, rearranging the pieces and sounds haphazardly, letting them all lay as they fell.The end result is the sound of four brothers breaking something down to create something new, reaching into the fire again. It is a shattering 6-song march called Fight For Anarchy, all unmuzzled and jawing out, nothing edited or expunged. And on it Ladyhawk show that, like Spoon, Dinosaur Jr. or Tom Waits, they have the ability to conjure growls, snarls, and storms of sound into musical lightning, never striking the same place twice.

It's our 6th album now and the firs album with the Amazing Clone Drum Set !!!, we started in 1986 the recordings and the songs went trashier and more Fuzz and Feedback every year _.. for this record we bought our own home made studio with mixing desk and a 1 inch tape machine and microphones from the trashcan, Pumi our Live Mixer and Janosh recorded it in a week, for the first 1000 copies we did a 1000 pice puzzle and a pox as a sleeve_ but that item is sold out already now we present you the official version of this TRASH PICE, when we started making the songs for this record I had no lust to write any lyrics to that so we made up most songs free and I sung what I felt like to sing.. it's anyway all about killing killing some more the falling in love and get killed go to hell and having fun down there_THIS RECORD IS FULL TRASH, I DON'T THINK THAT ANY SERIOUS RADIO STATION GONNA PLAY THIS BUT IF SO_ THEN WE HAVE A CHOISE TO GIVE YOU ON YOUR WAY_ PLAY LOUD AS POSSIBLE_we recorded is loud as fuck, so the neighbours came over a view times while we recording that record..but even better is if you come to our shows and we blow your brain away in one second !!!

this is a film soundtrack for the Movie 'Flammend herz' by Andrea Schuler and Olifr Rutz.. the movie is about the Oldest German Tattoo Parlour and his owner Herbert Hofmann who is a legend him self.. now 85 jears old and his friend who are both 90 jears old are from the head to the food full on tattooed and every tattoo tells a more unique story.. and the same is it with the soundtrack who won the first price at the Bienale in Berlin Germany (germanys most important film festivals).. the music to the movie is all instrumental with elements of easy listening to country 30's Jazz jango reinhard style over to blues and sicilian funeral music.. the Dead Brothers shows us again how bright the specrum is and how great this music is... this is funeral music at it's best !!! the LP comes with a printed innersleeve and the CD is in a Digi Pack with a little booklet with pictures from the movie and the band cover artwork was made by Laura Satana a tattoo artist from Parismastered at: echo chamber in Zurich
